The best bro/sis squint and it almost seems like canon is Shi Fen/Shi Miao from this Chinese series called Take My Brother Away. Doesn't skimp on the angst of exactly why they would seek comfort in each other but makes up for it with dumb humour, loveable side characters and, I shit you not, a scene that plays during the end credits that looks like them getting married and dancing on a beach. Anime has a lot to offer (like Nezutan my beloved) but don't sleep on Chinese media man
