This is the final Saimoe news bulletin for the International Saimoe League on The Bedlam on Baltic Avenue. Nearly two decades of memories, great battles and countless sagas in the Saimoe movement drew to a close with the conclusion of Match Day 8 in the 2022 International Saimoe League Eliminations Period.

The first of three Female Division necklaces up for grabs went to Mashiro Shiina, who defeated Violet Evergarden 3241-1550. Elaina was third with 1222 votes, Nao Tomori was fourth with 870 votes, Miko Nakano was fifth with 781 votes, Mai Sakurajima was sixth with 66 votes, Rem was seventh with 564 votes and Yukino Yukinoshita was last with 500 votes.

The second Female Division necklace went to Yui Yuigahama, who defeated Shiro 2598-2256. Nagisa Furukawa was third with 1306 votes, Nanami Aoyama was fourth with 820 votes, Illyasviel von Einzbern was fifth with 680 votes, Konata Izumi was sixth with 434 votes, Yuri Nakamura was seventh with 378 votes and Yui-nyan was last with 237 votes.

Ai Haibara won the third Female Division necklace, prevailing over Kumiko Oumae 3420-3376, Shouko Nishimiya was third with 1100 votes, Isla was fourth with 720 votes, Hu Tao was fifth with 576 votes, Iroha Isshiki was sixth with 469 votes, Megumi was sixth with 402 votes and Eriri Spencer Sawamura was last with 345 votes.

The first Male Division pendant up for grabs went to Conan Edogawa, who delivered the Final Upset of the Round as declared by the Bedlam, a 2968-2796 scalp of Miyuki Shirogane. Accelerator was third with 1344 votes, Sakuta Azusagawa was fourth with 1100 votes, Kazuto Kirigaya was fifth with 873 votes, Taki Tachibana was sixth with 654 votes, Subaru Natsuki was seventh with 508 votes and Touma Kamijou was last with 470 votes.

Takashi Natsume took the second Male Division pendant after belting Shidou Itsuka 2321-1793. Shirou Emiya was third with 1354 votes, Saika Totsuka was fourth with 1103 votes, Saitama was fifth with 870 votes, Ryuunosuke Akasaka was sixth with 761 votes, Kazuma Satou was seventh with 617 votes and Ainz Ooal Gown was last with 560 votes.

Tanjiro Kamado earned the third Male Division pendant of Eliminations 8, a 2058-2021 victor over Sasuke Uchiha. Gilbert Bougainvillea was third with 1502 votes, Inuyasha was fourth with 1181 votes, Nasa Yuzaki was fifth with 1019 votes, Mikaela Hyakuya was sixth with 904 votes, Mochizou Ouji was seventh with 789 votes and Tomoya Aki was last with 560 votes.

Finally, a convoy of dual matches and the odd race involving more than two took place to cap off an era of Saimoe to be believed. Schwi Dola flew past Jibril 2294-1552, Mahiro Oyama defeated Hideyoshi Kinoshita 1905-1417, Hitori Gotou rocked Yui Hirasawa 2793-2192, Jinx leveled Vi 1777-1017, Pikachu shocked Ai Kizuna 2879-1639, Aqua Minato prevailed over Kokori Amamiya 1607-1555, and in a battle of hololive rivals, Gawr Gura (1336) outlasted Pekora Usada (1281) and Kanaeru Kobo (958).

■ Characters

Erika Aiba (voiced by Hisako Tojo)

“I’ll do my best… to be a good assistant.”

A student from class 1-D. A mysterious girl with a unique way of seeing things. She loves detective novels, fantasizing Takamiya as Holmes and herself as Watson, and enjoys investigating the case when Minami dissapears.

A pure-hearted detective girl with a scent of secrecy.

Tetsuya Ida (voiced by ???)

“Exactly… you are special.”

A part-time instructor at Sakura High School. He teaches Ryouko Shinonome’s class. He is actually secretly the chairman for the Special Intelligence Agency, a government spy orginication. He draws out Shinonome to the battlefield.

Morimura-Sensei (voiced by ???)

“How’s your body feeling, Kurabe-kun?”

The school nurse for Sakura High School. She is also the class teacher for class 1-B, which inculdes Juurou Kurabe and Iori Fuyusaka.

Shippo (voiced by ???)

“I know everything about you.”

A talking cat that appears before Megumi Yakushiji. He promises to grant Yakushiji’s wish to save Juurou, and sends her on a dangerous mission in return.

BJ (voiced by ???)

“LETS GO TO THE SUMMER GATE.”

A mysterious robot Natsuno Minami encouners. It is about 60 centimeters in height. He wants Minami to help him find his memory cells.

Takemi Wajima (voiced by Okaatsu Imaru)

“Lets settle this here.”

A deliquent from 1985. A gang leader at Nigakuri Tech High School. He is nicknamed “Nigakuri Take.” He has a mean face and uses foul language. He acts as if he is strong in fights, but often times get himself defeated.

Heizou Onishi (voiced by Motoi Koyanagi)

“Are you connected to the Special Agency? Can you tell me anything about them?”

A police officer from the juvenile crimes section of Kamazumi Ward police department. He strictly cracks down on juvenile crimes and violence, but has a kind heart and many of the kids who encountered him call him “Oni-hei” out of respect and friendliness. He and Wajima know each other.

■ Sentinels

There are four types of Sentinels that appear in the game, including the melee type, balanced type, ranged type, and aerial support type. In this article we are going to introduce the first, third, and fourth generation Sentinels.

First Generation Sentinel (Melee Type)

Sentinels specialized in close-range combat, and the oldest of them all. Sentinels no. 10, 11, and 12 are of this type.

Nenji Ogata, Ei Sekigahara, and Takatoshi Hijiyama pilot these three Sentinels.

Third Generation Sentinel (Ranged Type)

Sentinels specialized in ranged attacks. Sentinels no. 16, 17, and 19 are of this type.

Tomi Kisaragi, Natsuno Minami, and Keitaro Miura pilot these three Sentinels.

Fourth Generation Sentinel (Aerial Support Type)

The newest of the Sentinels that are able to fly using two gigantic tilt-rotors. Sentinels no. 20, 21, 22, and 23 are of this type. These were created in order to provide support for the other Sentinels.

Shuu Amikuchi, Yuki Takamiya, Renya Gouto, and Megumi Yakushiji pilot these four Sentinels.

■ Kaijuu

Kaijuu with unique abilities will attack the city to get to the terminal. Create your team according to the kaijuu forecasted and counter their attack.

Worker

Eight meters tall and rather small for a kaijuu, it still poses a huge threat to humans. They come in large numbers and barge through buildings like solider ants.

Jimora

A 35 meter-tall high kaijuu with huge weight and power. It has a thick layer of armor that missiles and machine cannons barely do any damage against. It is also a kaijuu that specializes in melee combat.

Twin Tail

A kaijuu that specializes in attacking with missiles and Gatling guns.

Drum Mine

A kaijuu filled with hexogen, which detonates itself when it comes close to its target for an explosive attack.

Apsos

A kaijuu that protects other kaijuu by shielding them. When a kaijuu is covered with its shield, they will not take any damage. Prioritizing this kaijuu before it emits its shield will be key to combat.

Hunter

A five meter-tall small scout drone kaijuu that flies with two large tilt-rotors. It uses formations and attacks with small lazers.

Drill Fly

A 30-meter flying / digging kaijuu. It attacks from the air using machine guns and missiles. It also has a high defense.

Tera Carrier

A giant airborne carrier-type kaijuu that attacks by releasing waves of Hunters. It has a thick layer of armor and is also capable of attackig with machine guns.

Mobile Fac

A mobile factory-type kaijuu that absorbs surrounding materials to create kaijuu inside itself. It continues to create small or medium-sized kaijuu as long as it is alive, so it is wise to destroy this before it bombards you.

High Quad

A heavy machine-type kaijuu that is over 100 meters tall. It has many weapons and thick armor. The plasma cannon fired from the upper middle part of its body is extremely strong, and even melts the armor of the Sentinels.

■ Kaijuu Appearance Tendency

You can check what type of kaijuu appear for each stage. The Sentinels have combat styles they specialize in, so organize your team accordingly.

■ Use Experience Points and Metachips to Strengthen Your Characters and Sentinels

Earn experience points and metachips from battles against kaijuu. Accumulating experience points will level up your characters and unlock character-specific skills.　Collecting　metachips will strengthen your Sentinels, and unlock new weapons and weapon upgrades. It also strengthens the functions of the terminal.

Juurou Kurabe (voiced by Hiro Shimono)

A 16 year-old boy who attends Sakura High School. He loves movies and watches a movie of some sort every day.

He felt a sense of discomfort in his daily life, until one day a giant robot unexpectedly appears.

Megumi Yakushiji (voiced by Maaya Uchida)

A serious girl who does not often show her emotions, but has strong affection for Kurabe, whose family has taken her in.

She is good at cooking, and makes bento lunches and dinner for Kurabe and Miura every day.

Ei Sekigahara (voiced by Daisuke Namikawa)

A boy who awakens next to the corpse of an unknown woman, and who is relentlessly being pursued by men in black clothes.

A message from his past self reads, “Escape from this world.”

Iori Fuyusaka (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki)

A regular, cheerful high school student who people tend to like. While her grades are average, the balance between the subjects she passes and the subjects she fails is generally pretty intense.

Lately she has been having strange dreams and has not been able to sleep. She also has a crush on Sekigahara.

Keitarou Miura (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa)

A thoughtful and serious young man who cares for his sister. His hat conceals a wound on his forehead.

He and Hijiyama are senpai and kouhai in the same town. He has an extremely resilient love for his country.

Natsuno Minami (voiced by Kaoru Sakura)

A energetic and honest member of the track and field team. She is also an occult enthusiast who dreams of genuinely interacting with aliens.

She has a family of four, including her parents and younger brother. She is close with her neighbor, old lady Tamao (Juurou Kurabe’s grandmother).

Shuu Amiguchi (voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki)

A playboy who was born into money and is good at sports. He is somewhat frivolous, though also extremely sociable, so most people around him tends to like him. In truth, he finds modern society to be a boring place.

Lately, he has been worried about a dream he often has and the words of a mysterious girl coming from the television.

Yuki Takamiya (voiced by Ami Koshimizu)

A skilled sukeban girl (delinquent girl) whose name is known even in other schools. She has a strong sense of justice and cares about her friends. She is always up for a fight.

Natsuno Minami, her childhood friend, is the only person she can talk to without feeling restrained.

Takatoshi Hijiyama (voiced by Takayuki Ishii)

An honest and manly young man.

He once mistook a boy named Okino for a girl due to the fact that he was cross-dressing, and has been teased by Okino for it. Although the situation was not all bad.

Tomi Kisaragi (voiced by MAO)

A girl who can easily come off as unrestrained and sassy, but has a strong mind with a quick wit that is able to overcome adversity.

Her nickname is Usami.

Nenji Ogata (voiced by Tomokazu Seki)

A juvenile delinquent with a compassionate and old-fashioned soul.

He became famous among local delinquents during middle school due to his great courage and standing strong in fights.

Ryouko Shinonome (voiced by Saori Hayami)

Her memory is cloudy following an accident in battle.

She has to take medicine regularly, otherwise she will get a severe headache and lose consciousness.

Renya Gouto (voiced by Jun Fukuyama)

A leader-like character with a sharp mind, who calmly leads the Sentinel pilots.

Engage Kiss was off to a great start! It has been praised by online viewers for its amazing animation and interesting plot. Demons also seek Orgonium. When they attack the Orgonium, the events are known as D Hazards. D Hazards are a secret and only a few people are aware of them. Private Military Companies, or PMCs, handle them. Episode 1 of "Engage Kiss" shows Shu, the title character. He runs a small PMC. He is very picky when it comes to taking on cases and is always short of cash. He is able to survive thanks to the support of Asano, his ex-girlfriend and an employee of a large PMC Shu used to work for. Shu is also supported and encouraged by Kisara, a pretty high school girl. Shu and Kisara signed a contract, and it was revealed that Shu is a demon. She supports him and helps with his demon extermination missions. "Bayron City ---- a Mega-Float city in the Pacific Ocean that doesn't belong any one nation. This city is home to Orgonium, a new resource for energy, and it is where special cases caused by D Hazards (demons) have been frequent."
