One of my favourite furniture sets over the years has always been the Tivoli, Plantation set by blake_boy over at ModTheSims. As well as some super cute dressers by rgdyanne over at Sims2Artists. I heavily recommend both sets with this pack.

I've used it way too many times and around October of 2022, I ended up feeling like I wanted to work on some addons for it. I've always wanted to get into making actual objects in Sims 2 since I love making things for another irrelevant game I mod. I decided this would be a great way to try and learn.

There is also the option of desk widening! I find that on the original desks, my sims' PCs would hang off the edge which is not ideal.

I'll keep them separate in case you want to keep the originals :) Same filename and GUID as the original. I did try to make the wider ones a separate GUID but it didn't work so I'm gonna leave that for now and figure it out at some point.

me and my sister were laughing at this hairstyle but idk i think this is actually kind of nice now that I'm looking at it. like this sim is managing to pull off having HALF a bob with a fringe and the cute bow braid at the back.... only the baddest the baddest could do this.

(this was just a test run of the sims 2 because i finally got it to work I'm gonna download loads more cc esp for skin tones and makeup but tbh.... i still like this like its very cute. this is what i think i look like on a daily basis - not an insult btw)

Why had he done it?

It had felt so right in the moment, but now--now what?

They’d been seen. Was he ready to live with the consequences of his actions? Did this mean he wanted to leave Anna, to be with Citlali?

What was Citlali doing now?

Was he in love with Citlali?

What would his children think? His neighbors?

How would Anna feel?

Peter paced back and forth for what felt like hours. But, eventually, he had to go home.

Anna had waited up for him. She didn’t react immediately to his approach, and he thought at first she had managed to fall asleep in her uncomfortable position. Then, slowly, she raised her head and stiffly pushed herself upright.

“Peter. Can we talk?”

In a single moment Peter came to a firmer decision than he had in his hours of muddled agonizing. She had some kind of speech planned; he would spare her the charade. He could do that for her, at least.

“I kissed Citlali.”

“Oh.”

Peter had expected more. Was that it? He would have preferred righteous rage, storming tears--anything but this stoic acceptance. Maybe he had been right--she had never cared for him at all.

“It was just a kiss. I’ve never been unfaithful to you before. With Citlali or anyone else.”

Nothing. She absorbed his words as impassively as a wall.

“But I think... I need some time to think. On my own. So. Will you and the kids be OK?”

“Oh. ...Yes. I suppose so.”

“Well. All right, then.”

tbh the fact that it’s heavily implied that Chapter 2 was meant to take place immediately after the events of Chapter 1 makes me (and my OC Valerie by extension) feel even more guilty about the fact that just over an entire month has passed in-game since Jake went missing 😬😬
