Gabriel didn’t just threaten to kill Felix, he actually attempted it.

With what we know now, putting the akuma in his ring was a death sentence.

If Felix hadn’t rejected the akuma then not only would Ladybug and Chat Noir have to break the ring but when they did they would have found both a feather and the akuma and WHO WANTS TO BET THEY WOULD HAVE HAD THE KNOWLEDGE TO NOT PURIFY BOTH.

Poor kid had to fight for his life, literally. We know how hard it is to reject the akumas but he didn’t have a choice, did he?

Also, consider this both proof that Gabriel was aware of this fact AND proof that Gabriel is just so so stupid..so stupid.

The imagery in this - Felix, my heart :( And the way it was all done in those white suits / masks, like they were blank sheets for others to draw upon.... When he finally takes off the mask and shows his true face, then faces the 'camera' directly and asks when why his father didn't love him, it's just so powerful. This was one of the most moving scenes they have ever done.

When I first saw this scene I was kind of wondering if Felix had some sort of senti-dossier cuz he recognized her ring, then I realized DUH, the peacock holder can sense an amok! And I just really like this "you're like me!" moment

Argos is the liberator of people from monsters in ancient Greek mythology. According to the classic version of the myth, Hera turned Argos into a peacock.

Argos (Felix), liberator of sentimonsters, or bad cousin? Or maybe both? Let’s look at it in more detail. Felix’s first appearance in Miraculous raised a barrage of questions. Who is Felix? It turned out to be Adrien’s cousin. Gloomy, mean, but at the same time strong, smart, dexterous.

Why did he need to mock Adrian like that? We got the answer, he was just jealous that Adrian had friends and freedom. But even his words that he would improve and become better, of course, did not convince me that his envy had passed and he had become better.

Here, I think, the process of his creation affects (he was created out of jealousy).

He steals from Gabriel one of the rings that Gabriel used to control Adrian. Why did he do that? Amelie asked Gabriel to return her family heirloom. For Felix, everything his loved one wants is the law! And he will definitely do everything for his mother.

In the episodes "Gabriel Agreste" and "Risk", Felix comes up with a plan to kidnap the miraculous peacock, which is vital to him. Felix appears in Adrian's room and offers to switch places with him, thereby doing Adrian a favor.

Taking advantage of Adrian's naivety, who doesn't even understand why Felix needed such an exchange, Felix steals a fake miraculous peacock.

The freedom promised to Adrian remained in question, since Felix, having achieved his goal, forgot about the exchange and went to his home.

What prevented Felix from not only not giving Gabriel the ring, but also taking the second ring from him in order to free Adrien from his father’s control? After all, exchanging the miraculous peacock for the rest of the talismans would have suited Gabriel quite well.

Who do we see in the episode "Emotion"? Unexpectedly loving cousin Felix or Argos - protector and liberator of sentimonsters?

I assume the second option, since Felix has not been able to prove himself a good cousin. But Argos really cares about his Senti brothers and sisters. Because he understands their sad fate and does everything possible to help any Sentimonster.

To summarize, I want to say that I do not believe in Felix’s sincere love for his cousin Adrien. Felix will always think of his own interests first, but is always ready to protect his own kind.

For those who believe that Felix cared for Adrien by dancing with Marinette and protecting her from the light of the red moon. Are you sure that he did this for Adrien?

The ML writers were really telling us Kagami is a senti and her amok is in her family ring (and having her mom go nuclear on Gabriel for putting an akuma in it) as if her first episode back in season 2 didn’t have her be akumatized with that exact ring and she was completely fine when it was broken.

Also there's something I can't stop thinking about in regards to Emotion and Pretention.

"My father was a thousand times worse," he tells Kagami. In what ways? Tomoe has been so strict on her daughter that she doesn't even feel she needs the magical ring to control her. She's trying to teach her that any emotion is a weakness, and force her into a relationship with someone who doesn't love her back, even though it hurts her. That's...already pretty bad.

And looking back at what Félix says in Emotion doesn't paint a pretty picture of his past. His response to Marinette saying everyone's looking at her like she's a monster?

"Look closer. They're the monsters."

His motive behind wanting to make a wish? To create "a better world, a free world. Where no one will be under anyone's control anymore, where no one will be excluded like I was!"

It sounds like, in addition to being controlled with his amok, he was excluded by other people because of it. Remember, the specific people he wants to be not under anyone's control anymore are Adrien and Kagami, likely also sentimonsters. Thus, we could rephrase his world to get "No sentimonster will be controlled or excluded the way I was."

People call him a monster a lot in the two episodes, actually. Kagami calls him one for making everyone she loved vanish. It gets turned around on Gabriel and "them all" by Amelie at the end of Emotion, similarly to Félix's response to Marinette earlier. In Pretention, he's called a monster repeatedly by Tomoe for getting in the way of her controlling her daughter. And by this episode, he's decided to tell Kagami not to use the word "sentimonster" anymore.

The readiness that he tells Marinette "No, they're the monsters," seems like it's a premade response. Or rather, perhaps something he's thought in response countless times before.

It all seems to me to suggest that in contrast to Adrien, who's controlled by an amok and doesn't know it, having no idea why he's acting against his own will; and Kagami, who's never really been controlled with the amok but does have one, Félix may be an example of a sentimonster who was controlled with his amok and knew it.

Imagine being told by your father to do something you don't want to do, but you know you have no choice because he can force you magically. Knowing you're not a human, but a "monster." Does he really not have many friends because of the way he acts, like Chat Noir suggested in his debut episode, or was it that he was excluded for being a sentimonster? Was Gabriel's sentimonster replica the first person to threaten him with "What would your poor mother do if you disappeared?" or did his father ever hold that over his head?

And yeah, that...does sound pretty bad.

Is Kagami a sentimonster? Like not only are Adrien and Félix sentimonsters, but KAGAMI is also supposed to be one?!?

Please correct me if I’m wrong (i REFUSE to watch the train wreck that is season 5 without commentary) but if it’s true then I’m starting to hate this sentimonster shit more and more.

It already took any agency Adrien would ever get as a character away, forcing Marinette or an external source to be the only way for Adrien to get away from his abusive father, but now they made Kagami one??

Yk what, why not make every character who has a ring a sentimonster? Let’s turn Luka into a sentimonster while we’re at it!

He already acts like a robot. When it comes to Marinette he is unbelievably nice to the point of being a doormat. Like c’mon, get angry, annoyed, cry, do something! I gotta stop b4 this becomes a Luka rant.

Or maybe he doesn’t count as a sentimonster because he actually has social skills…

Felix’s character is pretty much demolished now

I remember the end of S4 and how I was super hyped to have Felix as a rogue holder with an extreme selfishness but something about him getting with Kagami is so random and out of character to me?

They barely met and he literally kidnapped her…

For some reason I think I just had a super fanon idea of Felix in my head… one where he was super mature and didn’t care for human relation outside of his family - and especially wanted Gabriel’s downfall.

So why in the actual shit did he basically hand all the Miraculous to him?

If Felix’s main goal is to gain freedom for the Sentimonster’s (assuming the Kagami senti theory is true), why would he enable their abuser?

Felix was supposed to be a villain. They made him assault Marinette, get rid of the Miraculous, and lie and lie and lie. So why now are they getting him with Kagami and trying to make him likeable?

Choose one!

Also… on the topic of that theory. It is so fucking weird how they made Felix call the sentimonsters his siblings… if Kagami is a senti… and he’s dating her… *skull emoji*

Marinette is clearly hinting at sentibeings, in that exchange. It's also a dig at the way Gabriel sees people as tools rather than individuals with their own minds - and as inconveniences he can do away with as he pleases, to get what he wants.

But what really gets me is Gabriel's wording when he speaks to Nathalie, before the battle.

He says 'monstrous', in keeping with other times he's insisted he's 'not a monster'. This of course parallels with the term 'sentimonster', where Felix was called a monster over and over by his late father, and where Felix and his mother both call people like Gabriel the true monsters.

But more than that...Gabriel could have said, 'Do you really think I'd sacrifice someone...?' This feels more natural. But he specifies 'human being', which calls attention to the wording.

It implies that he'd have no trouble sacrificing someone he deemed not a human being. It recalls his threat to do away with Felix, in S4, and how he endangered Kagami in Perfection...though by the S5 finale, he's decided to keep her around because she's part of his insane plans.

If Felix had been on hand, I think Gabriel would have had no problem sacrificing him in exchange for Emilie, or his own health restored, or Nathalie's health. In a way, I think Gabriel saw Felix as a kind of tithe for his own personal mission - and by the time Marinette threw that line at him in the final battle, I think she was starting to see that, too.

I'm watching Riposte and the akuma went into Kagami's ring!

I realize it's possible that some things weren't all worked out re: senti stuff/rules at this point, but I think there might be an in-universe explanation, too.

We know at one point Felix's ring cracked and he's still here. Kagami's Riposte transformation was all merged together, like the sword was merged with her hand and she's armor all over, etc. Maybe it works more like damage in that case?

Or maybe it doesn't count when it's transformed? I can imagine that being the case.

It's interesting to think about, anyway.

Edit: Hold on, this ring doesn't look like her amok...

So she got it later? This is actually more interesting!!

So maybe Tomoe decided she was worthy of holding her amok sometime during the series?

Edit 2: She has it in Frozer, which is her next appearance according to the wiki!

news about miraculous ladybug english dubbing EZRA WEYSZ (CHLOE IS SENTISER?!)

Hello everyone, we're back with more MLB news!!!! in this case of season 6? It could be, it could be, but we haven't confirmed anything yet, let's take this information with a grain of salt.

but we are going to assume that it could be, because of the info and the possible clue that EZRA LEAVES US... BECAUSE YES!! IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THEY HAVE LEFT US AN IMPORTANT TRUE FOR THIS NEW SEASON!!! hahaha.

Let's analyze it, we see that this supposed recorded scene is in charge of Mela Lee (tikki) and Selah Victor (Chloe) until then everything is normal, but the fact is in how Ezra titles this post, he says: "I spent my day so far with these beautiful humans surprises to come!

Why does he mention the term "human"?...I could understand the case of Tikki's voice actor, since Tikki is clearly not human and Ezra in a fun way specifies, but he talks about THE 2, that is, the one who voices Chloe, and Chloe is human, isn't she?...could this mean that Chloe isn't human?

So if she's not human, what can she be? Well, if you have been paying attention to my posts, you will know that Chloe is an important character because through her we are told about Marinette and Kagami, and thus give more clues about what is to come in future seasons,

Who will become the next owner of the miraculous talismans “Black Cat” and “Lady Bug” and what will be his wish?

Undoubtedly, he will be the one who will not be on the side of good, those who are ready to commit meanness or betrayal towards the Ladybug, those who have nothing to lose in this world.

There is a clue in the new episode “MiraculousParis ”, but few people noticed it. So, who is he? One of the three senti monsters who will be in complete despair and so angry that he will sacrifice an innocent person to achieve his selfish goal.

I saw an older post about when Gabriel tried to akumatize Felix in s4 using the twin ring he stole: (picture bc why not)

The post was made when a big consensus was that one of the twin rings was Felix’s amok, and therefore put his life at risk choosing that as the akuma object, something he later did with Kagami in s5:

But with s5, we learned that Felix’s amok isn’t the twin ring, but that other ring he always wears. However- the twin rings (both) are Adrien’s amok, meaning Gabriel put his own son at risk by trying to akumatize him with it. (A conclusion many have already come to and have pointed out)

…or did he?

Because I’m kind of wondering how much danger Adrien would’ve been in if the akuma actually took, and subsequently be broken by the heroes. I don’t really think that Adrien’s feather would come out if that ring broke- there’s still the other ring. We saw in Crocoduel how about akuma object can be split and can only be released if put together again first, so why not for Amoks? If one of the rings broke, a feather probably wouldn’t even come out.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean Adrien would’ve been completely fine.

In Felix’s backstory, this happened:

His ring cracked (not broke), and he collapsed (passed out) instead of vanishing.

Since Adrien’s is a different format, being two rings, I can’t say I’m completely positive, but I think it wouldn’t be unreasonable to think that if only one of his rings broke, that he might collapse/pass out like Felix did when his amok was damaged.

So if one of the rings broke (but not the other), then maybe it would be the same as a single piece amok cracking, since it wasn’t completely broken, only partially.

If this is how it works, then if an akumatized Felix loses, and the ring breaks, the magic ladybugs would fix the ring and there’d be no lasting consequences to Adrien (minus the fact that it would cause him to collapse as Chat Noir, thus revealing his identity to Gabriel, but that’s a different concern lol). There’s also the fact that Felix’s ring is very much not cracked anymore (and I guess wasn’t when he finally got it off his father), it’s possible that it self heals somehow (seriously, I’d love to know how the cracks got fixed).

To conclude: Gabriel still put his son at risk by picking the twin ring as the akuma, but probably didn’t think there was any major concern of actually killing Adrien.

(Though I guess I could be wrong about no feather coming out if just one broke because multiple feathers did need to get purified in Megaleech, but that was because of the object being multiplied, not an object with multiple parts, so I’m gonna assume for now that it’s just one feather total for the two rings.)
