Eli's Simblreen 2022 Masterpost

Thank you everyone who sent Delta and I asks the past 2 weekends! We really enjoyed the cheesy jokes and nice messages!

I had a lot of fun my first time participating in Simblreen. I hope you enjoyed your treats! For everyone who missed out, I've scrounged up some leftovers to hand out. I'll leave them out on the porch for you to grab at your leisure ;)

Week 1

On day 1, I shared this silly Bony Hands Skirt set. I was inspired after @thatsimslady sent me the pic on the left and knew it would be a great addition to the game.

On day 2. I shared the Chalk-or-Treat blackboards, a simple recolor of a base game wall deco with fresh wood and chalk art.

Day 3 was a small CAS set for kids. First, the Hallow-onesies set, a 5 piece recolor of a kids' Get Together pajama, great for watching scary movies in.

Week 2

Had a bit of trouble getting the first gift of week 2 working correctly without its original pack but I did manage to do it. (thanks Esther!)

Day 4's Have A Sweet ottomans seemed like a good candidate for some Halloween recolors. Originally an SE mesh, I've made them base game compatible.

And finally, here's the treat I was most excited to share, my Spooky Mingos as they appear to be called at retail? I saw these guys IRL one time and they're so silly. Skeleton flamingo is one of my favorite Inexplicably Skeletal Animals for Halloween time. I upscaled & cleaned up the original flamingo texture, and then painstakingly hand painted the skeleton swatch. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Yaaay, the most fun event of the year, Simblreen 2022 is just around the corner!! It is my 7th time joining! You can collect special CC items from me by participating in the ghost hunting event on my Tumblr!! 👻

1. How you ask? Every day throughout the event one ghost 👻 is gonna be hiding on my page somewhere - leading to a secret post, my treat of the day. The ghost will stay at the same position for 24 hours, so you can participate any time, timezone differences are not a problem. Once you found the ghost clicking on it will lead you to your treat. The ghosts will be in visible places on my tumblr page. You might have to look around my site a bit, clicking on tabs and things, but I will not hide them in my individual posts, you don’t have to go through them. Use the desktop tumblr for hunting, not the mobile app.

2. How many treats? I’ll have 3 treats for the event, I’ll hide 1 ghost 👻 each day. (The next day another ghost will be hidden on a different location, etc.)

3. When? Weekend 1: October 21: one 👻 roaming around my page (gift #1) October 22: one 👻 roaming around my page (gift #2) October 23: one 👻 roaming around my page (gift #3)

Weekend 2: October 28th, 29th and 30th: all three previous ghosts are hidden around my page at the same time through the whole weekend, last chance to find them all! (gift #1, #2 and #3)

4. Help, I can’t find the ghost(s)! Will you release your treats after the event? You can ask for a hint through my inbox every day, but of course, I will release all treats to the public after the event!

5. Can I post pictures of the treats? I ask you to keep them secret on the first weekend, but from 24th on you are free to post pictures. But please don’t share the links to the treats until I post them to the public!

Simblreen 2022

I’m participating in Simblreen 2022 again this year! I loved interacting with all of you last year and can’t wait to do it again.

When?

I’ll be turning my porchlight on during Weekend 1 and Weekend 2. That’s October 22 and 23, and October 29 and 30. I haven’t decided what time yet, but I’ll update you as the weekend approaches.

Treats?

The treats for Weekend 1 and Weekend 2 are different! They are of course for TS3 only. No scary tricks. The treats this year are Safe For Work. All you need to do is ask or DM me “Trick or treat!” or even better, come with a fun rhyme. If you can’t make it, I’ll post the treats publicly in November.

I know I’m late with this, but....With the release of HSY, my teens wanted to have a Spooky prom, but I was lacking outfits. Since Simblreen was coming up, I decided to make some perfect spooky prom outfits for your teen sims! 

- I will be participating in BOTH weekends! - I will have a different gift every day, so make sure to stop by! - All gifts will be posted after Simblreen!

SIMBLREEN 2022 PARTICIPATION POST

I am officially participating in Simblreen again this year. Pesky work commitments can’t keep me down!

I don’t have any set times for my porchlight to be on, but I will be around a lot all three days. No tricks, just treats.

YEAR IN REVIEW | 2023

To be honest, I think 2023 belongs in the same garbage bin 2020 is rotting in. It started out fine. But as we reached the end, it got worse and worse. Still, I cannot resist looking back as I do every year.

While I did not achieve all my goals this year, I did do one: graduation. This is my greatest achievement, and one I’m super proud of. There’s also the one I almost achieved: finishing E04 of SNTM. I almost did it! Only a few videos left, which I hope to finish by February. But you know how it is: make plans, life runs over them. Anyway, here's what happened in the world of ironicscavenger in 2023.

THE HIGHTLIGHT

I’m not sure there was one on the blog itself, but I did graduate as a psychologist. However, I talked enough about that. Just know it was the highlight of my year. My mom said she hadn't seen me that genuinely happy in a while.

MY FAVORITE POST PER MONTH

Well, then, these are my favorite post for each month. Just to clarify, however many notes they got does not influence the decision to include them. As you can see, there are many gaps. Life got overwhelming this past couple of months. So, there’s very little done. Anyway, here goes.

January | I took an unexpectedly long hiatus and just played videogames for a while. So the end of the holiday special is the only post I got.

February | I made a sim for @madebycoffee’s BC.

March | Not a thing. Just two reblogs the entire month.

April | I was having problems with my computer and could not get back to sim stuff. But I did say hi, at least.

May | I worked on the Emerson story a bit. Also, I got a diagnosis for a problem I’ve been having all my life. The answers to a lot of questions, finally.

June | Once again, not a thing. I was finishing up school, and it was impossible to do anything but focus on that.

July | Same thing. Two reblogs, and that’s it.

August | It gets interesting again. I finished school, got a bit of a makeover for the blog, and got more active on social media.

September | SNTM got back, and I took some screens of Saffron and Piper in Chestnut Ridge. Honestly, it was just an excuse to put Piper on cowboy boots and cowboy hat. No regrets. Also, I decided to set up a discord server.

October | I had an incredible time at simblreen. But I honestly, I think everything stopped after the bombardments happened. I have mostly been blogging about Palestine since. So, you know, Free Palestine.

November | I published my simblreen treats (1 & 2 | 3), and kept reblogging about Palestine.

December | I did not feel the holiday spirit. I just had a quiet weekend with my parents and cousins that my mom was taking care of. SNTM came back again. Still talking about Palestine.

SNTM

Not a lot happened, but we are so close to finishing the episode. After I did a poll to decide the show's fate, I got a green light from all of you to make some changes. But I admit I’m not sure what I want to do yet. For now, the show goes on as it is. There’s a special episode that I’ve been planning since the beginning, and I really want to do it in video format. But it takes a lot on me. We shall see what happens.

This was not an easy year, but you guys are still here, following me. That’s gotta be some kind of miracle. I love you all so much. Even when it gets tough, I could never abandon this community. I’ll still be here, even when I no longer have anything to offer.

Hello everyone 🎃🎃🎃, I hope you are great today.

Today I bring a little post for you all, with a little explanation on what will be my dynamic at this year's Simblreen.

It's my first time participating so I'm going a little blind, but I decided to do a kind of "treasure hunter" dynamic for all of you.

How is that? you will ask yourself.

Well, it's simple: This weekend (October 22 and 23) and the following weekend (October 29 and 30) I'll be hiding some candies (🍬🍭🍫) in some posts on my tumblr that you will have to look for. Once you find these candies, click on them and these candies will guide you to the link of your precious gifts.

There will be TWO hunts per day, as long as my porch light is on (I'll do a separate post to let everyone know when I turn my light on and off, so you know what times the hunt will be active). That means you'll have to "hunt down" 8 posepacks in that days.

You will also be able to participate in the "witching hour" (on the 21st and 28th) which, as its title says, will be one hour on the scheduled days where you will find 1 more package, giving a total of 9 Pose packages for this Simblreen. (That's right, you will have 2 chances to get this pack as it will only be available for 1 hour.)

You will have to be aware of the lighting of my light.

On the 31st, I will be publishing all the packages in case you missed any.

But, don't miss the hunt. It will be fun.

El día de hoy traigo un pequeño post para ustedes, explicándoles un poco lo que será mi dinámica en el Simblreen de este año.

Es mi primera vez participando así que voy un poco a ciegas, pero decidí hacer una especie de dinámica de "cazador de tesoros" para todos ustedes.

¿Cómo es eso? te preguntarás.

Bueno, es sencillo: Este fin de semana (22 y 23 de octubre) y el siguiente fin de semana (29 y 30 de octubre) estaré escondiendo algunos caramelos (🍬🍭🍫) en algunas publicaciones de mi tumblr que tendrán que buscar. Una vez encuentren dichos caramelos, denle click y dichos caramelos les guiarán al link de su preciado regalo.

Habrán DOS cacerías por día, mientras mi luz de porche esté encendida (Haré un post a parte para avisar a todos cuando encienda y apague mi luz, para que sepan en qué horarios estará activa la cacería). Eso significa que tendrán que "cazar" 8 paquetes de poses en esos cuatro días.

También podrán participar en la "hora de las brujas" (los días 21 y 28) que, como su título indica, será UNA hora los días pautados en donde encontrarán 1 paquete más, dando en total 9 Paquete de poses para este Simblreen. (Así es, tendrán 2 oportunidades de conseguir este paquete, ya que solo estará disponible 1 hora).

Tendrán que estar pendiente del encendido de mi luz.

Flying Robot Vacuum Witch Poses & Pose Accessory

I am so excited to share this collab with all of you for Simblreen! I had this idea a long time ago, but did not know how to make pose accessories, or poses. This robot vacuum pose accessory was made by me, extracted & edited from the game. Thank you to @xldkx for encouraging me to keep trying this and offering to help me, I will figure out posing eventually! A new friend, who wishes to be anon due to shyness, has made the poses. She also attached the CAS object to stigmata, because for some reason my rigs aren’t registering the bones. I should have done this much earlier but due to my limited internet, I’m making do with what I could lol, But yeah, this is a formal announcement of my participation :D I was supposed to have a porchlight on but due to connection problems, I decided to just release it all for public. There will be 2 treats on the first weekend and one full set for the second weekend. I’m also showcasing some of the content to be released through my food sim edits so if you want to know what I’ll be releasing, be on the look out for that 👀👀 This is my first time participating so I’m excited for this event and I hope we all could enjoy it :D

Hello everyone, I am glad to announce that I will be participating in Simblreen for 2022!

I will be posting one treat each day of the two weekends of Simblreen (Saturday and Sunday only, I won’t be doing Friday since I work most of the day), possibly with a few bonus treats here and there! I am especially excited as this is my first year creating custom content and I will have a couple new frankenmeshes to share!
