I finally finished my draw taken from the screenshot of "Veronica", the new ending song of Detective Conan's anime by Mai Kuraki. I changed some details from the original screenshot and I made the colors brighter but I'm satisfied enough with the final results 🥰

Shuichi's Soft Side 🙈

I would like to confess that I didn't read old chapters of Manga before but after reading it, I found something beautiful for RS

We all say he only cares about his Job but he does have his soft side for Jodie 🙈

Let's have a look-

Ch-601

Here Jodie committed a mistake. And when James asked Jodie about her decision, Shuichi completed her deduction and was looking so serious while answering to James. But as soon as he turned towards Jodie he smiled.🙈 He don't go hard on her when it comes to her mistakes. It's so sweet of him🙈 And before she looked so surprised and scared(maybe) but as soon as she looked at smiling Shuichi, she felt better 🙈.

This is very important panel as Gosho deliberately made a different slot for such a small dialogues. So it was for Shuichi's reaction towards Jodie which is very significant and should be noted. Well everything Gosho does have it's own reasons 😄

Men's reaction changes when they face women vs men, so men will be men 😂😏 Well it's different for Shuichi as it's undeniable that Jodie is unlike other women for him😏🙈

Whenever I see this picture, I get this feeling that Shuichi is telling her not to worry about anything as he will take care of everything.❤

Ch-1063

I would say it's a very responsible side of Shuichi.

James is the boss, so it is a part of his duty towards his employees to take important responsibilities. Well he is a very cool boss imo. I love that thing about him🙈 especially when he gets ready to drive for his junior. How generous of him🤗. But Shuichi went ahead and clarified it better for her sake.

Okay I'm getting into more details but body language plays a very important role and shows that how a person seeks about the other person in their mind. And the way Gosho positioned Shuichi, directly facing Jodie' back, it shows sincerity and willingness to take responsibility without delaying. So I would say he took the responsibility as well as he was worried too. Because it was a big mistake that cost lives.

Imagine your close one commited a mistake and you care a lot for them. And now they are worried about their decision. So how will approach? Possiblly you would like to approach them and look into their eyes and say what you have in mind. Psychology says that the position of shoes that where it is pointed while one talk to another person can show if they're interested in them or not. So changing positions affects the way one perceives the other person. I don't know if Gosho made that panel keeping these things in mind but he he is a very detail oriented man without any questions. So who knows?

Ch-599

Here a mistake was commited by everyone.It was circumstancial that kusuda shot himself. Here he, did the same with Conan too but he took the whole blame on himself and FBI as well. So I would say it's different from Jodie, because he is just a little kid who isn't a professional agent. So letting him have some big responsibilities, might sound bad. So as a responsible adult and an agent, he took the blame.

Basically he is a man who don't show that much of love and affection but cares deeply 🙈❤

If I was there and my curiosity would have struck, I would have jumped out of the car to look at what he was doing until I get bored. That's typical of me but I think most of the people does that. Shuichi's family

Task: make a story/create dialogues and situation for the following picture-

Situation:

Shuichi, Jodie and their kid, Conan were on a family trip. Conan gets sleepy in the back seat so Shu and Jodie gets a little naughty while driving and an accident happens. James is the father in law who is taking care of the mistake. Conan is thinking that he won't get a sibling anytime sooner.

Dialogues/Thoughts:

Shu: This woman ruined our evening...

Jodie: Our goodness, Shu was driving...

James: Seems like their honeymoon period hasn't been over yet. Ufff these youngsters... Careless!

Conan: I want to play with a sister! But this Oba-saan💢

The Clash of Red and Black Warning scene-

I know it's pretty old thing to discuss but yeah I'm doing it anyways. So I'll be covering

The explaination of the warning

I found something interesting, although it's purely my opinion BUT based on how the characters interacted.

This one is 💯 certain-

Shuichi really don't like it when Jodie gets hurt. Before his fake death he warned her, because, she won't get hurt physically but mentally. B.O wouldn't hurt any FBI agents because all they needed was their reaction. They didn't hurt anyone in kir arc too and Shuichi mentioned it that they only checked the reactions. So all those words

"Ah.. Jodie?

Beware.....

I'm having a bad feeling about today.....

Really....?"

along with that disappointed and worried face, it was for her feelings. He was worried for her.

The fake death would have lasted for a few weeks just to convince BO. They were already convinced on the same night but for safer ground, he thought it's better to extend the time period to make it more natural for everyone that he is dead. FBI would have started working together after the success of fake death mission again. But still he did that.

It's an irony to know that Shuichi always says others not to make that kind of face in most difficult time and stays calm, but here he couldn't help it here.

This one is purely my opinion BUT based on the characters interactions and dialogues -

I'll be reading between lines

If we take a close look at the panel, it was Shuichi who asked Jodie to go, before james would have asked Jodie.

Moreover, let's hurry up and rescue him...

....You would like to go now, right? To the hotel...

In my opinion it had two purposes-

He didn't want to tell anything about Camel

He really wanted Jodie to leave after all

He already declined to answer her question. And I don't think she would have pressed him forward but yeah the excuse of rescuing him worked well to shrugg her question off naturally. But it felt suspicious though. It was because he didn't want to tell anything about Camel.

But since he said so much even in the next slot, it felt like he was trying to impose this on her. It was important to save him no doubt but the way he said- "You would like to go now, right? To that hotel..." , it feels like he wanted her to leave anyways. And Jodie's reaction also showed confused emotions- "Y-yes".

The warning he gave to her, was a sign. He realised, later that on his departure to the place, Jodie won't be there. So he stopped her, when she was hurrying to save Camel and warned her way before so that she can handle the shock maybe a better manner. But it happened other way around. She didn't take him seriously. Eventually leading to the irony.

It was actually good for Shuichi that Jodie went away and got busy in a case to rescue Camel. That way he didn't have to lie on her face before he would go to fake his own death. Look, he would have assured her not worry about him, like he did with James. And what would have happened then? Jodie would be waiting there, in the hope that he'll come back safe but she would have get nothing but disappointment and shock. It would have become way too worse for her. She would have taken stress, waiting for him, getting anxious by the fact that it was surely a trap, which she sensed as soon as James informed her later. It would have broken her heart, shattered her hope and trust from Shuichi. Even she might have blamed herself that she didn't take any measures on her own, like as a backup plan.

So it was good that Jodie went away from Shuichi that day.

So thanx Gosho! We need to stop saying that he does nothing... He does but we a don't see things and deduce them...
