Happy Easter if you’re celebrating! And happy Sunday if you’re not celebrating.

To me, well, it’s not that big of a deal. I mean, we keep some traditions, but that’s it. I’m really glad about having the Easter break though. I actually don’t mind it. In NC and many places along the mid Atlantic, there are public beaches next to private homes. They have restrooms because of the public access. I just figured it was that and they were inspired by seeing things like that

The public toilet was forcefully build there by the city council after a senior council member had a very unfortunate bladder incident during the burial of his favorite pet on the nearby pet cemetary. The owner of the lot complained but to no avail.- Sometimes making it your own is only a matter of storytelling. Afterall there are enough real houseowners saddled with highways, windmills and what not right besides their otherwise idylic gardens.

if i were you, i would just hide it with a bunch of trees and rocks. make just a little nook of natural elements and build the houses in the other side of the lot (it that makes sense)

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll have to give it a ponder. Usually I make do with what we have (and have been since the early days of Simming when we had to pretend our Sims could see the neighboring lots! XD), and if this were for my own gameplay save or for storytelling purposes, I would totally go the route of covering it up or making up a story for it. But when I’m building primarily to share with others, I usually try to make my lots match their surroundings and look good from all angles, because I don’t want the lot to look weird or unfinished. But maybe that’s not a big deal since I can’t control where people place the lots anyway. ;-p

You actually can if you enable debug cheats, shift-click and choose “delete object”. However, if you do that, there’s no way to bring it back if you change your mind.

How did you do the fence around the tree?

It not actually a tree its shrubbery that i sized up to make bigger. I then just used the fence tool and put it aroud that area! Feel to ask for fruther detail if this isn’t clear :D

Hello my mood is a rollercoaster and I don’t like it. Might be because I hate rollercoasters.

Last replies before something exciting drops! Well, at least for me it’s exciting and I hope you’ll like it too. I think the first time I mentioned the possibility of something like this was last year in August? I had so much fun doing it. I’m still not done, actually, and I don’t know how long this thing will be, but I do love working on it. Eh, enough talking about that, I’ll ramble more when you guys get a better idea of what I’m up to!

So yeah, the plan is to post this thing, then usual Rose Legacy until maybe the end of gen 5? That would probably be the best, this generation has been too long. I mean, I’ve been playing it since May and you guys got to see it for the first time in September. I’m really slow. Well, not always. A month ago, I started playing Not So Berry and I’m actually done with the Mint generation. That is what I’ll post after Roses. And then...who knows, probably Ravens again. The thing will be posted in “chapters” when I feel like it. So you might get like three weeks of NSB, then the thing, then NSB again...you get the idea. Speaking of NSB, it’s a wild time.

I’m also thinking of some drama-free summer save again, kind of like the last year when I posted Ezra and Carrie’s World Adventures. That was a lot of fun. Perhaps this year I could focus on Island Paradise...hm. We’ll see. I just like planning, can you tell?

Heeeeeeey!!! I’m back at uni, working on a thesis chapter and, surprisingly, feeling a lot more inspired than I did over the summer. I kind of need a bit of a gaming interlude now and then and Sims 2 works really well in that context, since it runs a lot more smoothly on my laptop than Sims 3 and is more “casually playable” than Sims 4. Plus, I’ve just gone on a CC download spree and I’m itching to try it out...

My Crushes for this week!!

Usually by the end of the week, I have my rambling part of replies done. However, it’s Sunday afternoon and I still don’t know what to ramble about. Yikes. Well, at least I’m not sick anymore, that was terrible last week.

Oh, I know what to ramble about! Yesterday I woke up at 4 am to watch an ice hockey match and it was worth it. I slept through most of second third to be honest, but that’s just because I didn’t get enough sleep at night and I needed more than my three hours long nap. But hey, I had to finish something in my game, okay? Anyway, when I woke up, the second third was almost over. I checked twitter, saw Ledecká won gold medal, thought “okay, that’s great”. That was it, I didn’t realize what the hell was going on and how great that actually was. Then the break came, they showed how she won it and I don’t even know why, I just started crying a little.

So yeah. If you ever see me starting a sentence with “I don’t really care about the Olympic Games, but...”, know that it’s a lie, I care about the Olympic Games a lot. Also, that was beautiful. It was just beautiful. Then our hockey team won too, so that was also awesome. And they won again today! I’m so proud.

Okay, here’s an advice: Don’t ever let me talk about sports. I’m not that obsessed, but when I start talking about them, it looks like I am very obsessed.

Legacy updates! Give it a few weeks and we’ll switch to sims 4. And then back to sims 3. And boy, you’ll see some things. I don’t know how I’m going to handle them.

Oh, by the way, my sister left me for a week, can you believe that? She went skiing. smh sister why didn’t you take me with you you know i haven’t skied for two years and i miss it

I was told that it’s something that can come with growing up and getting into teenage years, but it’s going to fix itself eventually...well, I’ve been wearing glasses since like 2011, my teenage years will be over soon (not so soon but still, I’m 18, that’s pretty close to 20s) and it doesn’t seem to be magically fixing itself! I’m not really mad though, it would be weird for me to not wear glasses anymore.
