The cookies aren't entirely sure what to expect when they see the cake shop pop up from out of nowhere, but once they realise exactly what it is the trickle of customers turns to a torrent. There’s a constant line of cookies outside the shop, each of them longing for a taste of the baked goods handmade by their darling player inside. Even the more asocial characters are seen making a rare public appearance and queuing up outside, Sea Fairy Cookie and Wind Archer are a surprise to many of the customers in line, rarely sighted by the regular cookie folk as they are.

Some of the cookies craft elaborate orders, trying to stall for precious time with you, while others make their orders almost painfully simple, trying to put as little pressure on you as possible. And through it all Wedding Cake Cookie preens under the attention, constantly hovering nearby to intercept whenever she notices a customer she’d rather have out of the shop, overprotective as a mother hen as she rushes them through their order. She even dares to confront the all-powerful Beast Cookies, well aware that they would never dare to lift a finger against her in front of the player.

Granting wishes from a tree, summoning items to help a broken down kingdom flourish, it was far too interesting.

✧ But when he met you face to face, you were simply, a cookie, no different from any fool he'd encountered. But how could YOU be the one giving him so much trouble? You were weak, feeble, and another cookie that stood beside that thief. There was no way you were "Baker". He could've sworn you’d dismissed the idea one or twice.

✧ You doted on Gingerbrave and the rest of those freshly baked so-called heroes like you were their parent. You had so much compassion for them, it was stupid. He had to admit though, you weren't a complete moron. You were suspicious of Candy Apple Cookie while she was still in her disguise! Almost like you already knew her true identity.

✧ Did you already know? Come to think of it, you were never as surprised as the rest when things transpired…

✧ Oh. OH! You were Baker! You were lying to everyone this whole time? Posing as a common cookie to avoid your true purpose?! Did they even know the extent of your knowledge?! What a twist! You were such a great actor you almost had him fooled. He didn't even need to corrupt you because you had already fallen so far.

✧ After reaching that conclusion he was much more focused on your antics. He wanted to find out how you’d landed in Earthbread and what made you tick. He admired your reactions, your words (full of deceit no doubt), and every other facet of your being, like a fine gem.

✧ Come to think of it, he was already stealing away Pure Vanilla’s soul jam wasn't he? Why not take away his dear friend as well? You’d surely be a fine addition to his little group, and having a powerful being such as you would make his work so much easier. It’d be especially worth it to see the look on those cookies’ faces.

[Anomaly: The Cookie Kingdom - Initial Encounter]

The kingdom in this part of Crispia was once thought to be a ruined kingdom lost and forgotten by time.

Until reports came of a "Cookie Kingdom" that seemingly appeared out of nowhere with Cookies of various backgrounds coexisting in peace.

What's most concerning are the Cookies. They were believed to be figures that have stumbled and stayed within tbe kingdom, until further observations show that they merely appear from the kingdom’s castle, baring familiar faces of lives who had lived or are currently living.

Some Cookies are peaceful enough for conversation.

"Oh, hello there! Who am I? I'm Cream Ferret Cookie. Huh? What do I do? Well..."

Cream Ferret Cookie ponders for a moment.

"Like everyone, I help with whatever I can! Right now, I'm cleaning after my special friend's magic circle. They like playing with magic."

Our infiltrator tilted their head. Were they speaking about the Vessel or the Baker?

An arrow of silver missed its mark, flying between Cream Ferret Cookie and our Cookie, codename: Shadowed Cookie.

"Halt, intruder!"

Shadowed Cookie flees the scene with alarming information.

"Faeries? Of the Faerie Kingdom?"

"Yes, it would seem so. But only three are part of the Orders. The rest of the Faeries are left out to focus on their duties, most of them are Silver Tree Knights that to guard the Cookie Kingdom, it would seem.

"By the Witches...! If that is the case, then perhaps we've have more on our plates than expected. Faeries as kingdom guards, I can only imagine what lurks in its territory the further we go in."

Due to a quote on the office worker y/n...I now can't help but imagining those old habits dying hard because y/n might believe that they have to pay bills in the cookie world, not realizing the cookies are COMPLETELY caring for em! Cue y/n trying to job search but cookies stop them because they didn't want y/n to ever overwork themselves again...so they try to get y/n into hobbies and/or just relax instead...cue y/n being surprised when no bills show up in their mailbox, only daily positive stuff in the mail and gifts the cookies know y/n would like...heck, maybe even drop off groceries to make sure y/n doesn't have the excuse of 'there's nothing at home to eat' to excuse them downing 3 cup noodles...aaaand petty sure if they see y/n getting themselves cup noodles...cue cookie instantly running up to grab the cup ans turn it into an actual meal via adding meat and other stuff lol!

That's a little off topic...main topic...imagine y/n attempting to skip meals and lie to say they aren't hungry...but the moment their stomach growls, all hell breaks loose! Health cookies trying to offer y/n food...

God forbid their stomach growls around hollyberry...she'd probably stuff em like a turkey, making sure y/n was full.

y/n literally had a crisis when they thought that they needed to pay cookie taxes now but yeah cause how bad the human world was that the cookies wondered how y/n was able to stay healthy for so long and not crack under the pressure. Y/n does deny themselves a lot of luxuries because they were to expensive for y/n and that they never had time to enjoy it and they still have that habit because they quietly see what they want but never actually get it because it's to expensive for them or if their friends wanted to take them on a trip, their boss's always said they needed to get paperwork done and then the deadline for the trip was there but their boss said they don't have leave yet. So y/n never was able to enjoy the nice things in life and this absolutely appalled the cookies who were wealthy and even regular cookies hearing how y/n worked 9 to 5 every day and even on weekends as they couldn't leave the job because how highly profile the company was so it would have ruined y/n if they left (they definitely aren't planning to drag y/n's boss to the cookie world to bascially give them the worse fate known to man or something)

Y/n is also in a mind set of having to work and earn money and they don't understand the meaning of rest as they never had a vacation or weekend off cause they literally worked minimum wage and when I say minimum, I mean minimum dude. So when getting so much stuff it basically overwhelmed y/n as they never had so much nice stuff and oh my God they get a well made house and not a apartment!? It's well furnished and has great heating and cooling!? Y/n thought it was a dream and may or may not had violently slapped themselves to see if it was a dream, it wasn't but it did scare the cookies that they did that. Red velvet cookie also gave them a cake hound as a nice gift and also a guard dog for y/n. Cheesecake cookie takes y/n to the most amazing places that some cookies couldn't afford cause she Is canonically loaded dude and poor y/n is so overwhelmed by how much stuff she gets them and y/n tries to convince Cheesecake not to spend so much on them and this goes for every cookie who is rich or gets them something expensive, poor y/n panics over the price.

the physical health cookies definitely try to keep y/n's dough loose and fit as Dr. Bones Cookie supports this as they will give y/n a doctors note for this. It's basically a schedule that blueberry pie cookie makes for y/n and does have a small notes of when y/n eats and what they need to eat and y/n finds that creepy a bit but they fear blueberry pie cookie cause they saw her angry once and they were forced a whole exercise day with all the athlete cookies and a Dr. Bones Cookie appointment in one day and it was torture for y/n as they worked in a office for so long and on top of the fact they were still new to their cookie body, it was absolutely torture and they never anger Blueberry pie cookie cause she controls y/n schedules cause the other cookies saw how efficient she is and y/n can't change that unless they ask but they don't wanna do another exercise day again. But string cheese cookie always tried to keep y/n's things clean and organized as she is a maid and all, plus fruit punch cookie owns a cafè (I looked at his game description stuff and it does say that.) so y/n is able to be at his cafè for as long as they'd like as he does like the company of y/n and they get to try new drinks that he has.

Y/n was thrown a whole feast by hollyberry and the king and queen of the hollyberry kingdom once cause y/n said they weren't hungry and then the biggest stomach growl was heard and sadly y/n couldn't escape in time cause they had left over on left overs they got to eat and I tell you y/n never had such a full meal in their lives but hey they got some berry juice to take home too. Y/n felt like they ate a whole buffet and y/n tries to not make that mistake anymore even around other cookies as they fear what that might result into.

Also once y/n once wandered about to close to beast yeast as they are a cookie in this world so it's not easy to remember where the fuck everything is and ended up being snatched up by Shadow milk cookie cause of his strings and basically this bastard tied y/n up like a spider so they couldn't run away and he just cuddled with them as he finally has them in his arms until they escaped which he was pissed about that and thinks it pure vanilla cookie who took them. Y/n just chewed on the strings until it broke and ran off. Mystic flour cookie does the same but it scares the shit out of y/n as mystic flour cookie could kill them but doesn't as she likes having y/n around, it's strange for her as she doesn't want to turn y/n into flour yet she knows these emotions can be fleeting. Burning spice cookie just holds onto y/n, like a death grip basically and y/n was a regular as human and this is basically a being with powers who needed to be locked away in a magic prison, the only way y/n escaped that was when Golden cheese cookie came to rescue them. Eternal sugar cookie hasn't gotten a hold of them luckily but soon she will but y/n is safe from her for now.

Idea for a story...based off something I saw somewhere else.

Y/n sucked into the cookie run kingdom game and transformed into a cookie and is a complete coward...like cookies, if they want y/n to come with them on adventures, have to bribe y/n into coming...or drag them as they scream in fear. They are terrified of plot because they know what happens in the cookie run story and feel like they wouldn't survive....

Buuuuut then, as they progress through the story, more cookies are revealed to love y/n and their presence in general make the cookies...nicer and more focused on making y/n happy than the plot lol. Like they start making sure y/n has their treats, that y/n is having fun, etc!

Cowardice…Pays Off?!

You aren’t sure how or why this happened. One moment you were just by yourself, ready to play a newly downloaded Cookie Run Kingdom-The Game. You saw a lot of videos about its story and characters, and you wanted to give it a shot since it all seemed so cool!! Then, just as you started the game up, your game glitched and got stuck. The screen of your phone went blank. Then, like a vortex, it pulled you inside of the game and your entire body composition changed. You were flat, smelled appetizing, and you were a lot smaller than you were supposed to be.

You became a cookie…which horrifies you immensely!

Sure, it sounded neat to be surrounded by the characters that you loved, until you realize that you now have to go through the same story as them. A story that you knew most of the outcomes…

As you finally came to, you heard the crashing sounds of asteroids from outside. You studied your surroundings a bit more until you realized: This is the Final Battle of the Dark Flour War, which surely means-

“This is…Oh no, what a horrible sight.”

“The whole place is covered in Cookie crumbs!”

You heard footsteps of 5 cookies approaching you. You vividly remembered there words as the same words from the Final Battle prologue scene. But of course, you were there. And you noticed that the Ancients immediately froze and changed once they saw you.

“Despite the foul stench and scene, it appears that a Cookie made it after all…”

“Ah! W-wait, I-I’m not s-supposed to uh— p-please I-I’m so scared, d-don’t h-hurt me p-please!!” You freaked out at the realization, and buried your face in your knees. Tears welled up in your eyes as you began to weep.

Pure Vanilla Cookie softly approached you and caressed your back. He sat down in front of you and held your arm.

“We promise you, the last thing we’d ever want is to hurt you! You don’t have to worry, we’re here to protect you with our own lives, you have my word! I’m Pure Vanilla Cookie, may I know who you are?”

With how softly and assuring he spoke, you held his hand and nodded.

“Y/N…I’m Y/N.”

You hugged him out of instinct, which definitely surprised the healer, but he didn’t mind at all. He reciprocated the hug and then hugged even tighter…as if he’s been waiting for this specific hug with you for a while

“A-wait! You g-guys have to leave!! D-D-Dark E-Enchantress Cookie is too strong for y-you all!! Y-you won’t win against her!!” You panicked as you remembered the fate that awaited the Ancients. They all looked surprised initially, but then they all looked more determined than ever.

“While your concern is appreciated, we assure that we won’t back down from Dark Enchantress Cookie. We’ll take her down AND make assure your safety at the same time.”

You looked at Golden Cheese Cookie, quietly pleading with her and the other Ancients to not go and fight this battle. They all do their best to reassure and comfort you, hoping that you understand they can’t abandon this fight. One Ancient however, stared at you differently than the others. She looked at you as if…she actually knew who you were…

White Lily Cookie saw you catch onto her staring, and she shook her head to snap back to reality.

“I-I believe we should get ready! W-We need t-to find Dark Enchantress Cookie before she finds us!”

And then, as if on cue, you all notice the sounds of Cake Hounds rapidly charging at you. The Ancients ready themselves to fight, and you trembled as you got to your feet. You hid behind Hollyberry Cookie, tightly holding onto her for dear life and shutting your eyes…until you felt various Cake Hounds nuzzling your legs. You opened your eyes to the cute creatures smiling at you and not hurting you at all, which confused the Ancients.

“Shouldn’t these Cake Hounds be attacking us? These are Dark Enchantress Cookie’s forces, and yet they’re…rolling around and nuzzling us?!”

“It appears they’ve a fondness for Y/N. We could use this to our advantage, let’s move!”

Dark Cacao Cookie scooped you up with one arm and carried you as the Ancients ran to the castle area where Dark Enchantress Cookie was.

You screamed and pleaded to not go with them since you knew what would happen. Since comforting you didn’t seem to work, two Ancients had the bright idea of bribing you to come along.

“Come now Y/N, I promise to gift with riches beyond your dreams after we win this fight! I’ll even let these Cake Hounds be with you, but you’ll spend more time with me, my closest treasure~!”

“I’ll be sure to grace you with the finest berry juice ever! My treat!! You’ll never have to worry with me around, I promise you!!”

You were more relaxed after hearing the offers of Hollyberry Cookie and Golden Cheese Cookie. After a while, you noticed everyone had stopped moving. You slowly looked up in horror…Dark Enchantress Cookie was waiting there.

“And so, upon the ruins of your home we finally meet. And it would appear…that you brought an uninvited guest~.”

…She was talking about you. You met your worried eyes with hers, but she didn’t look at you with malice. More she looked down at you like a mother would a little child…and you had no clue how to react.

Pure Vanilla Cookie stood in front of you, and had hardened gaze on Dark Enchantress Cookie.

“Dark Enchantress Cookie! What is the meaning of this?”

“Now, now. No need to be so hostile. In fact, I have a…proposition for you lot.”

“Proposition? What nonsense are you rambling about now?”

Dark Enchantress Cookie focused her gaze on you. You hid behind Pure Vanilla Cookie, but Dark Enchantress’s eyes never stopped following your movements.

“I would like to believe that we have a common interest. The Cookie that you’re shielding - Y/N I believe was your name, no? - There’s something about them that’s quite incredible, wouldn’t you say~?”

“What…w-w-what are y-you getting a-at?!” You decided to speak, or more stutter, for yourself.

“I’m saying I believe we’ve all taken an interest in you. Dare I say, we can come to a deal: I’ll cease my own vision for the world in exchange for the safety and prosperity of Y/N. Does that sound alright with you?”

You were very reluctant to respond, mostly because of how much you were taken aback by this. Is this really the same Dark Enchantress Cookie you remember?! Apparently, the Ancients had the same conflicted expressions. None of them truly knew what to say about this ordeal.

“Can we really trust her words? This could easily be just another scheme-“

“I AM serious about this, mind YOU! It’s abundantly clear none of us want Y/N in any kind of danger, and I can see it clearly in your eyes—all of us feel a special attraction to them, despite the odd circumstance~. There’s no reason to lie about it.”

You looked to the rest of the Ancients in anticipation. You had zero idea what the right answer was, if there was one, but you just prayed that you wouldn’t be hurt in any way.

“…..Fine then. For the sake of all Cookiekind, and for Y/N, we’ll trust you. But know this Dark Enchantress Cookie, we will fight you again if you ever back down from your word!”

“Hah, you won’t have to look forward to it~…”

It’s been a while since then, and you still have no idea how to feel about your situation.

On one hand, literally nothing wants to harm you in any way. Every Cookie you’ve met has been extremely kind and generous to you, even if they’re evil aligned. The Bear Jellies are so warm and welcoming, and the Sugar Gnomes have virtually become your best supportive friends. Not to mention the Cake Hounds being head over heels for you, which you reciprocated the love for them.

On the other hand…there always seemed to be some small layer of tension whenever Dark Enchantress Cookie comes to see you. She’s always super nice to you, giving you immense affection that at times seems out of character.

Of course, the Ancients always get slightly agitated when Dark Enchantess Cookie visits. Especially Golden Cheese Cookie and White Lily Cookie, who really got upset whenever Dark Enchantress took you away from them.

Granted, White Lily made some sense with her relationship with Dark Enchantress.

But Golden Cheese really took offense to whenever you’re attention was taken off of her

In any sense, the most confusing thing was whenever the Cookies wanted to take you on adventures. Mainly the Gingerbrave gang.

You were incredibly scared of going with them, mostly because you knew of the danger of their adventures and thought you’d either be harmed or get in their way.

Whenever a Cookie invites you to travel with them, they always make sure your safety is prioritized. Sometimes they’ll try to bribe you with treats, gifts, or rewards if you tag along.

But sometimes, they’ll abandon their plans just to be with you and make sure you’re comfortable.

This life of yours was so odd and scary, but your fears would eventually wash away with how much the Cookies would treasure your being above all else. You’d grow to enjoy and love the affection and care, even if it seemed to be overwhelming at times.

△ She felt something stir inside her when she gazed at you behind the gacha wall. This Baker was better then she could ever imagined when she sees you roll so hard for her, completing even the most difficult missions to have another opportunity at having her.

△ It made her feel special, valued, loved. It only amplified when you light up with joy when she finally arrived, she couldn’t help but do the same when she broke the barrier. She always greeted you onscreen when you opened the game every single time.

△ They say her heart swelled a thousand times larger when you gifted her everything that she needed to spread her wings as far as she could! She felt she was on top of the world and she only had you to thank for it. She couldn’t imagine this dance between the both of you ending anytime soon..

Those were your REAL feelings back there when she came home! You LOVE her, she knows you do! You didn’t connect to these Cookies the same way you did with her!

△ They’re NOTHING to you, right?! You can afford to lose MANY of these pests in your garden, right?! She’s only picking away the annoying weeds and gnats, leaving her beautiful home alone just for the two of you!

Shadow Milk Cookie watched with a laugh as the cookies tried to run up to that stupid tree where he was imprisoned.

No, he is free... He will not return to the cage... He freed the others, and they will rule again... Together with the Baker~

The entire kingdom is in chaos, the fairies, who were turned into puppets of the jester, constantly tried to block the path.

Shadow laughed out loud.In the end, the Elder Fairy Cookie was defeated and none of those disgusting cookies could stop him from putting on the most amazing show.Especially when he has an interesting viewer.

A little idea that’s been playing on my mind recently is yandere SACRAU… (for those uninitiated, an AU where the characters are self aware that they are in a game, and also simultaneously aware of the player, who they sometimes see as a godlike entity, invisibly guiding them).

Shadow Milk Cookie taking centre stage during his update, trying to keep all your attention on him, him, him as he throws himself at the oven doors, whining about when it will be his turn. His relentless tirade against the only entrance into your kingdom did little other than chip away at his soulstone, shards that either flew out through the grate or he slipped under the door as peace offerings. Surely if he got enough through, he would be able to reassemble on the other side?

Mystic Flour Cookie and Burning Spice trying their hardest to resist incinerating him on the spot after their own lackluster time in the spotlight. It’s not fair, why did that self-centred clown get to hog the stage (and your attention), when their own time had felt like a fleeting dream? Why did he, out of any of the cookies there, deserve to be gifted more of an opportunity than they?

And then Shadow Milk’s fervour quickly turning to rage as the gears begin to click into place, the resources you had saved for Pure Vanilla Cookie’s awakening striking true, as that irritating, blonde fool extends a hand to push open the oven doors with little resistance, only slamming shut when Shadow Milk tries his luck. There’s a smug sense of self-satisfaction that Mystic Flour and Burning Spice can’t help but feel at his simmering frustration. Better luck next time?

✿ EARTHBREAD is a land of sweets both sentient and inanimate, a paradise of confections of all kinds. The cuisine, infrastructure, and culture are all sugary sweet. Unfortunately for you though it's the farthest thing from a paradise, it's hell.

✿ Within the Cookie Kingdom practically everything you eat is at least partially sweet. Whether it be bread, jampies, croissants, and even the pasta somehow, sugar is involved. You're constantly ill and it's pure torture. All you want is to experience something else.

"Why is this burger sweet? It's a burger!"

"Well, we use Bear Jellies to create the perfect bun. It takes perfect temperature control and-"

"COME ON!"

✿ Eventually you visit other neighboring kingdoms, all of which have more of the same. Sweet berry juice, sweet vanilla tea, if you still had normal teeth you're positive they would've rotted out by now. But you bite your tongue, as though to not offend anyone. That is, until you visit the Dark Cacao Kingdom.

"I apologize Baker, I understand that our traditional food is rather...bitter. I can request something more palatable if it's not to your liking."

"I have been eating nothing but sugar for months, I will welcome any other flavor at this point."

✿ To everyone's surprise you actually enjoy the bitter food, since it's a nice chance of pace. Apparently sugar is an important part of a cookie's diet, so the fact that you both don't need it as much and can't consume large amounts of it is a surprise.

✿ You're a huge hit within the Mala Tribe if you have a high tolerance of spicy food. Where most cookies would perish by simply smelling their food you rival even the most spicy cookies when it comes to your meals. You might even invited to some events held at Scovillia because of the intense arrangement of food they have.

"Eh, are you sure you want to eat that much Baker? You're crying a lot."

"If it doesn't hurt it's not worth it!"
