#repost :: Last week marked 1 yr of traveling the world making short documentaries for @betterworlded . I’m having the time of my life. Here’s a video album of behind-the-scenes of the creation process of making these Better World Ed “empathy challenges”— videos that give an inside look at the daily life of a remarkable human somewhere on the globe while celebrating their lives, learning about new places, and striving to make viewers more curious to get to know, see, understand, and relate to their fellow humans. These BTS are from my first overseas trip as a BWE contributor — in Guatemala exactly this time last year. Also mixed in some BTS from my first BWE project about blues legend, Mac Arnold, captured in my home state, South Carolina. I joined Avon 20 years ago because of our big dreams and goals. I knew then that my 9 to 5 job was not going to get us to where we wanted to be. I took a big chance and it paid off big.
