do you have any favorite vocaloid song series? (like kagepro, or just any that have music produced by a vocaP like milgram)

Note that I'm song/PV-centric when it comes to song series - I don't check out additional material (novels, manga etc) often. Also minimal Japanese, so it's mostly translations and mtl. Spoiler warning for mentioned series.

My number one has to be KEMU VOXX/PANDORA VOXX. A song series packed into an album that tells a coherent story, and I love kemu's music. Love the consistent theme of granting wishes in a way that makes the monkey's paw curl. The Jinsei Reset Button novel was unhinged (affectionate). Did I mention the music slaps. Gumi rock will never go out of fashion.

Then there's OwataP's Benzene series. There's no real plot to it but OwataP nails the atmosphere: everyone wants change but nobody moves, and everything is stagnant as a result. Nitrobenzene is the best song in this series and I will die on this hill.

ShuujinP's New Millenium series has to be mentioned. The songs themselves don't really hold up to my current tastes, but the plot does. Time travel? Apocalypses? The Kagamines being tragic? Hell yeah. This series definitely contributed to me being a lifelong Vocaloid fan.

Honorable mentions:

-Kagepro, but especially Heat Haze Days and Shintaro and Ayano's plots. I'm a sucker for timeloops and people facing their traumas what can I say.

-Treow/ELECTROCUTICA's CYGNUS CC series. It could've been just ARTICUTION and still be good, but I love Treow's music in general and can't complain about getting new stuff. Classy, melancholic atmosphere that Treow's songs nail.

-HitoshizukuxYama's Synchronicity series. A classic, really. Still some of the best RinLen duets out there, and a lovely fantasy plot to boot.

The protagonist is based off of 96neko, and named 黒音コウ (Kurone Kou), and the plot is set in the future, year 2129, where all of Japan's creative works are under control of the government. So music, literature, art are banned .. and in the midst of that appeared the protag, a gifted utahime (diva).

I'm not sure if you guys have heard of it, but this is a fangame with ShounenT in it, along with other utaite/NND people, too.

For those who are interested, you can check out these two namahousou atm. Sakatan's, Tkun's.

Sakatan invited ShuujinP, the creator of the game, as a guest on his nama atm. They are interviewing him about the game. Inocchi is in there atm, too.

It seems it reached full house, so Tkun is hosting a nama atm that shows Sakatan's nama. So nice of him, right? (●´ω`●)

I'll probably make a separate post about the game later.
