Oh, I hadn’t thought of it in that way! And you know, you make an excellent point

I’ve been piecing together a few snippets of information from here and there as to what happened with X. My working theory is this - we know that X was not in a relationship with N or M. We know they were not in a relationship with A. But they did have feelings for someone in the UB realm

There was a previous handler UB had. I think it’s from the asks, but Rebecca has been with UB for about a decade, the tail end of X’s tenure as F had been in UB for seven years. She said in book three that when she left the Chamber, there was an opening in UB, and it felt like it was an abrupt opening (I imagine if the prior handler had retired, there would have been more of a plan for their replacement)

So! I’m putting these two idea spheres together and my theory is that … X and the previous handler may have been involved, something went wrong, X resigned after a few years

And I wonder how M and the previous handler got along, especially that M is very loyal to those they care about!

everyone was so harsh to alola it deserved so much better. like this region is so well designed and so pretty and the story is actually really fun? will never forgive everyone for what we did to her

#I started a sun nuzlocke and granted I’ve only just finished the melemele grand trial #and idk! I’m having a great time!#when I played it the first time I didn’t love it but I was also doing pretty bad at the time and had started being less into pokemon #there are reasons I understand being frustrated like the constant stop start of tutorials and cutscenes but also like?#maybe it’s that i know they’re coming and have accepted it but can’t you just like enjoy the ride? it’s a way more involved story I guess #like you get to talk to lillie and hau a bunch and see what they’re up to! feels more like actually going on a journey w your friends yknow #compared to idk sinnoh where you run into Barry occasionally or even bw where there are 3 parallel journeys which intersect #also think when I first played it I didn’t like the removal of megas. z moves as a concept. and the removal of national dex #and yeah all those things suck a little bit maybe I’m just more used to it now after galar+paldea #idk! but man alola itself is so cool it’s just so good #I rlly love the environments and the island setup and god alolan pokemon are so fun #the one thing I DO have beef abt is the relative paucity of grass types but it’s not even that bad. that’s a me thing bc i like grass types #(it would be unfair to judge alola on ice types especially given they’re kinda the best about it to that point bc of tapu village)#anyway I’m rambling but alola!!! alola my beloved I’m so sorry #this is my first time properly playing since it came out bc I didn’t wanna restart ultra/sun for the longest time #my original sun had all my ancient pokemon from the bank launch free trial. rip to my original black + x teams. and also the 2020 mythicals #ultra sun is my last original save file pre-switch so i am very reluctant to restart that. maybe one day. until then! sun <3 #luke.txt

finally mostly caught up with tbhk manga i’m fin e (violently shaking in place)

#WAAAAAHHHHHHH HANANENE KISS SCENE AFTER NEARLY TEN YEARS !!!!!!!#okay well. four years for me since i only started reading in 2020 BUT #agh. head in hands. you don’t get how much of a death grip this show gave me to the ghost x human trope #i was making wounded squeaky toy noises that whole chapter i’m so normal about what they have (lying)#all the characters in this manga are my friends….. aside from tsukasa. and teru. they both suck #I CAN SEE redemption potential in teru but. man. that way he treated kou during that one chapter with no. 6…… cries #i hate when the ‘comedic relief’ characters are just minimized down to that by the people in universe and aren’t seen for their strengths #kou for best character btw. best boy. light of my life he deserves everything #anyway. feeling normal (lying!! liar!!!!)#delete later

#‘wdym by ‘CAN’’ well you see i decided to wait until the new year to start something new #i like to try to divide new experiences into neat time frames #to say ‘oh yeah i did x thing in y year’#and i wouldn’t have been able to complete it before the new year if i had started it right when i got it last week #<—- person with really normal thoughts about personal schedules #i put more limits on myself than anyone or anything else does #so this will be a 2023 game for me #peach rambles #i played 3 games for the first time in 2020 but only 2 were truly new experiences #(i had watched a playthrough of skyward sword already bc i didn’t think i’d ever get to play it. idiot that i was)#i played 2 games for the first time in 2021 (the twewys)#and i played 2 games for the first time this year without having to pay for either of them let’s goooo #as it stands i have 2 games scheduled for 2023 first being violet and then totk in may #which might consume my entire rest of the year actually #i’m gonna take my time with it because i’m so hyped and i trust nintendo to put a ton of new and amazing content in it #but at the same time i might have to take a long hiatus from tumblr altogether because it is absolutely imperative that i avoid spoilers #i’ve been waiting for the sequel to my fave game for years i have to have the experience untainted #might just have to go totally offline for the entirety of my summer break tbh!!!
