Seiya head cannons nobody asked for because I hate how unpopular he is compared to every other character:

Seiya is obsessed with old Japanese Tokusatsu shows like Kamen Rider and Ultraman. One of the main motivations he had for becoming a saint other than finding his sister was wanting to become a superhero.

Most of Seiya's prize money from the Galaxian Wars Tournament went towards chairitys to help out orphans, mainly the ones at the orphanage that Miho runs. He doesn't want anyone to miss out on a childhood like he did.

The reason we see Seiya playing guitar for like one scene in the anime was because he took lessons thinking it would be interesting but soon got bored with it and moved on to other things. He only knows a few basic songs.

Seiya is kind of a slob and his house is usually very messy with food wrappers and piles of laundry on the floor as well as tables being filled with random clutter. He only really organizes his rare figurines, but usually cleans when Shiryu comes over because he wants to impress him.

The name Seiya means "Star Arrow". The reason Seiya got his name was because it rhymes with his older sisters name (Seika) and also because his father was an archer.

Seiya is gay and knew this from a very young age, frequently developing crushes on other boys at the orphanage he lived at. But he tried to deny it for a long time because he had a lot of internalized homophobia, being raised in a time in Sanctuary's history where very rigid gender and sexuality roles were inforced.

Seiya fell in love with Shiryu from the moment they met at the mansion of Mitsumasa Kido as young boys. The two became very good friends and spent much time together during their brief stay but Seiya would always get nervous around Shiryu because he didn't know if he liked him back.

When Seiya found out he had to fight against Shiryu in the tournament he was so distraught he almost quit, but couldn't because of the agreement he made with Saori. The whole time through Seiya pretended that Shiryu was just an annoying rival but couldn't help himself from blushing when the dragon saint took his shirt off.

Seiya always feels guilty that Shiryu and his friends are always getting hurt trying to protect him. He pretends to be the cocky leader of the bronze saints but the truth is he has a lot of self-esteem issues.

Seiya and Shiryu started dating after the fight against the gold saints, it was the hardest battle they'd fought at the time and the most stressful because they were on such a strict time limit. The two were also constantly horrified the other was dead because they kept getting separated. They swore never to let each other go ever again because they knew their lives could end any moment.

Seiya has ADHD, meaning he has a lot of trouble focusing, he needs everything to be absolutely silent when doing something important. It also helps to have fidget toys like stress balls too keep his hands busy.

Speaking of fidgeting, when Seiya and Shiryu are sitting together or even cuddling Seiya likes to play with Shiryu's hair because it's so long and smooth, just taking strands of it and twirling it around in his fingers.

One of the worst times of Seiya's life was when Shiryu went blind, it hurt him so much to see someone he deeply loved suffer. Every morning when Seiya wakes up the first thing he does is compliment how beautiful Shiryu's eyes are.

(I might have more but this is all I can think of for now, if anyone has their own headcannons I'd be glad to hear it.)

The first promotional video and the closing theme for Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta were revealed at the Aniplex Online Fest 2024 event. The television anime (I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class) premiered. The romantic comedy light novel by Seiju Amano will be adapted into an anime series that premieres in January 2025.

Dichords now have a Discord!

The Dichord Discord – a Discord server for all things Dichord. That’s probably gonna get confusing… let’s call it the Dischord server!

To celebrate, we’re having an open registry event where everyone who participates will be given a Registry ticket – and we’re even hosting two giveaways for a registered Dichord adopt designed by Shisei and yours truly (Jirachibaby)!

What is the Dichord registry? 

It’s a place to keep track of “official” Dichords. Dichords designed by Shisei or I (Jirachibaby) are listed, as well as designs that have been registered using a Registry ticket, and all semi-closed subspecies designs like the Soprano and Baritone.

Why is the registry important?

Only Dichords in the registry are permitted to be sold. 

Free MYO Natural and Falsetto Dichords are not added to the official Dichord registry by default. They are still considered legitimate if they follow all of the species guidelines and can be used in community events. They can be traded or gifted, but not sold.

What is a Registry ticket?

Registry tickets are codes that allow you to register one (1) Dichord design into the registry. It is given an ID # and you are allowed to sell, auction, or raffle it as you wish.

Currently the only way to obtain a Registry ticket is by participating in our Dischord opening event (this one!)

How do I participate?

Join the Dischord server (link), read the community rules, follow the Dichord MYO guidelines (link) and post your Dichord in the event channel in the Discord.

Don’t want to draw your Dichord from scratch? No problem! We have two free bases available for download (link) and all you have to do is color them in.

Do I have to make a Dichord to participate?

Not at all! The giveaway adopts will be a free open raffle for anyone in the Dischord to opt into, whether they participate in the MYO event or not.

And that’s it!

At the end of the event, everyone who shared their Dichords will receive a Registry ticket and the giveaway winners will be announced.

The event starts April 20th (4/20) and ends May 4th (5/4).
