literally down to the last three hours of 2018 and i’m only doing this now teehee!! anyway, this post is for my mutuals whom i’ve had a great time interacting with this year, and for making the past two months (because i only started talking to people in the past two months OOPS) some of the best times of my life

also if any of you ever want to talk to your mutuals but feel scared to do so, send a mass message to all our mutuals to celebrate a holiday, and a few days later send them a post that they made and talk about it and soon enough yall will keep talking #hackz

@park-sungshine: fffffff amanda............ you’re one of the main reasons why i love day6 and sungjin so much and it’s because we keep having these conversations about sungjin where we lose all of our cells in one go, recharge them for eight hours before coming back to lose them all again - also we’ve been talking about sungjin non-stop for a solid MONTH and if we keep this up we won’t be able to talk anymore because we’re losing more cells than we can make..... but thank you so much for making the last month of 2018 the best one i’ve ever had, and just chatting about us being zungjin ztanz and him being a zod brought about so much fun and let’s keep this up even in 2019!! 

@dorks6: rainy!!!!!!!!! although we haven’t talked much, but i will never and i mean NEVER forget the morning i woke up to receive a message from you with the words “someone asked for The Gaze?” and i’ve never been the same ever again :’) thank you for all the gifs you’ve made, to which i’ll be scouring through to send them back to you to yell about how affected i am by all these gifs and the fact that they will forever remain on the internet for everyone to see and even when i have children they’ll see those gifs and look at sungjin’s gaze and wonder why their mother is a crackhead but that’s perfectly fine!!!!! your gifs have opened up so many opportunities for me to talk to others and it’s a shame that i haven’t talked to you just yet but new year new me right? thank you for 2018!!

@daystring6: the first ever day6 tumblr i sent multiple asks to gushing about a fic and even up to this day it’s all just seafoam and brine GETS ME SO HARD and i find myself coiling into a ball and wondering why i feel this way about a fic but it’s just so!!!! good!!!!! thank you for bringing this fic to us because it’s still a fic i think about till this day, and it gave me hope that things can end happily which definitely helped in stressful 2018, so thank you so much!!

@mydays: the biggest mystery of 2018 is “how is it that we’ve been mutuals for so long but always never interacting” :^) but lola your posts about day6 always give me life and i find myself clenching my fist and going “YES PREACH” at all your posts, and also slowly melting into a puddle everytime you post a selfie like god................. anyway!! i hope that the biggest mystery of 2018 doesn’t become the biggest mystery of 2019 and when i see your posts i’ll send them to you and be like YES PREACH rather than yelling that to myself quietly in the middle of the night so i don’t wake anyone up!! happy 2019!!

Jaeminhours & nothaechan are known for their angsty fics but they often write for dream. Valentinesicheng's stories are cute imo. For kacchand, i rlly love her mark & yukhei fics. Jaeminlore's prince au fics are 💯 & i found great taeyong fics in taeyongtime. It's been a while since i last read scriptura-delirus & tyongu's fics but i rmb loving every of their fics. And omg stormae.... her fics are phenomenal!! U should her yukhei fic called chiascuoro(?). So yeah... hope this helps heh -sg myday

Ok so i've heard congratulations since their debut but it wasn't until that one time they appear on weekly idol with n.flying that i started taking more notice on day6. Ngl tho i got attracted by the medley and how distinct they sound (and they're also pretty funny too XD) so i search for more medleys before listening to their songs... and let's just say day6 has been on my playlist ever since :) tbh day6 sparks my love for bands so i listen to other bands like hyukoh & se so neon haha -sg myday

Wow so in a way, you’ve really been here since debut, which is a good 4 years with day6! that weekly idol episode was a MESS but the boys tried their best and did bring some laughter to the show, esp leader and our dear bassist XD 

that’s so heartwarming to hear! :’) it’s such testimonials that really prove that day6 is at the forefront of the Korean band scene, helping to shed more light on K-bands out there. the boys would be happy to hear this :)

OMG WOW this is such a comprehensive list!!! i’ve followed all of them now and i’ll be sure to check out their fics ^^cos honestly i read anything from multi-chaptered fic to blurbs. 

is there any particular fics from these writers / nct fic authors in general that you think i should read? i read more of the hyung line and less of dream cos they’re so young so i don’t see them in that way HAHA (esp chenji i’m so sorry my sweet babies)

how's the talks previously? it makes me more confused tbh coz most mods sound cool and i wanna try them all hahah. but dang, my body wasn't used to going out so it kinda aches the next day lol. btw i've been watching day6 perf while writing and ngl tho, my eyes are wet as i imagined myself in their concert. it sucks when i couldn't go for nct 127, sam kim and epik high so i really wish day6 to be my 1st concert exp :')) btw, i didn't get to know how you started stanning day6 heheh -sg myday

i have the exact same thoughts as you with regards to the talks. it’s harder to choose which modules to do because i’m now considering social work and eng lit modules when previously before the talks i would have never even thought of them. i also want to learn korean under CELC... and this is on top of the psych, soci, hist and SEA studies modules that i want to take /.\ the reality is that i simply do not have that many UEs or time to spare attempting all the modules i want so i really have to pick and choose. (but honestly this sucks because i really really want to use my last chance in uni to do all the things i have never done before sigh >

ah i started stanning day6 because of their soundtrack series! my friend was playing a playlist of their soundtrack songs and the “bad boy” cover stood out to me so much because it was so different from big bang’s style, but it sounded so soulful and still as heartwrenching :’) and right around that time, day6 announced the everyday6 project so i decided to check out i wait. 

and i’ve never looked back since. 

jae’s “a-wae” pulled me in, wonpil’s pre-chorus got me curious and when sungjin started the chorus with his powerful voice, i decided “this is it. i am going to pay attention to them more.” and with the everyday6 project i got the chance to fall in love with them more and more, and i’ve been a myday for the past 3 years now :’) what about you? i’m quite sure i don’t know about how you became a myday too! ^^

OMG JUST HAD MY 1ST LISTEN TO THE ALBUM!! ALL THE SONGS ARE SO GOOD WTF!! but if i have to rank them, it'll probably be cover, followed by best part then how to love and uhhh.... ok it's pretty hard to rank them all hahah😂😂 what can i say? there's no bad songs in the album and i don't think there will be in their discography, whether in the past or the future :D -sg myday

how to love is so adorable gosh TT i want to go read the translations now to find out what all of them are singing about in each song!! and you’re absolutely right; trust and listen to day6! they really never let us down, waiting 7 months for these new songs was very well worth the wait :’)

yeaa it's truly a healing time for me. honestly i would go back thr again if i have the chance again. and thank you for your wishes!! the kids got me some exercise books heheh. i think they didn't know that the birthday girl is actually 10 years older than them hahah. it's still a sweet gesture nevertheless :)) OMG THE AMUSEMENT PARK!! istg my adrenaline was high that day and i couldn't stop myself from trying out every single ride!! ugh i miss those times already ;')) -sg myday

i think these small moments of happiness are what makes life worth living! i am really so happy that you managed to spend a few enjoyable days just being carefree and happy :D hopefully the future will be as kind to you! when you go back there again, and if i manage to know you personally by then, i’m going to ask for photos of the place because i absolutely love seeing photos of people’s travels HEH XD

Time of our life is truly that MV that can be played again and again, the energy is so infectious you just want to keep playing this feel-good, happy song! ^^ have you listened to the rest of the album? it’s on spotify already! my current fave is wanna go back, followed by for me then how to love. but then again, all the songs are good so it’s going to be really hard ranking the rest of the songs for myself HAHA
