i can't be the only one who sees mothwing as anything but confident. Even in canon, she doesn't really seem confident at all, but people seem to portray her as so. In my mind, she's always appeared as "distant" and even easily distressed, until she gets too exhausted to.. care for anything? The world just crumbles around her, but after all she's gone through, she needs a break. But in the situation her clan is going through, she cannot have it. Not yet. And probably never
