Un estudio de Harvard predice que la próxima pandemia provendrá del suministro de carne de EE. UU.

Un informe de la Facultad de Derecho de Harvard y la Universidad de Nueva York predice que es probable que la próxima pandemia surja del suministro de carne de Estados Unidos.

El nuevo informe cita la Agenda Una Salud de la Organización Mundial de la Salud y dice que la pandemia también podría surgir del comercio de pieles, de un zoológico de mascotas o incluso de nuestras mascotas.

Las mismas personas que hicieron todo lo posible para convencernos de que el SARS-CoV-2 surgió a través de la evolución natural en la naturaleza decían en privado que estaban convencidos de que provenía de un laboratorio.

Ahora bien, si se reconociera públicamente que el SARS-CoV-2 es un escape de laboratorio diseñado genéticamente, la conclusión obvia sería que debemos cerrar gran parte de la investigación sobre ganancia de función que condujo a su creación.

No hace falta decir que eso sería un revés importante para la agenda de bioseguridad, que necesita pandemias para justificar la centralización del poder y la toma de decisiones.

La transmisión zoonótica no es la amenaza que se supone que es

El quid de la cuestión es que la transmisión zoonótica es extremadamente rara y la mayoría, si no todas, las pandemias globales con resultados letales se remontan a experimentos de laboratorio.

Como solo un ejemplo, USA Today reiteró recientemente la afirmación desacreditada de que el brote de ébola de 2013 en África occidental fue causado por carne de animales silvestres infectada. (Otra hipótesis ampliamente difundida es que surgió de murciélagos infectados).

Sin embargo, como se detalla en “Resulta que el Ébola probablemente también se filtró desde un laboratorio”, hay pruebas convincentes que vinculan ese brote con un laboratorio de investigación dirigido por Estados Unidos en Kenema, Sierra Leona.

Y, curiosamente, muchos de los mismos individuos, empresas y organizaciones involucradas en la epidemia de Ébola también han sido vinculados con la supuesta creación del SARS-CoV-2.

Sin embargo, la idea de que los patógenos saltarán sobre las especies y matarán a los humanos es una táctica de miedo útil, y ahora está siendo impulsada como nunca antes bajo One Health, una agenda global que permitirá a los burócratas no electos de la OMS centralizar el poder y tomar decisiones relacionadas con la dieta. , agricultura y ganadería, contaminación ambiental, movimientos de poblaciones, atención sanitaria y mucho más, para todo el mundo.

Básicamente, revisa todas las diferentes áreas de la vida y el comercio que involucran el contacto entre animales y humanos, por breve o raro que sea, y las hipotéticas cadenas de transmisión zoonótica posteriores. No es sorprendente que en este informe se haga referencia repetida a los documentos de One Health.

En general, la agenda de Una Salud exige minimizar o eliminar cierto contacto entre animales y humanos, esterilizar las áreas donde se mantienen o sacrifican los animales y/o aumentar el uso de antibióticos y vacunas en animales en todos los ámbitos. También exige un aumento masivo de la biovigilancia y las pruebas.

En contraste, el informe en cuestión se centra principalmente en acciones legislativas y regulatorias para reducir las enfermedades zoonóticas, incluida la posible prohibición de ciertas prácticas animales que “presentan un gran riesgo pero relativamente poco valor, económico o de otro tipo”.

¿Se utilizarán las advertencias de este informe para justificar la transición a la carne falsa? Ciertamente no me sorprendería.

Facts:

The spouses Daniel P. Martinez, Sr. and Natividad de Guzman-Martinez were the owners of a parcel of land by TCT No. 54334, as well as the house constructed thereon. Daniel, Sr., executed a Last Will and Testament directing the subdivision of the property into three lots. He then handed down the three lots to each of his sons, namely, Rodolfo, Manolo and Daniel, Jr. Manolo was designated as the administrator of the estate. After the death of the spouses, one of their sons found a deed of sale purportedly signed by his father on September 15, 1996.

Rodolfo filed a complaint for annulment of deed of sale and cancellation of TCT No. 237936 against his brother Manolo and his sister-in-law Lucila before the RTC. He also filed a criminal complaint for estafa through falsification of a public document in the Office of the City Prosecutor against Manolo, which was elevated to the Department of Justice.

Spouses Manolo and Lucila Martinez wrote Rodolfo, demanding that he vacate the property. Rodolfo ignored the letter and refused to do so. Spouses Martinez filed a complaint for unlawful detainer against Mayor Rodolfo Reyes in the MTC of Manila. They alleged that they were the owners of the property covered by TCT No. 237936, and that the matter was referred to the barangay for conciliation and settlement, but none was reached. In his reply, Mayor Reyes alleged that the complaint failed to state a condition precedent, namely, that earnest efforts for an amicable settlement of the matter between the parties had not been exerted, but that none reached.

 Issue:

Whether or not Art. 150 of the Family Code or earnest efforts for amicable settlement is necessary before the filing of this case.

 Ruling:

No, Art. 151 of the Family Code provide, thus: “Art. 151. No suit between members of the same family shall prosper unless it should appear from the verified complaint or petition that earnest efforts toward a compromise have been made, but that the same have failed. If it is shown that no such efforts were, in fact, made, the case must be dismissed.

This rule shall not apply to cases which may not be the subject of compromise under the Civil Code. The phrase "members of the family" must be construed in relation to Article 150 of the Family Code, to wit:

“Art. 150. Family relations include those:

(1) Between husband and wife;

(2) Between parents and children;

(3) Among other ascendants and descendants; and

(4) Among brothers and sisters, whether of the full or half-blood.”

Hence, a sister-in-law or brother-in-law is not included in the enumeration. In this case, the decision of the CA that the petitioners were mandated to comply with Article 151 of the Family code and that they failed to do so is erroneous.

Mrs. Gayon is plaintiff’s sister-in-law, whereas her children are his nephews and/or nieces. Inasmuch as none of them is included in the enumeration contained in said Art. 217 – which should be construed strictly, it being an exception to the general rule – and Silvestre Gayon must necessarily be excluded as party in the case at bar, it follows that the same does not come within the purview of Art. 222, and plaintiff’s failure to seek a compromise before filing the complaint does not bar the same.

Second. The petitioners were able to comply with the requirements of Article 151 of the Family Code because they alleged in their complaint that they had initiated a proceeding against the respondent for unlawful detainer in the Katarungang Pambarangay, in compliance with P.D. No. 1508; and that, after due proceedings, no amicable settlement was arrived at, resulting in the barangay chairman’s issuance of a certificate to file action.

Na imprensa, a reação não foi diferente: em sua passagem pelo renomado festival americano SXSW (South by Southwest), ganhou críticas calorosas – o Los Angeles Times disse que “o primeiro longa de Lázaro Ramos é uma ficção pungente e assustadora e mostra com firmeza a situação complexa dos afro-latinos”, enquanto o LA Weekly afirmou que é “o longa mais apaixonado, inventivo, inteligente e revigorante do ano”. Para o diretor, o filme é um alerta sobre coisas que a gente não quer que aconteça. Ele espera sensibilizar as pessoas com entretenimento, já que tem “momentos de humor e momentos de emoção, que vão para além da compreensão racional política”. Sobre qualquer comparação com o cenário mundial, Lázaro diz que “é uma distopia, assim como tantas outras do audiovisual, como ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ e ‘Black Mirror’. É um texto que veio do teatro, em 2011, pensando um futuro impossível de acontecer. Infelizmente, de lá pra cá, muito se assemelha a pontos da história contemporânea e, aí, a ficção, mais uma vez, se confunde com a realidade”. Sinopse: Num futuro distópico, o governo brasileiro decreta uma medida provisória que obriga os cidadãos negros a ‘voltarem’ para a África como forma de reparar os tempos de escravidão. O advogado Antônio (Alfred Enoch), sua companheira, a médica Capitú (Taís Araujo), e seu primo, o jornalista André (Seu Jorge) decidem resistir, uns confinados em suas casas, outros no Afrobunker – movimento que vai lutar pelo direito de permanecerem em seu país. Medida Provisória tem produção de Lereby e Lata Filmes e coprodução Globo Filmes e Melanina Acentuada, distribuição da Elo Company e codistribuição da H2O Films. Em Salvador, o filme será exibido no Cinemark do Salvador Shopping, no Cinépolis do Salvador Norte, na rede UCI (Shopping Barra, Shopping da Bahia e Shopping Paralela), no Cine Metha Glauber Rocha e no Circuito Saladearte (Paseo, MAM e Cinema do Museu).
