This week I’m trying out boujie lip balms from my collection that I’ve never used before.

Packaging: The gold cases are absolutely gorgeous. I love that each of the four shades has a different flower design on the lid. It has a nice weight to it and feels really luxe, which is exactly what I'd expect from D&G.

Feel & application: This balm twists up like a lipstick with a flat, slanted (round) tip. There was very little (if any) overspill over the sides when applying. It appeared patchy in the arm swatch, clinging to some areas and skipping others, but this was not an issue on the lips. It's the most balm like texture I've tried all week, it has slip to it, yet has that heavier, clingy, balm-like consistency. It feels nice on the lips and had a glossy, sheer finish. Within an hour or two, I could still feel it on my lips, but couldn't see anything at all.  

Colour: I worried from my arm swatch that this would come out too orangey on me, but it is very sheer so just looked a warm-nude-tan. The arm swatch above, as always, has no colour/light edits made to it and was applied very heavily as otherwise it was hard to see.

Overall verdict: The packaging is divine and the colour isn't bad (barely there anyway). I feel like this was reasonably moisturising, but if it's even a hint of colour you want, you need to reapply very regularly. It's definitely more of a lip balm for me than a makeup product.
