I'm really annoyed at the "Marvel-ization" of characters. They all got continuously more self-aware and quippy and kind of lost the thing that made them unique as a character. Like Loki, Thor, Bruce etc. Which is why I'm not a big fan of the new Loki series :/

how do you see it?

oh literally LITERALLY u just said it all. as u said, exactly the same thing happened with these characters, and ‘marvel-ization’ is SUCH a good word for it. it’s especially apparent with loki because the first thor movie, as i said many times before, was a more serious and drama-like (???) movie, with its shakespearean vibes and dialogues and characters, god it was Nothing like any other mcu movie..... and i think it was great as a stand-alone movie— but marvel just HAS TO make 3674 sequel to everything to keep the money coming and, like u said, they like to make their characters self-aware and quippy, funny comedy characters that keep breaking the fourth wall... and they just can’t take themselves seriously anymore...

like don’t get me wrong i still love loki because come on it’s tom hiddleston and idk i have been the fan of him and that character for almost 10 years now and i’m happy for any content and all,,, but yes it’s just not the same character. the mcu curse got him too, the mavel-ization got him too, and that’s just so sad.
