“Nope.” You answered, ruffling your damp hair.

“Me neither.” He smirked, making you chuck your towel at him, which he caught as he laughed, coming to stand in front of you.

“I just know that I do.” He cupped your face gently, voice turning low and soft as he spoke. “I don’t know where or when it happened exactly, I just know that I do."

"where are you off to in such a hurry?" the owner of the sleepy, dreamy voice encircles your wrist with his fingers, and you glance towards the man buried in the pillow with a soft smile.

"i'm in no hurry, i'm getting up. and it wouldn't hurt if you did as well." with your free hand you untangle the other's comforting fingertips from your skin.

as a response, seokjin merely yawns, creeping closer to you, his spouse, under the blanket as clear evidence that he won't take the advice.

he folds his arms around your bare waist, pulling you back onto the pillow with him, and you shake with gentle laughter and allow him to force you into the duvet of your bed.

"are you satisfied now?" you nudge his shoulder, a playful edge in your voice, as his soft lips touch yours.

"i couldn't be happier. you're lying in my bed completely naked, and i've even ringed you. life is good."

you laugh, bury yourself in his embrace, the nice, warm, flushed body heat, and close your eyes, stroking seokjin's side.

life is good indeed.

“Love, you’re hogging all the blankets again.” You complained, shivering slightly.

“I am not.” Jin defended, “You’re the one who’s a mile away on the bed. You’re right on the edge. No wonder there’s not a lot of blanket left for you, the invisible person in the middle of the bed is the real one hogging it.”

“But I’m cold.” You said, turning the other way so you were facing Jin. “We need to buy more blankets, someone won’t share with me.”

“Someone won’t snuggle with me.” He backfired, though you were both seconds away from bursting out laughing. He was the first to break, of course.

His giggles were more than enough to trigger your own, the quarrel over blankets quickly being forgotten by both of you.

“Come here if you’re cold.” He said, opening his arms wide. You pretended to hesitate for a second just to tease him. He pouted, “Please? I’m cold too.”

You smiled, scooting over to him and letting him wrap his arms around you tightly.

“We should have done this in the first place.” You whispered. Now that you were closer to him, you had the perfect opportunity to plant butterfly kisses on his cheeks, making him smile widely. 

“We should sleep, it’s late.”

“But I’m busy kissing you.” 

“You’re not kissing the right spot, love.” He said, puckering up his lips so you couldn’t possibly be confused as to where he wanted you to kiss him.

You gave in, pressing your lips to his quickly. He wrapped the blanket around you both tighter, resting his head on the pillow next to you and staring at you lovingly.

“Now we can go to sleep.” He whispered.

The bags under Jin’s eyes were heavy and he couldn’t find it in himself to cry anymore.

“I’m sorry” your words were hardly intelligible as you choked through sobs, “I’m sorry for asking.”

Guilt gnawed at his heart as he blinked away his own tears. “Don’t apologize, it’s no one’s fault.”

“I’m sorry” you gasped, choking and gagging through sobs that you were sure sounded disgusting, but couldn’t bring yourself to pull together.

“Please, it’s too much.” He exhaled, shaky as he tried to tear his gaze away from the breakdown before him.

Here you came again, an emotional hurricane in full force today. He wasn’t sure if you meant to pull him into your storm like this, but you did. You always did. Before weathering it hadn’t been a thought, he always did for you. He loved you; so much. You were his everything, his world, but now you were dulling his own. It’s tempting to drop to the floor with you, sharing the feeling of hard tile on his body as he consoled the inconsolable. But it's so tiring on him and his own feelings. Your baggage became his overnight, and it was far too heavy to carry with his own.

To be a fly on the wall watching the crumbling mess that was your relationship would be interesting, in his opinion. So much emotional giving on his part, so much guilt and panic on your own. He was surprised the snap hadn’t happened sooner.

“Jin please, I won't ask again- I’m sorry for asking for help, I won't again.” Your face was red and blocky, tears slick against your cheeks, and sweat stuck the hair to your forehead. “I know I’m too much, I’m sorry.”

“No” Jin’s voice breaks, “no I just can’t, you just need help and I can’t be the one to give it to you.” You nod, sucking in a breath as you feel his hands lift your face up. Your emotions were a part of him as much as his were to you. Your relationship had always blended them in such a way that made support so easy, but now something was happening. Jin wasn’t sure what, but he was tired, sad, and worried all the time. Such a weight among other pressures was starting to hurt, his chest was always tight. “We both need time apart” he smiles, tears rolling down the curse of his cheek and lip. “To make things okay, so we can be okay together.”

You nodded, sniffling as he held your hands in his. “I love you.”

Jin smiles but it comes out a choked back sob. “I love you too. It’ll be okay again, we’ll be okay again.”

Jin: Doesn't really need sleep since he's a vampire, but when he does, it's neatly tucked in bed or literally hanging upside-down from the clothes rack in the closet. Will get bored after a couple hours and accidentally wake you up playing video games.

7/10 just keep the yelling to a minimum pls

Yoongi: Sleeps in 45 min - 2 hour increments(hello neurodivergence), accidentally wakes you up everytime he gets up and flops on top of you when he comes back. Doesn't snore that much, but when he does, it's right by your ear.

6/10 exactly like sharing a bed with a cat

Hobi: Doesn't sleep, he's too busy working on 5 thousand different projects. If you do manage to pin him down to sleep, it's in weirdest positions. He also kicks in his sleep.

6/10 for risk of bodily harm

Namjoon: Claims he's not a cuddler, then catches you in vice grip that you can never escape. Gets annoyed if you make any sound during the night, even though his snoring sounds like an angry buzz saw.

5/10 might sleep in a different room tbh

Jimin: Sleeps curled into a ball like a cat. Either hoards all the blankets or will share but then sleeps practically on top of you for warmth. Sounds like Spongebob when he snores.

8/10 honestly not that bad imo

Taehyung: Overwhelmingly warm and cuddly. Like this is not a teddy bear, this is a grizzly in hibernation who insists on spooning. He also supposedly talks in his sleep? So good luck with that.

6/10 for heat stroke risk

Jungkook: Sleeps spread eagle over 3 mattresses on the floor, so there's technically plenty of space, but there's no sheets or pillows, so you're using your coat and a rolled up towel. He also snores. And kicks.
