Simple Patterns
I can do a lot of things,
But only at the basic level.
Can knit and sew, embroider too.
There'll be no great reveal.
It's just the basic steps I know,
The small building blocks to show,
But each of my projects seems to grow.
It's not complex or difficult,
They're the simplest kinds of things,
But my patterns are enough for me
And that's all that matters

Changing this blog's title to "Approximately 23 Unfinished Sewing Projects" in an attempt to publicly shame myself into maybe finishing some of them.

- fluffy mini bunnies
- little t-rex
- little llama

- mini blorbo
- peas in a pod
- happy pill

The rest of these patterns are for sale for $2 in my Ravelry store:

- fluffy baby seal
- little crow, phoenix, and peacock
- mini cthulhu
- Velociraptors (based on Jurassic Park not on real science)
- basket the fish (idk why I put this one behind a paywall, someone remind me and I'll make it free when I have more time)
I wrote these over many years and at many different points in my pattern making journey, so if you are trying to make one and it doesn't make sense, please let me know. I've learned a lot about making patterns since I wrote some of these and I don't always remember to go back and update them (the ones that are for sale should be fine it's some of the earlier free ones I'm not sure about lol)

I've spent the past week (very slowly) working out a dragon pattern for pick-up weaving. It started off way too far into dino territory, but I managed to drag it closer to 'dragon' by my second attempt. Hoping to get it all ironed out on my next go! Still kind of fond of the silly dino look, so I might go back and embrace the dinosaur direction in a future band.
This pattern was born from staring at the hill in the experimental section of my last band and realizing it looked like an eyeball. Maybe even kinda sorta a lizard head if you squint at it. (See below)
Note: They would look more similar if my tension wasn't so wildly different. But the eyeball? Exactly the same pattern.
