Snake Eater:

Gotta be one of the most iconic (and best) songs in the mgs franchise. Vocals and instrumental are both so powerful and tell the general plot of mgs3 through Snake's perspective. Also pretty touching because the lyrics are about the strong feelings he has towards his boss and you don't get to see such a tender side from Snake too much. Incredible song from an incredible game

can't read the map~~ and an SMT moment

Not updating the other post~~ I got too comfortable I guess.

first reset in a while. luckily I save after literally every encounter, lol.

didn't make it to the woman's ring yet. I think I suck at reading the map

get to second strata of naraku; SMT moment where I fail the preemptive strike and am destroyed by 2 slime and a chagrin.

chagrin is weak to electric and slimes are weak to everything.... how? I wish I had a mokoi to handle this cause it has zio.

Idk why i still can't read the map..... it always stays the same direction. in pokemon violet and real life I find it's easier to read the map if it spins in the direction you're facing and isn't a static direction...

or maybe I'm odd...

Edit: attempted to fix sentence ~~ made it sound like I couldn’t read the map cause it spins in the direction you’re facing , I can read the map better that way. How do you spin the map in the direction you’re facfacing and moving? I can’t read it with it just facing one direction…

context for this:

theres a rumor going around that former cdf nikkari has taken in akira’s son as his cadet. of course, logically, everyone knows that the kid has nothing to do with what his father did, but festering grudge is hardly logical.

fujiwara and skins extend their offer to help shelter the kid, but that doesn’t solve the problem of who is capable of escorting nanashi safely. the strong ones tend to be former cdf too, and they’re also the ones with a score to settle.

thus, they contacted those who called themselves samurai, weirdos claiming to be from above the ceiling, but undeniably strong. not to mention, they’re not aligned to any of the three big factions in tokyo, making them the safest option to take.

nikkari gives nanashi his cape as a parting gift, so he can hide his face with the hood, and hope that one day nanashi will be able to move on from his father's shadows...

except PSYCH!!! nanashi is akira's reincarnation all along
