This is the entire description, personality, and information on Infernix. It’s long as heck so be warned. Seriously, it’s freakin long. It’s mostly here for my own reference when writing her character or commissioning stuff, but feel free to read if reading about other people’s OCs is your thing <3

Habits

Has retained many habits from her time spent as a phoenix. She will spend a lot of time “preening” her hair, she makes clicking noises with her tongue when she is happy, she feels awkward about how to position her hands so she usually keeps them against her chest when standing, and she will make bird-like squawks or chirps when startled or curious. Oh and she hisses (like a swan) when angry.

Strengths/Weaknesses

Strengths: Intelligent, fast healing, able to shapeshift into a phoenix which grants her flight, temporary immortality, and fire powers

Weakness: Water extinguishes her fire, certain soundwaves disrupt her ability to maintain her transformation, if the phoenix is “killed” then she is forced back into her human form which has no other powers and will be physically exhausted, is quite easy to emotionally manipulate

Skills/Abilities

Infernix is a super, and her super power is shapeshifting. She can only shapeshift into one thing, and that is a giant fire bird phoenix. Her phoenix is around 10-15 feet high, depending on the amount of energy she can expend into the transformation. She can maintain this transformation indefinitely, but once she changes back, she is physically exhausted and must rest before being able to transform again. In her fire bird form, Infernix can fly, communicate with any bird species, breathe fire, and is immune to any damage from heat/fire sources. She can also speak and understand English as a phoenix. The true power of the fire bird is to engulf itself in flames and burn everything around it, but she has not achieved this yet. As a phoenix, she is of course immortal. She can feel pain and be injured, and even experience the pain of death, but instead of dying, she simply is forced back into her human self. This only applies to her phoenix form, and as a human she is mortal. She has some hand-to-hand combat skills, but nothing advanced. She is quite intelligent, and because the size of her phoenix makes it impractical for her to transform in crowded cities and built up areas, she is usually the ‘brains’ and takes on the planner/sleuther role for fighting crime. Her phoenix has high raw power though, and is very useful in large-scale supervillain battles. As a human she has no other particular powers, except that she recovers faster than normal from injuries and illnesses.

Fears

Spiders, being trapped (especially underground), anything bad happening to Screech, and she has an irrational fear of one day waking up and not being able to use her powers any more and being trapped in her human body forever

Personality

Very emotionally attentive - feels emotions strongly. This can be good as it means she is very loving and very appreciative of little things, but it also means she is sensitive and easily hurt/angered by other people

Very kind and caring towards every living thing, believes that every life is important no matter what body it’s in. Very empathetic and compassionate

Brave, especially when protecting others

A lot of her kindness is aimed at animals and the disadvantaged and vulnerable (e.g. children, the elderly). When dealing with typical, healthy humans she can be selfish as she is not used to socialising, and firmly holds the belief that animals (birds) are purer than people

In her human body she is unsure of herself and doesn’t always feel ‘right’. Only feels ‘normal’ when she is in her phoenix form. She is slowly getting more used to it

Relationships

Family: Not in contact with them, except Gus Burns (Reflux), who is her great uncle. In the future, she has 4 children with Screech: Jay (male, 15), Raven (female, 13), and twins Skyler and Robin - (both male, 5) Love interest: Screech (Boyfriend/husband depending on timelime) Friends/Allies: He-Lectrix, Krushauer, Voyd, Winston Deavor, Brick Enemies: Currently none. History

Infernix did not discover her powers until very late compared to other supers. During ages 5-10, she was a ‘normal’ kid. She was bullied heavily at school, because she didn’t make any friends and would spend her playtime looking for birds and feeding them. The other kids would call her ‘bird girl’ and throw things like birdseed at her. At age 11, her emotions were running very high, and she could not shake the feeling that she was in the wrong body. She didn’t feel like a human, she felt like a bird. When she saw birds in the sky she felt jealous of them and felt like she just wanted to join them. When she looked at her arms, she saw unnatural, lanky limbs, and they just didn’t feel right. There should be wings there. These limbs aren’t hers. The human body is so weirdly shaped and hairy. Where were her feathers? She felt they were meant to be there, but they were missing. It was then that her first transformation happened, and it terrified the life out of her. It didn’t last long because she could not sustain it. Not sure what was going on, and thinking it was some kind of fever dream, she tried to pretend it never happened. Until it happened again and again, each time when she felt tremendous energy from her emotions. Eventually she was able to bring it under control, so she could decide exactly when she transformed and when she transformed back. She kept her powers hidden, and her family never knew about them; she was never close to them. Aside from learning to control it, she never really experimented with her powers, so she never achieved her full potential. She was pretty content this way for a while, until she met a man she fell hard for. She was infatuated with him, totally smitten, and he appeared to be the same with her. They had a relationship for two years, during which he subtly destroyed her self-esteem without her realising, and then used that to emotionally manipulate and abuse her. The relationship ended when she discovered he had not only been married the entire time, but had a child too. Heartbroken, she spiraled into depression. She felt totally betrayed by humanity, and felt less connected to her species than ever before. Birds never betrayed her trust like this, they were always loving and never had secret intentions. So, she decided she was going to transform into a phoenix and live in the wild amongst the birds. She lived this way for years, completely missing the events of the first and second Incredibles movies.

After the events of the second movie, the “Wannabes” created their own superhero team. Winston was eager to locate the supers who had survived the Omnidroid. Infernix was listed as one such super, since she had powers she was on the NSA database, but since no one had seen her years, she kind of got forgotten. So the “Wannabes” eventually located her, and tried to convince her to return to society. She refused. But they persisted, and reluctantly she agreed, but on the condition that she can stay a phoenix. She took an immediate interest in Screech because she felt he was a fellow bird-enthusiast, who might possibly understand how she felt. Screech of course marveled at her, because she was a giant bird, but that was strictly it. Not long after, during a super villain fight, the phoenix was ‘killed’ and Infernix was forced back into her human body. It took her a long time to adjust, even things like walking felt weird. But now as a human, she and Screech began to bond better. They would talk about birds, and no one but them understood their crazy passion. At one point, Infernix hit a very low spot, after trying to locate her family and being unable to. She confessed to Screech that she felt she had made a terrible choice in running away and had ruined her life. She felt torn between her two lives, and felt like an outcast among other people, because they never understood her and she never understood them. Screech comforted her and told her that he knew how she felt, that he too had been thought of as ‘weird’ for his owl-like habits and appearance, but that he still had a place here with his new friends, and so did she. From that moment, she and Screech began spending a lot more time together, and eventually he gathered the courage to ask her out on a date. Gradually they fell in love, with Infernix loving Screech for his honesty, passion, and pure intentions, and Screech loving Infernix for her similar passion, and her ability to always be loving and kind to people even after the resentment and bitterness she went through.

Trivia

Thinks popcorn counts as a vegetable

Has several pet birds, including 4 budgies, a cockatiel, a pigeon, and a screech owl. Would like a cockatoo

The feathers on her costume are real phoenix feathers, taken from her phoenix form. They do not give her any special powers and are only for display

Adrianna Sagittarii Hagan

Unknown date and place of birth.

She stands tall at 5′‘7 without heels, full hourglass figure weighing 190 lbs of toned muscles.

Physical development suggests a sharp, mature woman in her early to mid 30s.

Long, voluminous white hair, most often than not left to flow freely to cover her back, green eyes lined with semilunar markings in the outer corner, slightly tan skin, no visible imperfections. Strong singing voice, melodic soprano.

Currently makes her living out of residuals; owns a big part of the tobacco trade, several luxury real estate, dabbles in the jewelry and precious stones market. Fine connoisseur of all of the above. Past affairs are vaguely known, mostly of illegal or risque nature.

Strong willed, stubborn, borderline narcissistic. Hardly takes any interest in common folk, but will humor them occasionally. Feels most comfortable in lavish, expensive environments, must be exclusive, high end and the best quality out there to ever pique her interest. Origins

At some in the development of time and space she popped into existence as an angel from the soul of a child who died at a very young age. Heaven works on a hierarchical system with Guardian Angel being the first and lower rank and Archangel being the highest rank. Adrianna reached the rank of Heruvin, which is the second highest and is basically a Commander of Armies sort of position. Her wings were cut off as a punishment for her claims that she was being wronged by not becoming an Archangel sooner as a reward for her loyalty and efforts in executing her duties.

Her fall to Earth, which she calls a realm, happened at the start of the 20th century, right before the Great War started. It was hard for her to adapt and for the longest time she tired to find redemption and be welcomed back to Heaven by trying to aid mankind in whatever way she could. Of course it didn’t work and the fact that her efforts did not seem to affect anyone or anything in anyway a lot of frustrations were born in her.

Somewhere along the way she shifted and started to mind and follow her own interests. Through materialistic and evanescent, money, power, respect and status interested her. For the longest time she shifted from offering several services, most of which consisted of doing other’s dirty deeds, no emotional or sentimental strings attached. Demon possession cleansing, artifact stealing, assassination or blackmail were some of the most frequent requests. Soon enough she’d become one of the most expensive mercenaries on the market.

Currently she’s retired from this profession and invested a good part of her acquired fortune into more mainstream businesses such as real estate, jewelry and the tobacco trade. Her implication is minimal, the money keeps coming and Adrianna is living a life of wealth and luxury. She draws most of her satisfaction from meddling with the common folk’s lives or seeking company of the more unusual ones. Neither are mandatory but without them she’d grow bored quickly.

Strengths and Abilities.

First, Adrianna has the physical strength of a few full grown men combined. This means that she can keep her ground in physical combat and her punches and kicks will hurt the ordinary man. The extend of her strength would be that she is pretty capable of tossing a regular car over if she puts her mind to it. But why would she do that tho, she might chip a nail.

Second, there is a regenerative factor. Her physical form is like a vessel for her divine essence, her soul if you will, and her soul still has enough holy energy to keep this form self sustainable. Technically speaking she doesn’t need to eat or drink to survive, but does so because it’s pleasurable. Small wounds, cuts and small fractures can heal immediately, open fractures and large lacerations can take a while and internal bleeding or organ damage will take up to a few days.

Third, she is capable of incredible speeds. Yet again another ability she retained because of her holy essence, her speed is close to ‘wisp of a wind’ level. In some cases, her hair actually can leave behind a silvery reflection trail behind her. This ability however is very draining, as her physical form cannot keep up with the effort, so she only reserves it if she needs to quickly evade an attack, for example.

Lastly, Adrianna is weak against raw, power packed attacks. She can be easily overpowered by a physically stronger individual, her tactic against that is her only her wits and how much she can improvise to give herself an advantage in a head of fight. Second, magic attacks. Spells and spellcasters have an advantage against her and thus she loathes them deeply. If against guns and blades she can resist commendably there aint much she can do against a full blast magic attack. Lastly, she is terrified of large bodies of water and drowning is a reoccurring nightmare of hers. For a creature meant to fly, water is a very scary concept, it slows her down, weight her down, and she could never ever learn how to swim. Everything above thigh level is too deep for her.

<p>24 week premature baby's story of survival At 24 weeks</p>

Everything seemed very healthy throughout my pregnancy other than a minor pressure concerns, but I had always had high blood pressure growing up as a child, so no one took notice. I recall it was the week before our "planned" baby shower was scheduled, I was only 24 weeks pregnant and I'd come down with some rather severe pains one night below one side of my ribs. After a couple of minutes, I started getting scared since the pain got more intense and more frequent.

I asked him to hurry home and called my partner Essa at work. I called my doctor, and he suggested I if the pain doesn't go away, go to the emergency room and give a little more time to it. A couple of minutes later, Essa came in with obvious concern on his face as he saw that I couldn't sit still, and was in tears. I told him what the doctor had said, but he wanted nothing to do with it and forced me immediately so we could go to the hospital.

Things moved very quickly

We made it to St. Elizabeth Hospital at approximately 11:30 p.m., by 11:35 pm I had been admitted to an emergency room and had my blood pressure taken.

As the nurses signed in me, they assessed the reading on the blood pressure machine and immediately looked at Essa and asked him if I had experienced any seizures, and if so how many and how severe? Essa looked at the nurse with a stare in his eyes like he was not sure how to answer. My blood pressure reading came back at 226 a reading that far exceeded the point of a person. Luckily my body had not let it get to this point. The cause was determined by them immediately, after performing a few more labs. I was diagnosed with severe HELLP Syndrome.

Within minutes nurses called the three hospitals in the ones who had a Level 4 Triage Unit and the region known for their Neonatal Intensive Care Units. They were concerned with my health. I was transferred to University Hospital via ambulance and taken immediately to the ICU closest to their NICU. Another set of labs was taken, the moment I was admitted. As we waited, we talked with several different physicians, anesthesiologists and surgeons, all of whom explained what happened and how severe the situation was.

They did not think our baby had much of a chance

At that stage, Tate, a fellow from the NICU down the hall, came to talk with us and gave us the honest truth... He said that Kaya was going to be born extremely early and could have roughly a 40 percent chance of making it. A horde of physicians than the first round came hurrying into the room and interrupted our questions to get me into surgery as he finished his sentence. Apparently, the second laboratory results had come back, as my body was starting to shut down, and within less than one hour, the situation had reached a crucial stage for the two of us. They rolled me into surgery and immediately out of the room. I remember the tears in the eyes of my dad as he saw them take me away.

Approximately 15 minutes later, Kaya was born. She weighed in at 1 pound and within a few days 1 ounce. They had never expected her to come out yelling, although told us that they never know what to expect in these kinds of circumstances. From what we were told every single doctor in the room was shocked to hear her little lungs that were powerful. We were obviously glad to hear about it, as it gave us at least a bit of hope.

She fought from the start

There were lots of signs from the first couple of days, but all of the doctors had informed us that the first 48 hours are what they call a 'Honeymoon Stage.' With all the adrenaline and hormones that occur shortly after being born, the infant's body tends to do. The honeymoon stage of Kaya lasted a little. This, again, gave us more hope... but things then began turning for the worst.

Kaya was after the first week as her lungs began retaining water that is too much and it was becoming harder and harder to breath for her. There is no way to explain the feeling you get when you are finally discharged from the hospital (without your baby) and get a 4 a.m. telephone call informing us that Kaya had coded during the night, and needed to be revived. We received that phone call several times and were more scared than ever that she was not going to make it.

That next week they had switched her from the respirator that was usual in hopes that it would let her body and especially her lungs a bit more of an opportunity to breathe and more time to grow, to an respirator. As things began to seem like they were getting better, the doctors had detected some sort of disease and diagnosed her with NEC, or necrotizing enterocolitis, which has taken the lives of many premature infants since there's no known cure or cause. It seemed like every time things began to look up, we had Kaya requiring another blood transfusion because of a low red blood cell count, or another scare, whether it be another disease that they couldn't determine the type or cause.

We helped her heal with love

After several weeks of her pushing and fighting to make it just another day, we were finally able to hold Kaya for the first time and were somewhat forced to do so. Her neonatologist was adamant about her next phase of therapy, which they called "Kangaroo Care. " Apparently, the best treatment Kaya could receive at that point was our love.

She weighed just a little over two pounds, and I could still feel her tiny little fingers feeling her way like she knew it was me. It was one. The part about that day is that the second I lay back in that seat and began feeling her heart beat against mine, I could see the reading from her heart monitor begin to level out. From what the nurses had told us, our therapy went to be.

It shows her that she can feel your love and that you are really there for her, and her brain to create the things her body needs to help her grow faster and survive all is told by that love. After that day, Essa and I took . Essa was there three times a day but always went to or from work, or picking up me to bring me back to the hospital. We used to look forward to return to this hospital to hold her, or even to simply watch her sleep, every single night.

For micro prems, things are not Simple

After several more weeks of ailments, treatments and rounds with the physicians, she was diagnosed by her ophthalmologist with R.O.P., or retinopathy of prematurity. She had to undergo two laser eye surgeries to stop her from going with what they determined was a common occurrence with micro-preemies called retinal 27, blind. From what we were told, oxygen and the controlled environment given to a fetus from the womb longer exist after premature birth, so the blood vessels behind the eye grow sporadically, inducing and detaching complete blindness, obviously a concern. Both of these eye surgeries were no walk in the park as it took because she had to be sedated, after being taken off of it weeks before, her being put BACK on a respirator. This was not liked by her very much as she extubated herself after both surgeries. We knew we had a fighter on our hands.

From then on things began to look brighter and brighter. Kaya finally graduated from her incubator as she managed to keep her, and wear real baby clothes! I was one excited mother.

Following a gruelling 163 days, Kaya finally came home

It was lots of preparation, to say the least, as she was coming home and with a heart monitor. After minutes in rooms and several months of frequent doctors visits, Kaya was able to breathe on her own and lose the oxygen and her heart monitor.

Kaya is performing better than we could have hoped for, because of the amazing doctors and nurses at University Hospital, and notably Children's Hospital, today. They helped us SO much from the first six months of the life of Kaya and to this day, by treating her as if she were their own. Thank you when she needed it the most, to breathe. Thank you to all the mothers out there that saw the need to donate their breast milk as well because they too saved Kaya's life. We are all so thrilled with her progress, and though we would like her to gain a little more weight (who would not?) , she's a really happy and healthy little wonder.
