Yuuji worked himself to death. However, this is not the end for Yuuji, he will now be reborn into a new life. While he wants a simple life, he gets the title of Monster Tamer. This is considered the weakest of adventurers, but he takes this with stride and tames slimes. With the help of these slimes, Yuuji acquires magical powers. Even with his new found strength, Yuuji is still haunted by his past, but as he keeps competing challenging tasks, his secret abilities might be found out.

First Impression: My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World

Yuji, a Tamer who is also a Sage, works with his army of slimes (plus a dryad and a wolf) to save a town from an onslaught of monsters. The job well done, he sneaks out under cover of night and heads to the next town. Oh, along the way a random flashback implies that Yuji was once an overworked salaryman. We also learn that a generically evil cult is behind the horde of monsters. That’s that first episode, but wait, there’s more! We actually get two episodes for the series premiere. Yuji forms a party with Rodis, Tina, and Lisa to investigate the whereabouts of a dragon. Rodis is overtly sketchy. In a dream, Yuji recalls how he got isekai’d, and met a friendly slime who led him to a random library with a ton of other slimes who helped him become overpowered. Rodis commits sudden but inevitable betrayal, but Yuji puts him and his bandit buddies on ice. The moon turns purple and this is a Bad Thing.

This series seems to open confusingly in medias res, but then the second episode reveals Yuji only got isekai’d a week ago, so actually not much has been skipped over. The soundtrack is pretty good, but beyond that the show looks to be a generic isekai power fantasy: moderately entertaining, but relatively shallow. And I’ll still come back next week. Why? Because slimes! Yuji’s pack of cutesy and goofy slimes (including a delightfully nonsensical slime theater ED) was entertaining enough that I’ll tune in at least once more to see their antics. My overall expectations are still pretty low, but My Isekai Life may prove reasonably enjoyable if it stays funny enough.

A que buen anime fue este, gráficos decentes, buena historia aunque sea isekai lo variaron esta vez sin contar que hicieron varios cliches de otras series fue divertido, espero que en la siguiente temporada le pongan compañeros eso de que ande siempre solo esta chido pero denle una waifu a este prota, 10/10. It's the Slimes' Time to Shine in My Isekai Life TV Anime Trailer

  A slime-tastic new trailer has been published for My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World! (known in Japan as Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life - Daini no Shokugyou o Ete, Sekai Saikyou ni Narimashita, or "Tensei Kenja" for short), an upcoming TV anime based on the series of fantasy light novels written by Shinkoshoto and illustrated by Huuka Kazabana about a workaholic who becomes a hero in a magical fantasy world thanks to his new abilities and some helpful slimes.

  The preview video (below) features the ending theme for the series, entitled "Gohan da yo! Da-da-da-dan!!" ("It's meal time! B-b-b-bam!"), which is performed in-character by Surachanzu△, a 6 person voice unit composed of Hikaru Tono, Mai Kanno, Haruna Mikawa, Erisa Kuon, Nichika Ōmori, and Miharu Hanai, who all voice slimes in the show.

  The original My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World! light novels are published in Japan by SB Creative under their GA Novel imprint, and there is also a manga adaptation with artwork by Ponjea that is published by Square Enix. Square Enix describes the story of the series as follows:

  Whether at the office or at home, corporate drone Yuji Sano works all the time. So when his home PC flashes a message about him being summoned to another world, Yuji restarts his machine...only to find that he's inadvertently accepted the summons! Now in a fantasy world far removed from paperwork and computers, Yuji has just one thing on his mind: waking up from what he thinks is a dream and getting back to the mountain of work he left behind! But this other world has other plans for Yuji, who quickly discovers his Monster Tamer character class allows him to befriend slimes! And thanks to their number, those slimes help him absorb so much magical knowledge that he gains a second character class in the blink of an eye! How will Yuji wield his power now that he's the greatest sage the realm has ever known?! And what about all that paperwork?!
