The problem is that Candice IS more like Iris than not. Just like a lot of Barry comes from Grant a lot of Iris comes from Candice. Candice tweeted multiple times that she didn’t wear a bonnet at night. So I don’t see her advocating for that on the show before fans were vocal about it (and she agreed).

I was on my way to a shift at 5am on a Sunday, which is I think what may have saved my life. If there had been any other cars on the road it would have been a devastating multi-car pile-up.

So I was driving on a two lane road (dual carriageway in the UK), and my front axel snapped in two. My driver side wheel and half the axel disappeared at 70mph. I managed to brace my head and neck as the car spun, rolled and flipped out across the road.

I've never even had a fender bender before this!

Walked away with bruises. I was 24 weeks pregnant at the time and we were incredibly both fine.

Police analysis showed nothing in the road, no skid marks, and my car had passed its yearly service and MOT only 2 weeks before.

Wild right?!

Anyway nearly died, didn't die, happy days.

11:00pm on the dot. Listening to Love me Jeje by Tems. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Tems. Musically, feminine-ly, Artistically, Spiritually, Culturally. As in. In ALL the ways. I have bug bites and a mildly sore hickey on my neck. Love bites and Bug bites are the mood right meow. LIFE IS GOØD. Differences by Ginuwine just played and I remembered how my life changed from this music video. 90’s babies deserve a free Ginuwine concert as reparations for causing a sexual awakening at a young age. I had a cool weekend. I went to see Munene’s mom on Friday. I was a bit nervous at first which is wild because I have known her my whole life. She is my "Aunty". I was validly nervous though, like before her son was my bestie. Now he is going to be my husband. Different dynamics but all Love still. It was a lovely visit. She cooked for me, we spent quality time, and we chatted. I saw how much the neighborhood had changed. I’ve been going there my whole life and it still felt like home and she still felt like home. I Love that for all of us. Munene met me there at his childhood home and then his sister came home. It truly felt like a family affair. I am so glad that my in-laws to be are people I know and Love. We left at like 11pm and went to a club called Soho. It was cute, the music was very Afro-house/techno which wasn't my vibe at all, then it changed to Afrobeat, Kenyan music and old skool. I was in my element. We danced, sang, and laughed. I serenaded Munene with Love me Jeje by the one and only Tems. We left at 4am and got home after 5am. Then we had a slow very us-like weekend. I worked on an Art piece for the crow exhibit. Shanaynay sent me a scan of the Art piece, I printed it then I drew my part on it. On Sunday into Monday, we didn't sleep all night because we were chilling, vibing and because we slept for 15 hrs on Saturday. Soo, we stayed up all night, I finished the Art, we took it to the scan shop early in the AM on Monday, and I sent it to Chanel. Then we went home, made breakfast, chilled then I slept for a few hours. Munene had work/business/tenders to deal with. I’ve seen some rapper chics say they can’t be with a 9-5 guy. Neither can I. It’s not about the money, it's about time. I Love hanging out with my man at unusual hours and I Love the fact that he can see me when he or I want. Like, its peak. Anyway, that was the vibe. I got home last night at like 8pm. A few minutes before Lois Nyeera. Weuh. But I was just on time. I was pretty tired, so I slept earlier than I expected. I slept in today, did some admin for the Gøod projxct, then Kendi and I went to McFry’s for some chicken and chips bc yummm. Then I booked a hair retie appointment, did some banking, bought snacks and came home. That's it. When I was in the club on Friday, I heard a song that reminded me of Rufi and I felt sad. Munene suggested that I text her, so I did. And we texted a little bit back and forth. I dunno fam, I am grateful for the time and space we had from our 13 yr friendship. There is a reason we had a break. I have grown and changed so much since then. I needed the space to come into my own. I am curious to see where things go. It is interesting how in the last post, I was saying how I am aware/ feeling the amazingness of being alive. Like this little life of mine is profound. And this realization brings me joy, peace, clarity, hope, faith. What a wonderful world eh?
