I'm just gonna vent a bit about Bayo3 complaints I've seen, no need to pay it any mind if you're looking to argue as I'm just ventposting
"Bayoluka doesn't make sense because she never expressed interest in him before" my friend, I don't know how to tell you this but Bayo's banter with Luka in the past two games was absolutely flirting
"Jeannebayo had more chemistry" buddy they both had chemistry, just different kinds
"Jeanne got shafted" they all died, I'm not sure anyone got an upper hand. At least Jeanne smiled when her spirit faded. If Jeanne had been alive at the end, I'm sure they would have died cuddling as a thrupple. Beyond that, we see that romantic or platonic Jeanne is so important to Bayo that Tokyo Jeanne and Egypt Jeanne become playable Bayo's motivation to fight, just by virtue of Being Jeanne.
"It is so weird that they are Adam and Eve" that's what singularity - a white man with a god complex - calls them, not what they are. Furthermore Egyptian Jeanne was the Arch-Eve of her world before Princess Bayonetta found her confidence
"We didn't get a huge goddess like Sheba or Omne" was Queen Butterfly not big enough for you?
"The ending was bad writing" welcome to the Bayonetta series, it does not take itself seriously
"Bayo is gay/straight" get over youself and smell the bi polyamory

But this is not a crime out in the world this is not a crime all you need is an ID yes it’s like going to pick up a bottle of wine or a pack of cigarettes
Everybody’s got a vice and I get that there is a price to pay I’m not the queen of Sheba but this is gone too far now too long
You’ve been dragging your feet on filing because there is no reason to file

(world-of-kamen-rider) "Today is Christmas? What's that?" Thesia asked quietly, looking somewhat embarrassed.
“Christmas is a midseason celebration of life, family, and love.” Sheba gives her little minotaur a hug and a Christmas sweater to wear. “Set right after the winter solstice, and before the New Year, Christmas is a time to remind us of what’s really important. We eat large feasts, give gifts, and tell stories of a good man who lived long ago, a magical old elf who gives presents to children, and in some cases, the story of a man who crawls through the vents of a tower to stop a villain’s plan.” Sheba pauses. “I need to make it clear, those three men are all different people.”

Scheherazade
All women should be like her,
the epitome of a perfect blooming flower.
Tumblr media
Her. Who’s her? the her in Sir Richard Burton's translation of A Thousand and One Nights was lucidly renowned described this way:
“She had perused the books, annals and legends of preceding Kings, and the stories, examples and instances of bygone men and things; indeed it was said that she had collected a thousand books of histories relating to antique races and departed rulers. She had perused the works of the poets and knew them by heart; she had studied philosophy and the sciences, arts and accomplishments; and she was pleasant and polite, wise and witty, well read and well bred.”
She is Scheherazade. She volunteered herself to the wrath of a broken King with pure intention in hoping that the King would stop killing innocent lass just after ravishing them. The King did so because his Queen was unfaithful to him in the first place. What a way of a man and their brute reckless act in taking revenge huh? A man and his haughty imperious pride somehow would always lead him to injudicious behavior just to protect their self-esteem. But, ever heard a woman ruler doing this kind of act? Say. Whether it’s Bilqis the Queen of Sheba, or Cleopatra the Queen of Egypt? Ever heard them spilling so much blood just to vent their own rage and exasperation?
She is Scheherazade. She is a woman of brain and brawn. No one around that period was accomplished as her. She invested her time in the most flawless impeccable way. She knows her worth. Not because of being the daughter of a remarkable Vizier, but because she knew how to fully grow in facing this life, and of course to survive the so-called distinguished custom of patriarchy. Her sacrificial valiant conduct in protecting her sister and her subtle way of elegantly confronting the ruthless King were improbably done if she were just sleazing around or going on by timidly following the society flow. She chose to rise, to upgrade herself, and to keenly bring a new breeze of change with her own acquired virtues. In the end, she was gloriously succeed in sparing her own life from thousand nights of the King’s menacing death threat.
She is Scheherazade. If she were alive by now, then she would say something like: Wake up women! Don’t be easily deceived by the glowing light of golds that came out from men’s pocket! For the beauty of gold will not only shared and savored by yourself! For the beauty of gold can be earned by anyone!
Wake up women! Don’t be easily blinded by the men’s love, for their love were basically contrived of sweet empty talks and unfulfilling promises! No other human being could guarantee your happiness with their love! Only you can truly love yourself!
Wake up women! Don’t be easily give in and let them hold the rein of your well-grounded path of life! Open your eyes women! Make them lost in the depth mystery of your eyes! Make them baffle in the enigma of your true nature complexion! Bind their mind with your brain and brawn! Cuff their hearts with your charm and chant!
Yes my dear women. A new life wouldn’t start without us. We are the true history maker. We are the genuine shaper of the world future civilization. Lastly, be your own version of Scheherazade.

Letters from Friends: Thaw 1149
To Tander, Mouse Guard, Lockhaven The people of Copperwood are in your debt. The next new moon has been declared Mouse Guard Day and we will be hosting a performance in honor of your defeat of Red Hook and his accomplices. Hopefully the order of several bolts of silk I placed with this Samson fellow will come through in time for the banners. Tin's examination of the Mint was accurate: while several ruffians may have escaped with all the currency they could carry, the presses and stamps were still safe. The disaster of counterfeiting will not befall the territories this day. Enclosed you will find our judiciary's request for the handling of Red Hook himself. Please see that it reaches Gwendolyn or whomever else needs read it.
And on a personal note, the children's nightmares have stopped. It got better for them when we got new blankets in the colors of your patrol's cloaks. You have done my family an uncountable service. His honor the 36th Governor of Copperwood, Lincoln
To Guardmouse Isolde, Lockhaven- Thank you for bringing him to me. After the first months I figured I was going to survive, and I thought there was a real chance I'd get free if I was patient and smart, but I never imagined I'd learn how my captivity started. It took a lot of my time, wondering. I died that day. And I'd be ashamed to say it to anyone else, but I went back to Sheba with open arms so I could watch her, in case she was the one that set me up. But I think you understand. I think you know that a heart can feel a lot of different things for the same mouse. I'm so glad I was wrong though. Now we can live honestly from here. I hope someday you can do the same.
From Jordan
Dearest Zeke, I know I can be stubborn. I guess we have that in common. But not long after you left I heard Old Tate is retiring. He has (had?) a tavern at Shorestone and taught me a lot when I was in my wandering days. When this letter finds you I'll probably be on the road there. A few more square feet, gorgeous tile, and the horizon over the shore; it's going to be great. I think I'll like it there. I'll keep the name to honor Tate, so my new address is The Sanded Jug. Please visit when you can, I'll give you the whole tour. Look at us now. You're giving ME career advice to save MY life this time. Wherever I go, know that I'm saving a place there for you.
All my love, Christophe
Hello Sable! So glad we can write. We hope this letter finds you well. We have some new neighbors where the Wickets used to live, you know the place, and imagine our surprise when they said they knew you! They look like the loveliest young family, you'd never expect they came from such awful circumstances. And to hear you were there too! In those awful tunnels with those awful weasels! We raised you better than that, undercover operation or not. When a weasel is nearby, you RUN! And you make sure Lily runs too! Well I suppose it all worked out in the end even if I haven't slept since I heard. Thank you for taking care of those sweet young men and their adorable child. If you're coming this way on a future mission, do try to let us know. I want to make your favorites and don't want to be caught without cashew flour this time.
Do update us on Lily when you can. We love you two very much, Your parents
Our F,
Happy Spring! It was so wonderful to winter in Lockhaven again. It does me a world of good to see all those old faces, and meeting your tenderpaw was a treat all its own. Now I know you always tell me not to believe the rumors I hear, so tell me the truth: is old Ivy active in the Territories again? She was ancient when I was green. I was lucky enough to go on missions with her a time or two. Every day it seems your mom has been talking me down one way or another from going back myself. These are dangerous times! I still have limbs to use and service to give. Sprucetuck officially closed its borders to all weasels over the winter, and you know what that means. If we're on a precipice, I want to grab the rope with the rest of you. Your Ma
Hey there good looking,
It was nice to see you, Ivy. I'm getting around as well as I did before my fall now. Not sure it's much of an improvement. Jonwyn insisted on moving in with me. I only agreed so he'd be out from under that death trap of a roof. It's nice, though, sharing the load with a friend. Have to come up with excuses to get out of the house now since he's only down the hall, but that's worth the gain all told. When I do go out, the mood's changed. There were fights; old grudges coming out. Now that the venting is over, it's actually a nicer place to live. A secret weighs on you, even if you know pretty much everybody is already in on it. Still, nobody talks about what was happening over all those years, but it's a different kind of quiet. Polite quiet, not terror quiet. Awkward, shameful, but not paranoid. Anyway, the berries are starting to sprout, and I'm getting someone else to go pick them when I want any from here on out.
Your friend, Lucius
LILY: You made a mistake. If Gayle is in captivity mice will die. The wheels of history are in motion. They cannot stop. We want to help you. We will help in ways you do not see. The Guard is blind to what is coming. Help us help you. Listen to Gayle. Listen to your mother. She is starting to see clearly. Isile is not your friend.

Ok I'm just going to throw in some stuff: Ayrenn or Razum-Dar? ESO or Skyrim? Morrowinds Quest System or Skyrims Quest System? TES VI set in Summerset/Aldmeri Dominion or Hammerfell? Tribunal or Mephala, Boethiah and Azura? Bosmer or Dunmer? Paarthurnax or Durnehviir? Dawnguard or Dragonborn DLC? Ancano x Elanor or Sheba x Mannimarco? Have fun!
Anon or not, make me choose between:
Anything: ________ or _________ ?
Let me just tell you how much I love you for sending me all these asks!Like, seriously, you are just amazing!
Ayrenn or Razum-Dar?A tough choice, but I will say Ayrenn. I hope Razum-Dar will understand.
ESO or Skyrim? Mhhhm. Both good, both I love, but let’s go for ESO.At least because I can fool around with Sleepe.
Morrowinds Quest System or Skyrims Quest System?Neither. I think I Oblivion’s was a fine middle ground between “Where the fucc I supposed to go and what to do” and questionably narrated rail-road. Although both also have their strong sides. But if I need to pick from these two? Morrowind’s. I can always find a mod for map pins or something, but I can hardly mod writing in general.
TES VI set in Summerset/Aldmeri Dominion or Hammerfell? DOMINION.I mean, first of all I would LOVE to see any of Dominion provinces with assets, design and graphics not limited by resources of an online game, like in ESO. Give me like, all these neat lore things you have written about. Gimme-gimme.Second it gives at least some hope that Dominion and it’s people will get like, more dimensions and layers and shit, if we presume that TES VI continues the story of V not making like, a few centuries leap with like “Third Dominion when? Nah, they lost war to some Random Mothefucker the First you never heard about, deal with it”Honestly, I have almost like, no hopes in anything at this point.Sorry for kind of venting.
Tribunal or Mephala, Boethiah and Azura? I have too much feelies for Sotha Sil to don’t pick Tribunal, sorry.
Bosmer or Dunmer? Bosmer. Thanks to Sleepe, again. And to ESO.
Paarthurnax or Durnehviir? I… have never played Skyrim DLCs.So it would unfair for me to answer until I do.
Dawnguard or Dragonborn DLC? Well, the same basically.
Ancano x Elanor or Sheba x Mannimarco?Ancano x Elanor, I would say.I mean, Ancano, this smuggest son of a binch, with his noice voice and his cool robes in many ways influenced, so to say, my interested in certain aspects of TES and Elanor was my first TES OC, so.Yeah.Although Scooma Cat and Worm and not far behind. Ultimate meme disaster.

I was wondering If I could request a match up? I’m a man who prefers women. I come off as neurotic, being unstable and often over stressing myself. I tend to go overboard on projects, to the point where I can ruin what I was doing. I have some level of difficulty properly conveying myself to others, and can be incredibly awkward. I enjoy the company of others, though, and don’t like being alone. I pride myself in being honest, but that might be because I couldn’t lie to save my life. 1/2
I see myself as both scholarly and helplessly romantic. I love literature, art and history. I like talking to others about my research and various other topics of interest, and often get overly excited when doing so. I also tend to not understand when people are joking, and get upset rather easily. I write my own short stories, and also try to illustrate them; and even though they might not be the best, I am proud of my work. I enjoy listening to others talk and vent their feelings. 2/2
I ship you with…
Tumblr media
Sheba!!
Sheba is great company to be around. She is kind and caring. She is careful but also very laid back!! She easily understands any hardships that come and is 110% willing to stick around through thick and thin. She wants to help you through neurotic episodes, and is there for you when you become unstable.
She is very aware of anytime you become stressed and is right there for you. She’s able to calm you down and give you insight on the situation to try and help. She might make light of the situation, just because she doesn’t like seeing you stressed, and would do anything to get a smile or laugh out of you!
Same goes when you’re upset. She genuinely cares and will show you just how much she does!! If you need space, she will give it, but still keep a close eye on you to make sure you’re okay! Not in a hovering way though, she just wants to be there for you when you’re feeling better.
Sheba absolutely loves listening to you go on and on about your interests and research. The more excited you get, she can easily match it! She can be enthusiastic and encouraging so you never have to wonder if you’re rambling! On the other hand, she also loves to talk! She is loaded with stories and wants to share them all with you!
No matter what, she is always supportive of your stories, writing, and art!! she enjoys watching you doodle and listening to any story ideas you may have. The two of you could lie in bed for hours going over all of your ideas, as well as she will definitely give some!! She would probably cry if you illustrated her in any of the stories she’s told you, or even in a fictional story!!
Others I considered: Yamuraiha and Hakuei

Tout mon corps me faisait mal.

Meet Moira Darksong!!
Tumblr media
So uh...I held off on doing this character bio but I kind of wanted everyone to know about her! Also...it’s of coincidence she matches my profile picture. Kind of, not really. Guess I’ll just hop right into it...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Moira Darksong
Age: 21
Level: (as of today) 74 Transcendent Necromancer
Current World: Zafaria
Pet: Epic Wraith named Sheba
Siblings: 2 sisters and 3 brothers
Appearance: She juggles between elegant Arch Angel’s robes and her more comfortable (in her opinion) casual though edgy clothes. Her silver hair is a side effect of an accident, (that is revealed in her back story. Not sure if I’ll touch on that today.) Moira’s eyes are amethyst and she usually has an apathetic expression. Don’t get her wrong, she’s not angry or bored all the time, she just constantly schools her features into a mysterious gaze so as not to let her emotions get the better of her in situations.
Likes: Overcast/rainy days, Japanese culture, and puzzle boxes.
Dislikes: Indecision, being forced to interact with crowds, and the deep sea waters.
Hobbies: Singing (softly to herself), writing song lyrics, playing the piano, and messing with her puzzle boxes.
Personality: Usually prefers to play the role of silent guardian or side character but will step up to the plate if things get rocky. While usually apathetic, Moira does find a few things to smile about when they arise but most of the time she keeps an eye on her surroundings and remains ever mysterious. Not one to talk much but when she does, its a few words or short sentences at most. Prefers alone time but doesn’t mind being around her friends and siblings when she feels like it. Secretly, she has a fear of her loved ones leaving her due to her silence but because of her past, she can’t speak up for the life of her. Fiercely protective and loyal, should you find yourself in need of assistance, she’s a hop, skip, and jump away from porting to you and kicking some monster ass. You need a shoulder to lean on? She’s there. Someone to vent to? Always listening. Wanna hatch? She’ll blush and quietly ask her Wraith, Sheba, if she’s alright with that.
Why Death school: Moira has always found intrigue around the macabre aesthetic. Most likely due to her mother’s influence.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, yeah. That’s Moira. I’ll probably do more in-depth background information depending on how well this bio is taken. I’ll probably do her siblings too (the other characters I have) but I want them dressed to the nines for their introduction. If you have any asks about Moira, please don’t hesitate to hit me up! Especially if you want to draw her, I would love to see a drawing of her.
(*whispers* please draw her...I suck at drawing.)
Until next time, my fellow wizards!

Magi: Aladdin and Kougyoku
This is a rather long Magi post. And it also is about a ship that not many people ship, especially because several have not read the manga and not many people are attracted to this ship in general. And it’s kind of sad to think there is probably high possibility that it won’t ever become canon even though it seems kind of obvious Aladdin has a crush on her (although others might think otherwise).
Tumblr media
We all know that Kougyoku was the one that destroyed Ugo’s body in season 1 of Magi. Some people still are mad at her for that (I’m not really because, hey she was pissed off that someone had hurt Judal and Aladdin was pissed off because Ugo was hurt. They were both just trying to protect family). Aladdin had a tough time getting along with her because of that. But, when they were in Sindria, in the omake, Aladdin and Kougyoku felt comfortable sitting with each other and just talking while everyone else frolicked around. I wouldn’t know how to put it, but I feel like Kougyoku feels like she can open up, let down her walls and reveal her insecurities around Aladdin more than she does around Alibaba. And interestingly enough, I feel like Aladdin might feel really comfortable around her as well.
Quite a few people are bothered with the fact that Aladdin and Kougyoku have quite an age gap. I won’t deny it, the age gap had me hesitant at first as well. But when I thought about the period in history Magi is seemingly situated around, it doesn’t seem that awkward? Also, no one ever had a problem with thinking Sinbad and Kougyoku was cute even though the age gap was much larger. Or is it because Aladdin is the one that’s younger? Oh well, either way it doesn’t bother me anymore.
One thing I do like, is the way their personalities are. Aladdin is a rather childish boy (not surprising, he is fifteen) with the weight of the world on his shoulders and responsibilities that normal people do not carry. He can be childish, perverted, stupid, and self destructive in his own way. But he can also be serious, wise, powerful, respectful and pillar of support for others. Kougyoku can be childish, whimsical, overly girly, stubborn short tempered and have zero confidence in herself. But she can also be mature, strong, firm, unmovable as a mountain and a great leader.
Aladdin did not grow up as a normal child. Although he was so young, he had hundreds of years worth of responsibilities and information in his head. He believed it was his duty to save the world. It’s not unusual he often felt alone although he had so many people standing by his side. He didn’t have parents dote on him and the saddest part, he knew who his parents were so even if others took the place of babying him, it was not the same. Aladdin was forced to grow up faster than most children. Ugo probably tried to treat him like he was the son of his best friends, but Aladdin craved the attention of actual parents, his being Solomon and Sheba. For this very reason, I feel it would be nicer if Aladdin fell in love with a woman older than him (be it Kougyoku or not). Someone who would prefer to protect him, treat him like a child and support him instead of a younger girl who he would rather protect, be treated as someone older and wiser and be a support for. Because no matter how powerful Aladdin is or how wise he is, if he is forced to walk that path alone like Solomon, things will not turn out so well.
Kougyoku is the child of a prostitute, in a huge family of siblings with noble mothers. She fought her way through and found a higher place to be, despite her social status in the palace. She had countless other half sisters and half brothers who never conquered dungeons and probably treated her like slum trash (pretty much like Alibaba). And yet she finds the position at the top tiring and pressurizing (which she confessed to Aladdin). Kougyoku loves her friends and siblings, but I think she would want to find someone who would treat her as an absolute equal. Someone she wouldn’t have to hide things from, or pretend in front of. Kougyoku told Aladdin that she even had to put up a strong front in front of Alibaba, the person she considers her best friend. This is where I think Aladdin fits it. Aladdin doesn’t see her as an Empress, Princess, Dungeon Conqueror or someone from a lower status. That’s why it’s so easy for them to converse with each other. They also can argue with each other, which is a good thing, because couples that fit together perfectly and don’t argue aren’t really communicating with each other. Aladdin can talk to Kougyoku freely and Kougyoku can do the same with Aladdin. And yet, despite treating her as any normal girl, Aladdin respects her. And what I find interesting is, I don’t think Kougyoku and Aladdin can actually label each other as friends although they can talk to each other so freely.
Quite a few girls look for the opposite of the man that broke their hearts or they simply couldn’t communicate with. For Kougyoku, after being used by Sinbad, I feel she would never let herself to be blinded by such glamour ever again and she would search for someone simple, someone she would be comfortable with instead of completely nervous around. While that could spell Alibaba or Judal, it could also mean someone like Aladdin. It could be highly possible that Kougyoku might fall for Aladdin as the story develops. Kougyoku fell hard and fast for Sinbad since the moment she laid eyes on him. It would be nice if the next person she would fall in love with would be someone she’s known for a while and never imagined she would fall for. Someone who makes her fall in love with them slowly and firmly. And now that Aladdin is back after so long, Kougyoku might start to see things in this boy that she has known for so long that she never expected to see.
Aladdin has always seen himself as a Magi. He believes others do as well. Although everyone says that Magi are above others and that it’s unfair that they have so much power, Magi are often not seen as normal people although they are and this internally kills them. The only people who see Aladdin as a normal person and not Alibaba’s Magi are the other Magi themselves, Alibaba, possibly Morgiana and Hakuryuu and quite possibly Kougyoku. She doesn’t even treat Judal like he’s a different being and she treats Aladdin in the same way. I like that. The fact that Aladdin is not seen as a higher being in her eyes, but a normal fifteen year old boy that she knows.
With the current state of the world though, I doubt Aladdin or Kougyoku are looking for people to fall in love with. Aladdin has been busy trying to stop Sinbad for years (and yet he developed that somewhat high school kid crush on Kougyoku), Kougyoku is not looking for love, she’s trying to run an Empire (or trading business) and with the whole return to the Rukh thing going on, I doubt she would even think of falling in love (really bad timing for Alibaba and Morgiana, I swear).
I have mentioned that Aladdin respects Kougyoku. Elaborating on this in relation to his pervertedness, Aladdin likes women. Even women he respects, if they have big chests, you can assume he will at least grin at them (although he has seemed to have matured and learned restraint during the time gap). We are sure he still behaves like this especially after the way he tried to hold Hakuei after he reconstructed her body and Hukuryuu was trying to get him to stay away from his sister and the way he complimented Pipirika after they came to see Sinbad. Aladdin likes beautiful women, period. Kougyoku is very beautiful for that matter of fact. And yet he has never ever tried anything near her. It kind of reminds me of how in Supernatural, Dean flirted and slept with countless women but only kissed Jo who he really liked when she was dying. I think Aladdin follows the same kind of mentality here considering the fact that he has a crush on Kougyoku.
Talking about the first time I noticed Aladdin and Kougyoku could be a ship was when Aladdin, Morgiana, Hakuryuu and the Kinans returned from the Dark Continent. I enjoyed the way they reacted towards each other when they saw each other after they returned from the Dark Continent.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I liked the way, Kougyoku spoke as if she was trying her best to take care of Aladdin and the rest. The first person she talked to was Aladdin, not a big surprise considering the fact that Aladdin has come out after a long time of hiding. I liked the way they effortlessly conversed with no awkwardness or politeness like some people do after not meeting for a long time. They talked with just a hundred percent their own personalities, no hiding. Childish but serious and as equals.
Tumblr media
Starting to talk about what is considered the ‘AlaKou Defining Conversation’, what I find interesting is that Kougyoku is really happy for Alibaba and Morgiana and Aladdin asks her if she’s lonely. Her reply is that ‘why would I? This is happy news!’ and Aladdin’s reply to that is a slow and trailing ‘I guess you’re right...’ as if he asked her that question expecting her to be lonely and then got disappointed, almost as if, he had been feeling lonely and wanted someone else to feel lonely with him. Which makes me think, is he jealous of the happiness that Alibaba and Morgiana have found? Does he want that kind of happiness as well? Usually people who have those kind of thoughts have someone they like but haven’t confessed yet or have been rejected. So then I wondered, could Aladdin possibly have someone he likes?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kougyoku considers her best friend to be Alibaba. You would think she could tell him everything. But she respects him and thinks highly of him, especially with his recent development, so she’s uncomfortable telling these things to him. But she’s perfectly fine with telling this to Aladdin and no one else. I think that’s some pretty nice trust she’s got in Aladdin, to tell him how she really feels, her insecurities and to ask him to keep it a secret. Having someone to vent to is a very important thing. And I find it very cute that Kougyoku can vent to Aladdin. Even if Kougyoku doesn’t like Aladdin in a romantic sense, she has a connection with him that she doesn’t share with anyone else. She can be honest even about her inmost feeling with him.
Tumblr media
Aladdin called her a show off and Kougyoku calmly admitted to it. And then he asked why she told him. It was like slow realization for him. For Aladdin, Kougyoku is probably the first girl he ever has seen as a love interest. When you get told a secret by the person you like and they tell you that you can’t tell anyone else, it feels really nice. Just a secret between the two of you. But then you think, why just the two of you? That’s the look Aladdin has on his face. And then Kougyoku admits that she feels like Aladdin would listen. That’s the same as telling him that she can talk to him about things she can’t tell others, that she’s comfortable the most around him. And that is the death blow to Aladdin. Aladdin is shown, speechless, thinking and hesitating to ask the last question. “You like me better than Alibaba?”. That’s equal to him trying to confirm that she doesn’t like Alibaba in a romantic sense. It also shows that all this time, he might have thought that she liked Alibaba and now he feels like he has reached a higher level than that. When I had a crush, we were apart of this little friend group and when he told me he had an easier time talking to me than the girl I thought he liked, I was on cloud nine. All of Aladdin’s hopes are riding on that one question he spent two entire panels mustering the strength to say.
Tumblr media
I was rather confused by Kougyoku’s reaction. I couldn’t tell what it was that she was trying to communicate in this page (and Aladdin seemed equally confused). So I broke it down into a couple of theories. 1) She is absolutely unaware of what Aladdin’s feeling are and is just telling him she told him all of this for the heck of it and Aladdin doesn’t mean that much to her. 2) She is aware of Aladdin’s feelings but knows she can’t return them. So she tells him to stop being so cocky, does a childish tongue stick out and leaves. 3) She is aware of Aladdin’s feelings and does have some sort of feelings towards him but doesn’t want to reveal it or give Aladdin any ideas because she has some problems about falling for Aladdin. Hence the tongue because she just doesn’t want to tell him the truth. Wow, Aladdin must have been left completely clueless and disheartened. What caught my eye however was that after she flips her hair, Aladdin stares at her hair.
Tumblr media
In the first panel Aladdin has this confused, ‘I don’t get what she meant but that was intense, she’s like a tornado’ look. In the second panel his thoughts are working and he is like ‘so does that mean she likes me or not? I’ll just shut up now.’ What I love in the third panel is that he seems lost in thought. People who are lost in thought often look down at the ground and trace something with their feet or whatever they have at hand and for Aladdin it’s his staff and he seems to be absentmindedly following her hair which he had been staring at. Ohtaka, we see the hints, Aladdin has a crush on her. Like several people may argue, they may not end up together, but for now, we can be pretty sure that Aladdin has a crush on her. Ohtaka wouldn’t give us useless, meaningless stuff in chapters.
Tumblr media
What I found cute was Aladdin’s reaction to Alibaba calling him. It’s that ‘I was caught thinking about the wrong thing at the wrong time’ and ‘I hope that didn’t show on my face’ and ‘Yikes, that startled me out of my reverie’ look. I understand Aladdin’s reaction. Most people try to keep their crushes a secret, especially from their close friends. Not because they would tell the other person, but dorky and dumb friends might start doing all kinds of stupid things trying to get the other person to notice you. And Aladdin is probably pretty sure that his friends would do that. Aladdin wass probably wondering, ‘Did they hear my thoughts’, ‘Were my feelings obvious on my face?’ Cutie Aladdin is just fifteen (although he has the wisdom of over a hundred years) and his reaction is very much expected.
Now that everyone wants to return to the Rukh and Aladdin has sent off Alibaba to talk to Mogiana, I want to see how Aladdin will react to Kougyoku telling him that she wants die. Aladdin considered those from Alma Torran his precious family and most of them are dead. How would Aladdin take the girl he likes wanting to die? Moreover, in situations like this, people like confessing things to others. I want to see how things will play out between Aladdin and Kougyoku in the future of the manga.

Psalm 78
Psalm 78
God’s Goodness and Israel’s Ingratitude
A Maskil of Asaph.
1 Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth. 2 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, 3 things that we have heard and known, that our ancestors have told us. 4 We will not hide them from their children; we will tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.
5 He established a decree in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach to their children; 6 that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and rise up and tell them to their children, 7 so that they should set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments; 8 and that they should not be like their ancestors, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not steadfast, whose spirit was not faithful to God.
9 The Ephraimites, armed with[a] the bow, turned back on the day of battle. 10 They did not keep God’s covenant, but refused to walk according to his law. 11 They forgot what he had done, and the miracles that he had shown them. 12 In the sight of their ancestors he worked marvels in the land of Egypt, in the fields of Zoan. 13 He divided the sea and let them pass through it, and made the waters stand like a heap. 14 In the daytime he led them with a cloud, and all night long with a fiery light. 15 He split rocks open in the wilderness, and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep. 16 He made streams come out of the rock, and caused waters to flow down like rivers.
17 Yet they sinned still more against him, rebelling against the Most High in the desert. 18 They tested God in their heart by demanding the food they craved. 19 They spoke against God, saying, “Can God spread a table in the wilderness? 20 Even though he struck the rock so that water gushed out and torrents overflowed, can he also give bread, or provide meat for his people?”
21 Therefore, when the Lord heard, he was full of rage; a fire was kindled against Jacob, his anger mounted against Israel, 22 because they had no faith in God, and did not trust his saving power. 23 Yet he commanded the skies above, and opened the doors of heaven; 24 he rained down on them manna to eat, and gave them the grain of heaven. 25 Mortals ate of the bread of angels; he sent them food in abundance. 26 He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens, and by his power he led out the south wind; 27 he rained flesh upon them like dust, winged birds like the sand of the seas; 28 he let them fall within their camp, all around their dwellings. 29 And they ate and were well filled, for he gave them what they craved. 30 But before they had satisfied their craving, while the food was still in their mouths, 31 the anger of God rose against them and he killed the strongest of them, and laid low the flower of Israel.
32 In spite of all this they still sinned; they did not believe in his wonders. 33 So he made their days vanish like a breath, and their years in terror. 34 When he killed them, they sought for him; they repented and sought God earnestly. 35 They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God their redeemer. 36 But they flattered him with their mouths; they lied to him with their tongues. 37 Their heart was not steadfast toward him; they were not true to his covenant. 38 Yet he, being compassionate, forgave their iniquity, and did not destroy them; often he restrained his anger, and did not stir up all his wrath. 39 He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes and does not come again. 40 How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness and grieved him in the desert! 41 They tested God again and again, and provoked the Holy One of Israel. 42 They did not keep in mind his power, or the day when he redeemed them from the foe; 43 when he displayed his signs in Egypt, and his miracles in the fields of Zoan. 44 He turned their rivers to blood, so that they could not drink of their streams. 45 He sent among them swarms of flies, which devoured them, and frogs, which destroyed them. 46 He gave their crops to the caterpillar, and the fruit of their labor to the locust. 47 He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycamores with frost. 48 He gave over their cattle to the hail, and their flocks to thunderbolts. 49 He let loose on them his fierce anger, wrath, indignation, and distress, a company of destroying angels. 50 He made a path for his anger; he did not spare them from death, but gave their lives over to the plague. 51 He struck all the firstborn in Egypt, the first issue of their strength in the tents of Ham. 52 Then he led out his people like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock. 53 He led them in safety, so that they were not afraid; but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. 54 And he brought them to his holy hill, to the mountain that his right hand had won. 55 He drove out nations before them; he apportioned them for a possession and settled the tribes of Israel in their tents.
56 Yet they tested the Most High God, and rebelled against him. They did not observe his decrees, 57 but turned away and were faithless like their ancestors; they twisted like a treacherous bow. 58 For they provoked him to anger with their high places; they moved him to jealousy with their idols. 59 When God heard, he was full of wrath, and he utterly rejected Israel. 60 He abandoned his dwelling at Shiloh, the tent where he dwelt among mortals, 61 and delivered his power to captivity, his glory to the hand of the foe. 62 He gave his people to the sword, and vented his wrath on his heritage. 63 Fire devoured their young men, and their girls had no marriage song. 64 Their priests fell by the sword, and their widows made no lamentation. 65 Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, like a warrior shouting because of wine. 66 He put his adversaries to rout; he put them to everlasting disgrace.
67 He rejected the tent of Joseph, he did not choose the tribe of Ephraim; 68 but he chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which he loves. 69 He built his sanctuary like the high heavens, like the earth, which he has founded forever. 70 He chose his servant David, and took him from the sheepfolds; 71 from tending the nursing ewes he brought him to be the shepherd of his people Jacob, of Israel, his inheritance. 72 With upright heart he tended them, and guided them with skillful hand.

Genesis 26:1-6
Isaac and Abimelech
26 Now there was a famine in the land, besides the former famine that had occurred in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Gerar, to King Abimelech of the Philistines. 2 The Lord appeared to Isaac[a] and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; settle in the land that I shall show you. 3 Reside in this land as an alien, and I will be with you, and will bless you; for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will fulfill the oath that I swore to your father Abraham. 4 I will make your offspring as numerous as the stars of heaven, and will give to your offspring all these lands; and all the nations of the earth shall gain blessing for themselves through your offspring, 5 because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.”
6 So Isaac settled in Gerar.

Genesis 26:12-33
12 Isaac sowed seed in that land, and in the same year reaped a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him, 13 and the man became rich; he prospered more and more until he became very wealthy. 14 He had possessions of flocks and herds, and a great household, so that the Philistines envied him. 15 (Now the Philistines had stopped up and filled with earth all the wells that his father’s servants had dug in the days of his father Abraham.) 16 And Abimelech said to Isaac, “Go away from us; you have become too powerful for us.”
17 So Isaac departed from there and camped in the valley of Gerar and settled there. 18 Isaac dug again the wells of water that had been dug in the days of his father Abraham; for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham; and he gave them the names that his father had given them. 19 But when Isaac’s servants dug in the valley and found there a well of spring water, 20 the herders of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s herders, saying, “The water is ours.” So he called the well Esek,[a] because they contended with him. 21 Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over that one also; so he called it Sitnah.[b] 22 He moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it; so he called it Rehoboth,[c] saying, “Now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”
23 From there he went up to Beer-sheba. 24 And that very night the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham; do not be afraid, for I am with you and will bless you and make your offspring numerous for my servant Abraham’s sake.” 25 So he built an altar there, called on the name of the Lord, and pitched his tent there. And there Isaac’s servants dug a well.
26 Then Abimelech went to him from Gerar, with Ahuzzath his adviser and Phicol the commander of his army. 27 Isaac said to them, “Why have you come to me, seeing that you hate me and have sent me away from you?” 28 They said, “We see plainly that the Lord has been with you; so we say, let there be an oath between you and us, and let us make a covenant with you 29 so that you will do us no harm, just as we have not touched you and have done to you nothing but good and have sent you away in peace. You are now the blessed of the Lord.” 30 So he made them a feast, and they ate and drank. 31 In the morning they rose early and exchanged oaths; and Isaac set them on their way, and they departed from him in peace. 32 That same day Isaac’s servants came and told him about the well that they had dug, and said to him, “We have found water!” 33 He called it Shibah;[d] therefore the name of the city is Beer-sheba[e] to this day.

Hebrews 13:17-25
17 Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls and will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with sighing—for that would be harmful to you.
18 Pray for us; we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things. 19 I urge you all the more to do this, so that I may be restored to you very soon.
Benediction
20 Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, 21 make you complete in everything good so that you may do his will, working among us[a] that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Final Exhortation and Greetings
22 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,[b] bear with my word of exhortation, for I have written to you briefly. 23 I want you to know that our brother Timothy has been set free; and if he comes in time, he will be with me when I see you. 24 Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those from Italy send you greetings. 25 Grace be with all of you.[c]

John 7:53-8:11
The Woman Caught in Adultery
[[53 Then each of them went home, 8 1 while Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. 2 Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people came to him and he sat down and began to teach them. 3 The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery; and making her stand before all of them, 4 they said to him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery. 5 Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They said this to test him, so that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let anyone among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 And once again he bent down and wrote on the ground.[a] 9 When they heard it, they went away, one by one, beginning with the elders; and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. 10 Jesus straightened up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, sir.”[b] And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go your way, and from now on do not sin again.”]][c]
