The night of December 28 witnessed a poignant moment as Thalapathy Vijay, one of Tamil cinema's leading actors, visited the DMDK office to pay his last respects to Vijayakanth. The emotional encounter saw Vijay express his condolences to Vijayakanth's wife, Premalatha, and his two sons, Vijaya Prabhakaran and Shanmuga Pandian.
