To the unnamed op who asked me what brush I was using:they're actually all Kyle's brushes, you can download them from Adobe's website! Sorry I accidentally deleted the original answer. My mistake. I'm not quite familiar with Tumblr yet, or well obviously with grammar. ( ´•ω•̥`)

Yes I'm still unhinged about nov 5 and destiel
I've also realized my love for Sevenwood is kind of a redux of Destiel and you know what?
I'm ok with that

Hey guys. How's it going? I'm back with a very interesting review for you. It's the Jura Seven Wood. The interesting part comes from the fact that this whisky is matured in a combination of seven different types of oak – first bourbon and then a finish in each of Vosges, Jupilles, Les Bertranges, Allier, Tronçais, and Limousin casks. The result is a very interesting profile, check out my review below. . Nose: Nutmeg, chocolate nuts and raisins. Red fruit jam (like strawberry) and malt. Candied fruit and a hint of mint. . Palate: Rich coffee and creamy chocolate then spicy with cinnamon and pepper. Oaky with tropical fruit and lemon zest with just a hint of smoke at the end. . Finish: Medium to long with vanilla and mint chocolate, creamy coffee and light smoke at the end. . As you can see we end up with a nice combination of spicy combined with chocolate and fruit, thanks to wide range of flavours from the casks. . What do you guys think about this one? 🙂 Have you tried it already? In not, stay tuned because I will be giving away one bottle of this Jura Seven Wood soon! 🥃🥃🥃🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. . Cheers guys and have a great weekend, I know I will, I'm still in wonderful Crete enjoying the sun!🇬🇷🌞😄🥃✨🥃. . #scottishwhisky #whisky #jura #jurawhisky #sevenwood #jurasevenwood #whiskey #scotch #firewaterxo #scotchwhisky #whiskyporn #whiskygram #whiskybar #bottle # drinks #scotland #saturday #saturdaynight #weekend #weekendvibes #spirits #summerishere #summerlove #midsummer #whiskyparty #cheers #romamia #cluj #greece #crete #creteisland (at Enorme Lifestyle Beach) https://www.instagram.com/p/B0tMlf1HJtI/?igshid=1cy2j6k321ie1

The problem with having four stories ongoing at once is realizing you have a Type of figurative language for your magic bullshit and having to tweak so all the magics don’t look and feel the same.

Released in early 2018 as part of the revised Jura core range, entitled Signature Series. Matured in a combination of seven different types of oak woods: first American white oak ex-bourbon followed by six other French oaks: Vosges, Bertranges, Jupilles, Allier, Tronçais and Limousin barrels. Bottled at 43%. Nose: An aromatic fusion of coffee, ginger spice and a hint of milk chocolate. Palate: Caramelised peach, chewy liquorice and candied orange with a hint of sea-spray and smoke. Finish: A hint of sea-spray and smoke. #jura #sevenwood #singlemalt #scotchwhisky #alkobaron #alcobaronofficial https://www.instagram.com/p/B6BpjHJBQJM/?igshid=xkohd3ckx5yb

Hmm for those dnd questions answer 4, 15, 22, and 46. ^^
Gladly!
4. What has been your favorite d&d character you’ve played? (NPCs count for DMs)
now. i don't like playing favorites. and i love Millie and Kuris very much. but my favorite player character has got to be SANCTUM. i first played them before i even started with dnd and later ported them to 5e by using the warforged template from Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron, except... SANCTUM had a centaurean design, so we just made them LARGE (back in wayfinder's, Juggernaut Warforged had the Powerful Build feature, so it seemed natural). we, ehm, soon after learned why playable races in DnD are never large by default when we tried to play a oneshot set in a train '^^
15. Do you prefer to DM or play?
very tough question. i love both, and at the same time i have issues with either '^^ the two campaigns i currently play in i enjoy a whole lot, but it's always nice for me to switch it up and direct a oneshot or develop my own homebrews. i honestly don't know if i have what it takes to direct a full campaign, and i respect the heck out of my DMs.
22. Write a brief scene centered around one of your characters!
Millie couldn't sleep. She never had, and probably never would. She had read about it, though. While her body needed to rest and recuperate, her mind was sharp and clear, and her eyes peered through the darkness of the Sevenwoods, where the Red Six rested for the night. Aelar, her elven companion, stood watch, hidden amongst the deeper shade of the trees, only recognizable because she knew where she had to look for him. He held watch, his eyes piercing the darkness, his ears keen on every subtle sound from the forest. He never slept either, not really. 'Trance', the elves call it. Not as much sleep as it is meditation, replaying the day's events to commit them to memory, or so she had read about it. The rest of the group of adventurers slept more or less deeply - some lightly, perturbed by the state of the forest they were in, some deeply, almost without fear or without care, as long as their companions were nearby. Millie envied them, a little. Although she had experienced what dreams were like, the ones that she'd experienced were almost always prophetic or nightmarish attempts at communication from powerful entities, interested in the destinies her group found themselves entangled in. They were nothing like the dreams she'd heard and read of, and she did not enjoy them. Also, they did not entail the gentle rest and unconsciousness of sleep. And yet, something in her... remembered the sensation of sleeping. Even though her consciousness never paused, never stilled, some part of her distantly yearned for rest, mourned it like a pet she lost as a child. There was no peace to be gained from dwelling on that thought. She closed her illusionary eyelids, and in her imagination, rehearsed her spells.
46. What is the longest battle you’ve fought or run?
if we count non-dnd ttrpg stuff that would be SANCTUM's first session: towards the end, we fought a god-summoning cultist and consequently the god they summoned, which took about 5 hours for the fight alone, if i recall correctly! boy, that was a session. in terms of dnd only, the longest fight i ever ran took three hours because i neglected to assemble the encounter or even look up the enemies beforehand... '^^ the longest one i've ever been in (if i remember it correctly) was a recent fight against a fungus titan that lasted 7 rounds (and took about 2.5 hours) (as well as most of my spellslots xD)

Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: Mystic Messenger Rating: Explicit Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Sevenwood Characters: Vanderwood, Luciel Choi Summary: Vanderwood and Seven are on a mission staking out a place. They've been stuck under a truck for hours and nobody has come back or come out of the building so Seven has the bright idea to have a quickie right then and there. Vanderwood is having none of it but Seven always finds ways to convince them to break a few rules...
Note:  As the tags suggest Vanderwood is afab (assigned female at birth) in this and I usually write them going by They/Them or He/Him interchangeably. I HC they're trans/nonbinary, they got on T and had top surgery as soon as they joined the agency.

Me, two years ago when I dreamed about dead people and made a story with god-like concept embodiments: “Duh, I’m not touching creation deities, though.”
Me now: “So Lottie’s going to slam-dunk God.”

how about just, 1-10 of the writer's ask meme?
1: what are you currently working on?
Currently back and forth between three stories, but main focus is my Over Here books. Backburner stories are Obnoxious and Sevenwood Station, two stories that aren’t even certain if they want to be books right now.
2: summarize your current project
Cass Douglas cut off from the magic of her dad’s myths and stories a long time ago. Who told that magic it could come clawing back? With the reappearance of a hole in her memory and a very odd bird, apparently magic hasn’t finished with Cass. Time to find the exit from a world of sky spirits, live wiring, shapeshifters, possessing parasites, and all manner of etcetera.
3: summarize your current project poorly
Local bird ruins everything, says angry gremlin with second thoughts.
4: describe your favorite character or characters
Ehhh, I’ve been thinking about Syle more often of late. They’re not terribly important to the first book, but down the line they come in handy for conclusions they make about the gwyll/aforementioned parasites. They’re a human from Earth who’s taken to studying magical science and set far more on fire than a biologist should be able to, also pragmatic to a fault for someone who sets impossible fires and lives in a magical world.
5: post a line from your current project without any context
“No, you’re too loose. I mean, I understand. But it’s just got to be loose in a more precise way.” He nudges her cupped hands just a millimeter, to where her hands mimic the karate chop sort of pose he’d had. “Just don’t hold it too tight.”
“This is dumb,” Cass mutters, and follows the movement. Her wall’s still too thin, even if it’s more steady. “I have fire. That’s like having a shield.”
“And you’re in the woods constantly,” Finch says, deadpan. “Not my place to say what inclinations are good and which aren’t but it’s not exactly the safest ‘apply all’ solution, is it?”
6: how do you get through writers block?
Sometimes just giving a story room to breathe or consuming more art. If those fail, I clean or head to work and just play with AUs or whatever ideas show up.
7: would you want to live in the world of your current work?
Yes. Next question.
8: briefly discuss your outlining process, if you outline
Outlining’s different for each story, but OH is done chapter by chapter with snippets of ideas for each. Meanwhile, Obnoxious got a plot outline from me playing with a track list if it were a musical. Sevenwood Station has zero outline whatsoever, so. All different.
9: what is the aesthetic of your current project
Over Here’s a solarpunk magical world playing with some Jazz Age styles, while Obnoxious is Pacific Northwest ‘late to the party’ mid-late 80s/early 90s and Sevenwood Station’s sort of a mishmash of all the eras the cast comes from.
10: what song sums up your current work the best?
Going to do book by book, but Over Here has Riptide by Vance Joy since it’s just fit even after years, Over There has Good For You from Dear Evan Hansen because I love consequences, and the third book is anywhere from the Shiny Demo for Moana and Broken Crown by Mumford and Sons. I like music.

3, 17 and 18 for Lottie?
Scars or painful spots
Technically no real scars, but their back tends to be sensitive so don’t try sticking your hand right where all their arms meet. It might be a moment of flailing before they try to hit you but you’ll have to deal with them going ‘eh’ for a solid two seconds so you have a head start. But also maybe just don’t touch them, it’s not a good idea and they don’t have many other weak/painful spots.
Regrets
Maybe letting their relationship with Morrill get so bad or cutting themselves off from others in general, but on the surface they’re not aware of it.
Things they’ll never admit
Their mischief in the living world or their connections that get them there, since they’re no snitch unless it means they get to gloat about the fun they have. That time they tried to smoke and any reservations about being the way they are fall under the more embarrassing or revealing things, though.

6, 7 and 9 for Em and the birb or Roger :3
I’m going for all three, honestly. Thanks for the ask, jumps!
6. An element.
Em’s water, Winston and Roger are both probably air?
7. A color.
Like a light purple for Em, gold for the bird boyo, and electric blue for Roger.
9. A weapon.
Ooooh, noice. Em might be a bow and arrow sort of gal, something sort of flashy and performative that can do more damage from a distance. Winston’s always been a staffs sort of guy to me, more for deflecting attacks or manipulating magic than actually doing any real harm. Essentially a long branch worn down with years of use and whapping people’s strikes away. For Roger- well, technically he has to learn how to use a god rod in-story, but I honestly picture him with just a baseball bat.

1, 4, 12, 24, 28, 34? :)
1. Your first OC ever?
Oh gosh, probably the namesake of my url Morpheus just because she was one of the first I seriously got to writing about. She was a human shifter with some mind control going on who I’d still like to work with one day, but not after a lot of rehaul.
4. A character you rarely talk about
Hmm, I certainly don’t talk much about some of my old OC’s from Em’s original story or a number of the wardens- definitely none of the backstory characters I’ve made for Ellis’s history in OH, either. Specific favorite I’ve been on has been the line of queens who used to rule Ellis up until about eighty years ago when the curtain rises. Badass lady types run the world, bruh.
12. Name an OC that isn’t yours but who you like a lot
Ehehe, I do love Kro and Fi of @jumpy-pale-leaf‘s Papercut. They’ve got a fun dynamic going I can certainly jive with. Same goes for @mairzydotes and... just about every character in they’ve got going, but especially their baddies Turquoise and Foxfire.
24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?
Winston, because I need to give my idiot bird a hug. Maybe Lottie too because I need their brand of ‘eight hands mean eight middle fingers’ confidence in my life.
28. Your most dangerous OC?
The eight literal gods of Sevenwood for SS, to be honest.
34. Do you have any twin characters?
Technically a pair of kids in OH are close enough in age to be twins? Not really, but they’re named Marcy and Mason and are very adorable in their response to being kidnapped. Otherwise, do fragmented gwyll count?
