YALL I just told my mom about shifting and she was surprisingly open minded??

We were having a talk about dreams and premonitions so I was feeling bold lol. We’ve actually talked about reality shifting before, in a more scientific sense (my mom likes learning about quantum physics), so it wasn’t the first time she’s heard the term.

I don’t think she totally buys into the fictional universe aspect of it, but she was just kinda like “yeah you’re a very spiritual person like me, so it makes sense you’re into this” LMAO

But yeah. Kind of a slay. I told her some stuff about my shifting journey and said I’d let her know if I successfully shift to my DR lol.

I miss the way shifting used to feel.

I discovered shifting in 2019-2020 when it first started blowing up on tiktok. It was full of misinformation, and restrictive beliefs and complete and total chaos, yeah, but I've been scrolling through the older posts in my shifting folder on tiktok, and the nostalgia I'm feeling is insane.

I was massively affected by misinformation and limiting beliefs through shifttok, which is probably the reason that so some degree, I still struggle with shifting -- especially with motivation and doubts.

But I miss having a shifting routine. Not because I need one to shift, but because it motivated me. It made me feel so excited, so prepared to start on this journey. It also had a massive effect on my mental health when I was at probably the lowest point in my entire life. The joy I gained from my shifting routines alone is probably the reason I'm still here, to be honest.

So for my own sake, I'm bringing back my routines. I'm bringing back my favourite nostalgic bits from the beginning of my shifting journey without any of the limitations or toxicity. I'm remaking my journey, and I'm bringing you guys along, if you want to come with me, if any of you are looking to get back that spark.

MCU dr: Daughter of Heimdall

Name: Astrid Heimdalldittir

Birthday: January 24

Height: 5'8"

Appearance: I have natural white hair like above, but it will be short like in the second picture. I have orange-brown like eyes like Heimdall, my dad. It also glows like his too.

Backstory: So long story short, I was born in Asgard to my father and my mom (who was a Valkyrie. We all know what happens to them. I might script she also survived). But anyways, Hela had been targeting me because of my powers that I got from my mom's side. It skipped a generation and got to me. Because of that, my dad teleported me to Earth, where I was taken to an orphanage. I grew up there, all the way until I was 15.

One day when I was 15 and walking through New York, the avengers were fighting a villain and a big piece of debris was flying my way. And me not knowing I had powers, I put my hands out to defend myself (my dumb ass would've died anyways) and my powers activated without me knowing. I had froze the debris to save myself. Me, being the scared teenager, ran back to the orphanage to hide from attention. But most of them noticed who I was. Next day before I knew it, I was getting adopted by the avengers and living with them 💪🏾

Powers: I will be able to control all the elements (more like tech, metal and others) but I first start off with Ice, Fire, Water, and Lightning. I also have super strength, super speed, y'know all the Asgardian stuff since I'm Asgardian. I also scripted to have the same Omni-senses like my father. My fighting will be like how the elemental benders fight in the Avatar ☺️. In the future I will learn how to use Asgardian magic too. I have like two pages for powers 💪🏾🙄

Kinda funny how I had this script for a long time and the official name of Heimdall's first child in the canon MCU is also named Astrid. He's a boy though 💀

I'm gonna be the Norse Goddess of Nature.

I can play multiple instruments, just like in my other realities. It's the one thing that I always keep

I scripted that Asgard isn't destroyed (duh) and that Loki doesn't die. So he will also be there with the avengers (I'm so excited to see him)

I based off my mom's appearance from the marvel hero Storm (she's so pretty please-)

I'm still going to school with Peter, and we'll be out own hero duo (like ladybug and cat noir. Love myself for scripting this).

This was one of my first scripts lol. Still glad I'm shifting here. It was also where I first shifted. I had scripted to have one of the children to wake me up, and I saw her. She was wearing a pink dress too 🩷🩷

What proof do you have that shifting is real? Where does it come from? Which cultures practice it? Do you guys even have any backup for your claims. I’m not even coming at you at all i’m genuinely curious and would like to know so i could read.

It’s a fair question.

Shifting is, essentially, experiencing a different reality. This is a metaphysical practice, so it’s unlikely to be proven in the way many people want (ex: some kind of brain scan).

Perhaps a brain scan would show certain signs of increased brain activity if a person were meditating and doing a shifting “method”, but the actual final act of shifting isn’t a physical process at all. You shift via your consciousness.

Most people believe in shifting for a combination of reasons. For me, it’s a mixture of reading about thousands of others first-hand experiences and my own scientific and spiritual beliefs.

There are countless experiences shared online by shifters, even by people who have no idea this community exists. People who don’t know the word “reality shifting” but say they explored “persistent realms” or lived for years within dreams. There are entire shifting podcasts where people share their experiences in heavy detail, and speak so casually, it makes it difficult to believe it’s all a well-constructed lie. My favorite is the GetShifty podcast. Their first episode is “What is reality shifting?” and touches on a lot of the things I mention here.

In physics, the multiverse theory has been around for a long time, and there is some notable evidence for it. You’ve probably heard of the famous double-slit experiment, which showed that light can act as either a wave or a particle, and condenses into one upon observation. This could indicate that parallel realities exist, with each potential outcome existing, and collapsing into one once observed (AKA, someone intentionally shifting to it).

As for religion/cultures, the concept of multiple realities and reaching them via deep meditation seems to be mentioned in the Yoga Vasistha.

The famous author Neville Goddard also has many books about manifestation and his approach to it. He has mentioned his experience of being in a meditation and experiencing a different reality. He called it “worlds within worlds.”

You don’t even have to be into “new age” type things to believe in shifting, though. The concept of non-dualism is present in Sufism, which is arguably central to one of the main shifting theories (the consciousness theory).
