It was one of the hottest and sunniest day in the UK. We have provided wedding photography and videography service to this warm, loving Hong Kong bride and groom in Leeds. It was an outdoor wedding at the bandstand with almost seamless greenery in the background. Sunlight made all the different with the look of the photos and videos. It made them look fresh and bright. We love how these came out refreshing with modern look. After the wedding ceremony, traditional tea ceremony gave respect elder parents done, we moved into indoor banquet place were we can see the lovely DIY wedding cake and colourful desserts. Their parents own Chinese take aways for decades. Here is Castellammare del Golfo, a lovely seaside town located one hour away from Palermo, Sicily. It is an attractive seaside historical town. We came to this beautiful town to provide our pre-wedding photography, videography and bridal & hair makeup service for Singaporean bride to be and groom to be on a warm sunny day. http://www.foreverlovejourney.com/ The couple's family actually lives there, so they wanted to capture some memory to show their parents before their wedding day in Singapore. It is good to have low soft light in the shots, as this avoid harsh shadow on the subjects, especially when it comes to the look the couple wants to achieve. We were planning for a 6 hour shoot with the couple, we ended up provided 4 hours service, the weather on the sea. It was windy and not too suitable for boat trip. We have also done an interview with the couple when we were on the boat. It makes the video looks more alive with love story. The lovely bride-to-be had contacted with us nearly 4 years ago for getting married in Gothenburg, Sweden. The wedding was cancelled because of covid pandemic. Earlier this year, the couple reached out to us for their wedding this year Summer again.

On the prewedding shoot day, we have started our job very early in the morning at 4.30am to help the bride-to-be for her hair styling and makeup. It is because we want to avoid the extreme heat. That day, the temperature reached 40°. We started feeling the heat after the shoot in Windsor town, Southeast, England and took some photos and film video clips around the castle and some beautiful spots in the town.

After that, we travelled to Mayfield Lavender Farm, Banstead in Surrey. The couple said they love the colour of Lavender. The couple has changed their outfit and we touched up the bride-to-be's makeup. The Lavender Farm photo and video shoot looked more fun than the romantic Windsor town's one. Lavender field in Surrey is one of the most popular spots for couples who love countryside. It located between Croydon and Sutton in Greater London. Because of its popularity, the farm has to set up photography permit for protecting the farm.

Lastly, we went to Isabella plantation in Richmond Park, also had a look at The Thames by a terrace garden nearby. The couple has changed into two other outfit here. We were actually a bit tired because of the hot weather but we done our shoots like how we imagined. One of the reasons is the couple was easy to work with. They took instructions quite well. The result looked very good with some refreshing photos and video film around the park. The couple said they particularly love the drone shots.

Here is Lake Como in Northern Italy, a place famous for movies, luxury mansions and weddings. We were here because of taking pre-wedding photos and film video clips for this lovely Hong Kong couple. This is our fifth time in Italy, but never get bored as this country has so much to give - great food and wine, friendly hospitality, beautiful picturesque places, leisure and style. We have done the shoot in Bellagio, where the mesmerising charm have given us so dramatic, romantic and fun shoot with the couple. We have started our preparation around 3 am in the morning with professional Chinese style hair makeup for the bride to be and grooming for the groom to be. Our first stop was the long pebble stair in the town. http://www.ukchineseweddingphotography.com Then we drove to a nearby town where we found a small chapel with a cliff at the side. The bride to be get changed into a white dress. We helped her to get ready for the coming surprise! After taking some shots by the chapel, we drove to a waterfall, where people can get to see it closely by boat. The waterfall is surrounded by colourful residential houses. After that, we went back to Bellagio for some shots along the coast of the lake. The mist has gone, but the clouds still hanging low on mountains. All the locations were picked according to the couples' personalities. If they are special for our couples, they are special for us. Then we look for picturesque places (Google Earth is quite useful for this) and plan the route according to sunrise or sunset time and also outfits. Is it an outdoor venue? A church? A hotel banqueting hall? A marquee? A restaurant? A pub? A castle?

Flowers would still be the first choice for couples when decorating venues, however, if you want to have the same theme and look for your ceremony and banquet, you may want to use artificial flowers, ribbons, etc which could be recycled. Be aware of regulations and keep them clean when possible.

We believe all the hair and makeup artists are already taking the safety measures and ready to serve. For us, we would sanitise all the brushes and tools each time we finish a set of hair and makeup. Before carrying out the service, we would wear face cover and sanitise our hands.
