Ah yes, we are finally back at the stage of "too many creative ideas too little time"

Which honestly I prefer to "no creative mojo at all" which was the case until a couple of weeks ago 😒

#my actual life #current and planned projects:#the lace shawl with leaf pattern. union jack socks for my friend's birthday (knitting)#cloning the breezy summer top. making a crop top from the leftover dress fabric. finally making that short cotton skirt (sewing)#i have already started the leaf shawl and the top clone #but i want to start the crop top instead 😩#which would be a bad idea because I'm confident i can finish the top i started today and then I'd have another summer garment #which is sorely needed in this weather #and the crop top i have to make a pattern for first so that's at least 4-5 hours of work until it's done #also i don't like having multiple projects started (for the same craft) it stresses me out #with the exception of my puzzle blanket which is long term and in between by nature #so on to finishing my top i guess

Getting excited to plan/wear some fun silly outfits on my birthday trip. I rarely feel comfortable dressing as quirky as I want to when I'm out and about doing boring stuff like running errands because my goal is generally to get in and out with a minimum of Being Perceived.

#birthday day #excited to wear fun stuff #have several vests that I have been dying to incorporate into my warbdrobe more often #bought some new bike shorts so I can wear some cute skirts #i have two day-to-day outfit modes #work mode: bland work-friendly patterned blouses w/ basis overshirts and jeans #mellow dude mode: silly black tee or homemade tiedye shirt with overshirt and jeans (add tiedye hoodie in the cold months)#most of the time it does not feel worth the additional energy to dress up to just go to the grocery store or whatever #but a special occasion like a fun trip?#to a place with lots of travellers and weirdos so I can dress as strange as I want without feeling like I stand out in a negative way?#sounds amazing

funniest part about taking so frustratingly long on this fuckass event and having that fuckass skeleton rotating in my brain long enough to start becoming probably lethal is how many extremely trivial things i'm having to pick and choose to share about him now. how much transfem egg coding can i slip in before people start to notice
