@cobrakaiseries announced their 6th and Final Season. I think it is a great decision although I really wouldn’t want to see it go, wait….. The show maybe coming to an end but COBRA KAI NEVER DIES! Here’s a flashback to @fanexposf when I showed my chops and almost got recruited into Cobra Kai! But that also meant going toe to toe against Sensei Kreese (@martinkove) himself! He may look disappointed at that split in the first pic but you all know me! I did a Helicopter Kick in front of them and that was then Kreese said, “Cobra Kai is looking for people like you!” And then Johnny Lawrence (@william_zabka) tried getting me into Eagle Fang! But Eagles don’t ha- “QUIET!” Anyway, my childhood self couldn’t be any happier! Been watching Karate Kid for as long as I can remember! But seeing the show end is definitely going to be bittersweet indeed. Oh well. There were two major reasons that I could not miss going to HorrorHound this time.... This was one of those. The Karate Kid is in my top 5 favorite films of all time. I've watched it more than almost other film. I was always moved as a kid by the depth of Mr Miagi & Daniel's relationship, inspired by the message of standing up to every bully & never back down. With that being said, I'm pro heel & always root for the bad guy so if I would've been 16 in Reseda, I would've been Cobra Kai. Hell, I'm 40 now & I AM COBRA KAI. The new series is the best return to a franchise after so long in film history. I'm anxiously awaiting season 2!!!!! First photo is Johnny Lawrence himself, William Zabka & I. The middle photos are of Sensei Kreese himself, Martin Kove, telling Billy that I told him I cried at the end of the series when he reemerged. You can see me proudly saying that "YES I CRIED! I HAD NO IDEA YOU GUYS WERE BRINGING HIM BACK!" Lol He said that's the first time he's been told that. The third from last photo is Marty & myself, last two are the posters they signed for me. Marty hugged me before we took that photo, Sara clicked the photo & he looked at me square in the eyes & said.... "No mercy, Tony. No mercy." I replied with a nod, & not a single missed moment.... "YES, SENSEI." I'M FUCKING CRYING AGAIN. Thank you SO MUCH to @williamzabka & @martinkove p.s. I also told Billy how much I not only loved Johnny, but that I almost equally loved Greg Tolan. We both laughed & I went to the end of his merch table & told him I was gonna ask him to tip his merch table for me. He laughed & said, "If you come back at the end of the night I just might do that!" I lost it laughing & then the lady with him working said "NOOO NOOO NOOOOOO!" We laughed even harder.
