One thing that amuses me about Jazz is the fact that she presents herself as the sane Fenton yet she's also kinda a school shooter. Like, she brought a gun (Fenton Peeler) to school and straight up shot the school councilor (Spectra) and tried to do do an encore when her brother had been replaced by an evil version that wanted to take a test for him

Do I think the rat grinders will be revived if the bad kids survive? Yes. Do I think all the rat grinders will be revived? Not necessarily. Do I think all the rat grinders will die? Again not necessarily but it has been a kill or be killed situation.

I think, if they die, the most likely ones to be revived are Mary Ann and Buddy. Lucy if possible will definitely be revived. After that I feel like Oisin and Ruben are a who knows kinda situation. I genuinely don’t think they’re gonna revive Ivy or Kipperlily though. Ivy cause she was kinda just the least relevant rat grinder and Kipperlily cause she’s the most antagonistic (and has always been the most antagonistic even before being rage crystaled).

I feel like buddy and Mary Ann are the most sympathetic current rat grinders and so I feel like they have the highest chance of redemption. This definitely could be me just really really not wanting them to perma die but I do feel like they’ll have the highest chance out of all the others. And I also feel like kipperlily has the lowest chance of redemption (though it would be cool if she did! She’s also just the most antagonistic and least sympathetic out of them)

Bill and Tom were the kids with spot on gaydar, noticing both Vlad and Eddie as queer?? I remember those kids and I feel for Vlad, it was one of his most relatable things to me. I understand that they're there to show us that Vlad isn't popular at all tho tbh I think the whole "you do ballet lol" as a comeback was uh kinda lame? "You're not actually hyper masculine haha" is not a joke that ages well and it says something about Vlad's character that just gets glossed over rather than questioned? Like Vlad if you knew anything about ballet you'd know people who do it have some of the strongest legs ever, it's not really much of a shameful thing without the notion that the other students are just dicks about men doing anything other than mainstream masculinity. (AND WE CAN'T EVEN GET INTO IT ABOUT HOW THIS JOKE COULD BE VLAD'S OWN INTERNALIZED HOMOPHOBIA NOPE WE DON'T HAVE TIME)

And then terrifying them with his powers at the end to get them to stop messing with him felt lackluster, imo it would've been cooler if he'd just stopped taking shit from them like a normal kid would, not leaning on terrifying them. It didn't age well, I knew kids that used having been bullied to justify violence or threats of violence and it felt lame for Vlad to do the same thing (and I will be the first to admit that I Love morally grey Vlad!! But this instance didn't do it for me personally, it didn't feel like something he'd regret, it's treated as a good thing by the narrative which I think is whack.) I like that Vlad outgrows being bullied by sticking up for himself but I think it could've been done in a less heavy handed manner. Their characters could've been more, as with all covt side characters tbh. Idk if I explain it well, I just think they could've made Vlad relatable if he'd overcome that obstacle the way real teenagers do, not by being a god.
