had such a weird talk with my mentor and honstlyyyyyy im so fucking tired and i find her logic a bit flawed and she's like. Very stuck on realism and that i'll lose out on customers bc im doing more stylized stuff atm like girl there are tattoo artists out there with zero grasp on realism doing stylized and they are just Fine what
#almost cried in front of her today and like i truly feel like i am probably in the wrong shop for the type of person and art that#i prefer to do#and there's 'no emotion' in my designs or whatever like girl. as if realism isn't theeee most soulless of art styles there is#i think i should be in a diff studio possibly with a different mentor but im here bc she was the first to take me on and it's so hard to#find apprenticeships that i didn't want to decline in case i wouldn't find another place that would accept me#and now i'm here and have to deal with my mentor wanting a very specific thing out of me that i rly struggle with#i want to dieeeeeeee#eget#did cry to my partner abt this earlier and might actually do that again now lol

Man, battlewagons are hard to draw. And I'm not even drawing them how I picture because I have restrictions within the current medium I'm using so I can only design them as a square brick. Ily Hurley and Sloane but why did you have to be in the car battlewagon arc this is like the main thing I have trouble drawing lmao

i do love my car it is the perfect car aside from the. imperfections and frequent problems,
#toy txt post#😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔#why is the flex pipe broken again! who is responsible.#anyway i know how this sounds but also im right. i just want a tiny little car like i have#but like for all the parts to be high quality and easy to replace. u know. but alas#after spending hours trawling past the seo listicles about 5 signs that my flex pipe is failing#looking desperately for the forums where i cannot understand anything theyre saying. it seems like#when the shop replaced the flexpipe previously they must not have used an OEM part and swapped it out for a cheaper part#and or. my engine mounts are failing? and or. exhaust hangar issue???#and the guy at the mechanic shop was like oh its like a design flaw with the cars that have flex pipes and the front wheel drive engines#that rock back and forth instead of side to side so they just wear out faster. but also it shouldnt wear out this fast. and its bc my car is#a shitty cheap little piece of shit. but also its bc something is wrong like this happens to plenty of other cars too that arent fiats#and im sure we'll look into it and shrig and get the flex pipe replaced and ill be like okay. can we replace it with a just straight pipe#that isnt flexing? no bc thatll lead to wear and tear destorying more expensive parts? ok. what about beefier mounts or more mounts to make#the engine chill out. no probably not bc it probably needs to move a little bit or else theyd find a way to make it stop moving. well okay#what if we take the engine out and fucking rotate it so that it rocks side to side instead?since all the car guys are waxing poetic about#that? no? thats not possible? i think it probably is possibly but what you mean is its not feasible or realistic and its not worth it and i#should just keep replacing this one piece or what the fuck ever.#mostly i think im just tired of how my parents treat my car now? i get it you hate it. please just accept the fact that you are going to#hate any car i have bc im not ever being the newest release of the pedestriancrusher3000 suv tank that beeps when someone is next to me#like i joke but literally it seems like all they want is for me to get a different bigger car. i dont want or need a bigger car.#we have been having this argument since i started learning to drive. no one who taught me to drive understands that bigger car=more anxious#cos im anxious about Different Things than they are. maybe i could have slightly better Visibility but at least i can see over my fucking#hood#anyway. i do wish i could get my exact car but with like higher quality materials/construction and like. as a plug in hybrid instead#electric sounds nice in theory but i dont think its for me just yet?#ive seen new electric fiats (which they arent selling here btw) (fuck you if you want a small new car lol)#car companies be like america? oh those fuckers only want the largest tanks we can legally allow on the road. and then the 3 of us american#folk that do actually want small cars are like hey uh. how do i get a small one. i know yall make them. ive seen it#and the companies are like oh we dont sell them to you. you only like big cars

its difficult to find a good thick zip up sweater these days. my best sweater is one my mom got me from a family vacation to myrtle beach several years ago
#racing!#its been worn to a good level of comfort but time hasnt been kind to it#the pilling is annoying to deal with and theres a hole in the seam attaching the sleeve to the torso part of the sweater#and i havent sewn it up yet bc i forget. and also im lazy.#and ive been meaning to seam rip the myrtle beach embroidery on the front bc i personally think its ugly as hell#but again. keep forgetting and also im lazy#trying to find a new sweater with similar weight and texture ans thickness that wont make me bankrupt immediately is proving to be#quite a challenge . bc no store around me sells sweaters that meet my criteria and online shopping is a toss up#i found a sweater with a pleasing design but the site its being sold on looks sketch as hell and theres no item description or size chart.#and unfortunately thats the only place this particular sweater is being sold. so i guess ill die

kinda missing the shitty little shops and boutiques in the city circa 2007/2008
they've been gone for years but I would like to visit them one last time...
#i remember getting cheap clothes from the og new yorker location with the tacky black/white checkered floor#and the small sales space crammed front to back with racks and shelves of clothes#and the small cabins with the doors that never closed all the way and the too loud music#so many ed hardy knock off designs#and the small knick knack shops a few streets down from there#cheap jewelry and decorations and party stuff and candles and what have you#i remember buying posters and cheap plastic-y neon coloured hair extension clips there#got my tacky bedazzled peace sign necklace there as well when i was in my brief but intense hippy 70s phase#or that other overprized boutique with the most insane size range (XXXS - M/L) where i e#where i exclusively bought jewelry and accessories because i could not fit into any of their clothes (been a size L/XL since primary school)#i still have the black satin bunny ear bow headband with the wires inside you could shape however you wanted that was super popular#and i remember the bedazzled tinkerbell silhouette necklace and the star earrings that were too heavy for my ears so i never wore them#also the leather wares shop when it was still in a side street in the city... i still remember the day i skipped school to roam the streets#went there and bought a raccoon tail keychain. still going strong 15 years later and still attached to my wallet <3#a true comfort item. used to pet and stroke it in stressful situations#anyway..... feeling very young and nostalgic for a time that's long gone idk idk idk#i wish i could've enjoyed it more. but that was impossible as i was barely surviving at the time. always on edge.#struggling with mental illness and bullying and gender identity issues while not even having any words to describe what i was feeling#i feel i have missed out on so much because i was trying so hard to Just Survive
