The Fifth Element has long been a favourite movie of mine when it comes to production design. In fact, I love anything retro futurism and this movie has it in spades. The costumes were designed by fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier and you can really see the influence of his style sensibilities on the costuming. Each look is cheeky, camp and a little bit sexy.

Saturday Salutations!

Hope you're all having a super last weekend of August. Here are a couple of photos from my Wild Darling family for the 'Camp Sim' theme month.

First up is a beautiful starry night view of the Eiffel Tower from the river in Champs Les Sim where Ana traveled to get some important information from a local Sim for a friend back home. Even the bridge is nicely lit up at night.

Here's a cryptid entry for Kory & Ana's son, Korbin who just graduated from high school with top honors and was the class valedictorian. He was also voted to most likely become a rock star. His werewolf side seems to have grown a blond beard on this full moon night.

That's all for now and Korbin will soon share the latest family news as he gets settled into his dorm room at university where he will be studying Fine Arts in the next two visits (aka semesters)

Which of your characters do you think is most likely to be arrested by the police and why?

hmmm... One of my world building sims (i.e. somehow related to the story but never featured) actually gets arrested quite a bit once he hits his teen years. His name is Korbin and he's Everly and Kiana's second cousin once removed (I think)...The grandson of Pavlina (the one who wrote the book about the Ingebretsons).

Of my main characters....my heart says teenage/younger Ryland. Only because he had such a sense of entitlement lol. Rules didn't apply to him.

2022 Australia Kangaroos vs Fiji Bati Rugby League Live on free-to-air Aussie television

Live on free-to-air Australia Kangaroos vs Fiji Bati Rugby League World Cup 2022 For the first time in RLWC history, the men’s, women’s and wheelchair tournaments will take place together in 2022. Australia will open their World Cup account on the 15th of October when they take on Fiji.

This year’s Rugby League World Cup could be the most hotly-contested yet, with some huge names moving away from the norm of Australia or New Zealand, and instead pledging their allegiance to other nations.

Fiji have made the semi-finals of the last three World Cups and are looking to go one step further and qualify for the final at Old Trafford on November 19.

They face Australia in their opening World Cup match at Headingley on October 15, with Italy and Scotland the other teams in Pool B.

The Bati will be based in Rochdale and begin their preparations for the World Cup with a warm-up match against hosts England at Salford on October 7.

Live broadcast every Rugby League World Cup game

The BBC will broadcast all 61 games for the men’s, women’s and wheelchair World Cup tournaments.

It is the first time all three editions of the tournament will be broadcast live on free-to-air UK television.

Every England, Scotland,Fiji, Australia and Wales game will be shown on BBC One or BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.

Chase: Finally, those up for elimination. None of you were able to defeat someone else in a challenge. Personally, I would prefer a man who can hold his own against me if he needs to, in case I ever lose control in vampire form. Despite that, Noah, I still haven’t forgotten our night in the hot tub. You get a rose. Korbin, I had so much fun playing foosball against you this morning. I want you to have a rose as well.

Chase: Kolton...

Chase: I can tell you put in more effort after your brother left. Thank you. Which means...

Chase: Coty, I’m sorry, but it’s your time to go.

Coty: What! But Chase, don’t you think we get along great?

Chase: I do, Coty. You’ve made many attempts to get to know me over our days together. But I’ve also noticed you discarding the roses I give you at the rose ceremonies, and I just don’t feel a spark between us. I would be happy to stay friends, but I’m here to find love.

Coty: Thank you for everything, Chase. I’ve had fun getting to know you and spend time with my brothers.

Cris leapfrogged to first thanks to his amazing romantic connection with Chase during their date. Donte and Irving got great boosts from their dates as well. Micheal took a hit that was difficult to fairly recover due to the fighting (and there will be even more problems the next round...) Despite Kolton have ZERO romance points, Coty’s two points weren’t impressive enough to negative his overall lower score.
