Mieliśmy niebywałe szczęście 🍀 Dlaczego? W Dolinie Chochołowskiej trafiliśmy rzadki widok wracającego z wypasu owiec bacy i jego stado owiec 🐑 Co w tym takiego szczególnego? W dawnych czasach po polskiej stronie Tatr był to widok zupełnie normalny, bo wypasano na tym terenie nawet 3️⃣0️⃣ tysi��cy tych zwierząt. Potem, po utworzeniu Tatrzańskiego Parku Narodowego wypasu zakazano całkowicie, tłumacząc to zniszczeniami w przyrodzie. Tym samym owce zniknęły z hal parku aż do 1981 roku. Wtedy powróciły w formie tzw. kulturowego wypasu owiec. Czym różni się wypas kulturowy od zwykłego? W czasie kulturowego wypasu wszystko musi być jak dawniej. Juhas musi nosić tradycyjny strój, posługiwać się gwarą góralską, a baca musi przejść kurs bacowski. Owce muszą być miejscowej rasy górskiej, a do ich pilnowania zatrudnione powinny być owczarki podhalańskie 🦮 Obecnie w polskich Tatrach owce wypasa zaledwie 8 baców, a owiec jest około 1200. Stąd też widok taki, jak nam się trafił nie należy do zbyt częstych. The two bottle fed lambs - Splodge (lying down) and Boysie. Boysie is a total sweetheart and is so smiley! They’re not getting enough milk from their mums, so every evening we take them from the barn with their mums and the other lambs and ewes and take them back into the house where they’re fed properly.
