✨ LORE PREVIEW: RESONANCE. ✨
"Science is a way of talking about the universe in words that bind it to a common reality. Magic is a method of talking to the universe in words that it cannot ignore. The two are rarely compatible." - Neil Gaiman, The Books of Magic Resonance is the common name for magical abilities possessed by the organic creatures of three of Convergence's four planets. It is uniquely environmental — people from these planets have abilities that are attuned to their surroundings, although different cultural systems tend to inform how each society believes magic works. Only organic beings have access to planetary resonance, so those who have pursued bionic enhancements will find themselves becoming less and less magical, as they become more and more machine. Post-Convergence, Sentients, the androids who have since achieved their own intelligence and awareness, have no access to resonance at all, regardless of what environment they are from. Check out a general preview of each planet below (and watch out for more lore drops!) ⚡AUBR features elemental magic involving plants, poisons, electricity, and air; its manipulative magic involves things like biological adaptation, technomancy, probability, and chance. Aubrians believe that magic is karmic — a system built on cause and effect, destiny, and choices. 🌊 ICRILLES features elemental magic involving fire, water, earth, and magnetism; its manipulative magic involves things like gravity, conjuration, enhanced physiology, and life force manipulation. Icrillians believe that magic is embodied — a system built on the exchange of living energy for an empowered result. 🧊 SIOCLITE features elemental magic involving light, dark, cold, metals, and minerals; its manipulative magic involves things like death, decay, entropy, telekinesis, time dilation, and transmutation. Siocletians believe that magic is both alchemical — a system of transformation — and inscrutable — prone to creating unexpected outcomes. Characters hailing from each of these planets do not have to specify a particular kind of resonance, so long as their expression of magic fits the planet's traits. Most individuals tend to favor specific planetary traits — for example, on Icrilles, a person may prefer water over fire — but it possible to have a general grasp on many of them. We want to let our members flexibly approach their character's abilities, but we'll also keep an eye out for any unreasonable powergaming of the resonance system. Keep an eye out for our other upcoming lore drops on each of the planets, Convergence itself, bionics, and synthetics, or drop us an ask if you have questions!

Healing
Much of healing is done through potions and herbalism and can pass easily in the non-magical world as home remedies. Words and incantations are a pivotal part of the preparation of a true magical potion, but that isn’t something that is necessarily known to the person receiving the healing. As almost every plant has some magical connotation, the combination of herbs for a potion is something carefully selected with what is to be healed in mind, be it a physical, mental, spiritual, or magical ailment. Healing may not be as powerful as it should be if there is a curse or other unknown factor causing the illness. Magic also is not a cure-all and, short of making Deals, will certainly not cure any permanent injury, chronic disease, disorder, or perpetual state that isn’t truly an illness in need of a cure. Attempts to cure what should not be seen as a problem to cure by the intended patient have been known to come back on the overly aggressive healer, plaguing their own state of mind or health.
In addition to the herbal preparations, healing can be done through the use of effigies, not unlike the effigies used in cursing. The difference is all in the intent of the creator of the effigy. Noting the similarity with cursing and healing, one can also use similar methods of healing a location of malicious energies, potentially even hauntings. There is no guarantee this healing is successful, as what is unseen can simply be retreating and waiting for the time to strike. This is why further protection and wards would also be needed.

Vampire Canons | familia aut mors
Dimos • 2345 years old • Sire of familia aut mors 20 Points | Suggested face claim is Alvaro Morte
A prominent philosopher in ancient Greece, he had garnered a large following because of his unique perspectives. They were encouraged and later seduced by Pestilence, who saw potential in their thoughts, but he was dying of an unknown disease, watching their life slip away. Pestilence came to him with an offer, a way to continue on without dying. Turned into a vampire at 46s years old, he had no idea what he was in for. With a thirst for blood, he took to the world with a new zeal. Deeply intellectual, they have spent centuries at the cutting edge of education. Have developed an addiction to Pestilence’s blood, which gives him cryptic visions. He is currently trying to figure out what the Franchise is and how to transcend his current predicament of vampirism.
Played By: OPEN!!
Koide Eho • 787 Years Old • Primary Second of familia aut mors 15 Points | Suggested face claim is Karen Fukuhara
Unlike most vampires, Eho doesn’t hold reverence for the time she’s walked this Earth. She prefers to live in the current age and for that hasn’t fallen prey to morose pining for a past she hated. Only her sire and her lover know the path that she’s walked, turning at the age of 29, and why she doesn’t like to talk about it. She’s a big believer in vampire superiority, believing by focusing on the future and anything beyond cooperation that the world will ultimately be a better place. Determined, focused and reverent to her sire, she's the one that keeps the Family together, unafraid of being disciplinary, but she usually leaves that for the other second. Her relationship with Sofia is being kept a secret because of Sinan Kizil, if he knew that they were involved there would be hell to pay.
Played By: OPEN!!
Sakina Kincaid • 310 Years Old • Second of familia aut mors 15 Points | Suggested face claim is Zazie Beetz
Opposite to Eho, Sakina is proud of where she’s come from, and is willing and able to brag about what she’s survived to any willing to listen. Born and raised in Jamaica she lived the life of a pirate, and ran across Dimos on a stormy night, changing her at the age of 23. Instead of finding her fate at the end of the hangman’s noose, she found eternal life and she’s been capitalizing on it since. She feels that she is better fit to be the primary to Dimos, and is actively looking to usurp Eho, citing the disrespectful behavior that the older vampire shows.
Played By: OPEN!!
Adalgisa • 487 Years Old • Member of familia aut mors 10 Points | Suggested face claim is Andreja Pejic
Once hailed as one of the best painters of her time, Adalgisa wasn’t always known by that name. In fact it wasn’t until 200 years after her transformation at the age of 33 that she came to be true to her inner self. An unfortunate favorite of Dimos’ to sit and talk about philosophy, Adalgisa’s heart is in her art. She owns and operates an art house just outside of Baltimore and often partners with the Franchise Owner there to put on high art shows that attract a wide range of clientele. She detests the schemes of the rest of her family and would prefer to be left to her art in peace.
Played By: OPEN!!
Lucas Green • 52 Years Old • Member of familia aut mors 5 Points | Suggested face claim is Tom Holland
The youngest member of familia aut mors and turned at the age of 23, and the one with the political dreams, Lucas has always lived a life of privilege. From a long line of politically minded farmers (and further back plantation owners), Lucas hails from Savannah and is proud of the men in his history. He fell in with Dimos at a function shortly after the Revelation, and it was the young man’s spirit that led the old philosopher to give him a chance to chase his dream eternally. Lucas is currently spearheading the vampires in senate movement, campaigning that age limits do not apply if you are undead, and stands on the platforms of his family. There’s no secret that it’s Dimos that writes the scripts to Lucas’ speeches.
Played By: OPEN!!
Unlike Eclipse's End, familia aut mors is a coven with desires to be respected and feared in a way that even their prey will understand. As the public face of many vampire movements, they know what it's like to tip toe around publicity and hide their true selves. Formidable in their greed, we would love to have all of the canons from familia aut mors on site!

Site Lore: Religions
Tumblr media
A little note! As with the setting, these religions are based in medieval Europe and take inspiration from various religions and iconography. To maintain the original world we've created these religions to tie in directly with our magic system.
Another little note! As a sandbox site, it's completely up to your character how they worship within these religions. It's also entirely possible that your character may worship a different religion that's not depicted within, however with that considered your character would have a difficult time learning any of the three schools of magic.
One last note! As with our Setting post, below the break we have included the beliefs of the three religions of our site!
The Keepers
The Keepers believe that to maintain the Mother and avoid the ire of her and the Father that a strict base of rules and rituals must be followed and observed. It is told that the Mother and the Father worked to create humanity and animals by weaving them into the very fibers of the universe. In this The Keepers see even the lowest life form as being one and the same, and worthy of preservation or use.
They believe in the sanctity of life, and hold true to the feeling that there would be no life if not for the Earth and Sky. They have four major holy events that are timed with the height of each season. Sacrifices are made in honor of life preserved and in holes of a good season and year to follow. Taking the central place of honor for each of the rituals, these sacrifices vary from clan to clan. Some have been known to sacrifice willing human participants to the Mother and Father, others sacrifice prized livestock or household pets.
Their afterlife is one of reincarnation and continual existence through the fabric of life.
The Keepers practice magic based in nature. Using their knowledge of the Earth and Sky to weave their own spells through a process of give and take. They give offerings and take the power that is given. Known mostly to be great healers and potion crafters there have been Keepers known to wield elemental powers.
Children of Aogusm
The Children of Aogusm believe that human life was born from a field planted by Brul and harvested by Lidarus. Thus why they refer to themselves as the 'Children'. Believing to be descendants of the gods themselves, they carry on their way with the world seeing it not only as their birthright as humans, but their own paradise to mold into the image of their choice.
The Children believe that to honor their gods they must continue to multiply and further their own gain. There is no god or goddess of justice because that is where the Children see themselves as fitting into. Thus, every man is responsible for his actions, but can bend the mercy and grace of more vile actions by making offerings to either Brul herself or other lesser gods and goddesses.
As a whole, there are no major holidays that the whole of the Aogustic religion worships. There are certain cults centered around specific gods or goddesses that hold festivals throughout the year, but this varies.
For the Children, the afterlife is one of acceptance into the pantheon of Aogusm not as children, but as gods. Many famous figures have been canonized into the pantheon and are often worshiped alongside Brul and Lidarus. King Lom is already being worshiped by some cults as a living god.
The Children practice magic based in desire and death. Using magic to further their own gains often at the expense of other life. They see magic as evidence of their divine nature, and for this those that are more adept at magic are considered closer to the Aogusm than someone who is not. The pursuit of magic is highly encouraged by the Children. They are known to wield powers of persuasion, blood and even necromancy.
Archonism
Above all things, the Archon teaches peace and harmony. To achieve this, it must be done by belief and worship of The Archon. Worshipers believe that the world was once a place of immeasurable darkness, until the Archon stepped in and molded the world into a place fit for life. When the first humans flourished, the Archon went to them and gave them his word that they would be protected. But darkness stole their attention and turned them to false gods and false prophets.
The Archon had begun to lose the battle against darkness until The Emissary came and began to spread the word of hope to a world ravaged by the greedy hand of a fallen Empire. The worshipers of the Archon see this time as holy, and every word that falls from the Emissary's mouth is written as the holy word of the Archon. The Knight's Creed which is so widely popular across the known world is developed from the Emissary's teaching, in turn making any Knight that follows the Archon's Creed a prophet of the Archon.
The afterlife the worshippers of the Archon expect is one of eternal light and peace. To guarantee access into the light of the Archon one must be pure of heart, and must have shared their love of the Archon with the known world.
Priests and worshippers of the Archon practice a magic steeped in light. Magic is something that is used only in dire purposes, although certain priests will openly display magic to heal the gravely ill, there are those that work in courts of the known world as justiciars and magical advisors. They are known to wield powers of light, reason and healing.

Neither unicorn nor pegasus, Alicorns appear to have traits from both species, but are so much more beyond that.
The first alicorns are known as The Two Sisters, a pair of unicorns with magic so potent, they changed the face of the sky forever. After growing wings, the young alicorns were called princesses and treated like royalty, thanked for their gift of the sun and moon. But as time went on, it became clear that these were not simply horses with extra features, but something else entirely.
When mature, alicorns are massive deities that stretch across the sky, ferrying the sun and moon to all corners of the world, leaving magic and dreams in their wake.
Being larger than the tallest mountains, goddesses generally don't interact with ponies on an individual basis. When they do, it is a terrifying honor; one that will alter the course of your life forever. Listen to the Sun speaking into your mind, and pray you are still the same pony when she is done.

Finally posting this AU here;
It’s 1 year anniversary of this AU!!
CW: This au contains general dark themes, brainwashing, non-consensual body modification, violence, machine gore, etc. please read at your own risk!
This is my rw au(Project Triple Affirmation), it takes place in a setting where the Ancients are still alive. One day, Looks to the Moon announces that she has found the Triple Affirmative—the answer to the Great Problem: to eliminate death by uploading all consciousnesses to a virtual reality, for without death, there is no rebirth, thereby breaking the cycle. She sees herself as the savior of everything, granting an ethereal eternity.
To put it into simpler words: Moon with her local group killing everything and uploading their victim’s consciousness to FP’s processor(a virtual reality).
While Moon claims that her plan “Solves” the Great Problem, her real agenda is far more radical: she wants to play god. To create a new world in her vision.
There’s still a lot more lore in this au, I’ll slowly get to them in my later posts.

webtoon up to their crappy money making BS again 😐 aren't they already making enough money off their tens of millions of monthly readers? Did they set up this whole coin system with the end goal of using their site as an advertising platform?
Webtoon doesn't even feel like it's about web comics anymore. It's about piggybacking off creators' hard work to suck money from its users, credit card or not.
If the comic is ongoing, there's a fast pass system, with coins to advance. If the comic is finished, there's a daily pass system, with coins to advance. If the comic is popular and finished in another language, there's both. A popular webtoon will be complete and you have 60 days max to binge read before it's paywalled despite the fact you might have kept up with it for years at that point.
Now it's not enough for you to scroll through the episodes to get coins, now they want you to do a quiz. There might not even be enough slots for everyone to do the quiz! There was a time when there was no expiration date on coins you earned. Now you only get to keep the coins for 7 days. Go drop dead, right now.
From what I've read, creators don't get paid if someone purchases fast pass with free coins. I never thought webtoon was a benevolent entity creating a safe haven for aspiring comic creators, but their real greed as a company under multibillion-won-earning Naver is finally showing.

👥 LORE PREVIEW: FACTIONS 👥
“This is how we came by our factions: Candor, Erudite, Amity, Abnegation and Dauntless." Max smiles. "In them we find administrators and teachers and counselors and leaders and protectors. In them we find our sense of belonging, our sense of community, our very lives.”
- Veronica Roth, The Transfer
CONVERGENCE does not use pre-defined canon characters; rather, we create organizations and roles that are claimable and expandable by our players. See below for the current list of roles —
Earth
Government
While we do not have defined government roles, characters are free to explore positions within Earth's parliament, military, or local judiciary or bureaucratic branches. The head of earth's government is not a playable character, and when applicable, admins will pass along instructions to earth governmental employees according to the latest actions taken by the global government. Government resources on earth are fairly stretched thin, trying to take care both of the latent crises that the irradiated environment brings, as well as manipulative behavior by corporations and illegal actions of the syndicates.
Syndicates
Syndicates are organized crime groups that exploit loopholes and weaknesses in Earth's present situation and which execute large-scale criminal schemes. There are currently three syndicates available for claiming by players, who can add the syndicate's unique details, plot, and members inside of our worldbuilding forums. One of the three bases its primary operations on the moon. Players can choose to operate at any position within a mob's structure, but be mindful that bosses may bear the responsibility for setting the direction of the syndicate during the course of the game with assistance from the admins. Syndicates are at odds with the government, many corporations, and, of course, each other.
Corporations
Earth's largest corporations have near-monopolies over whole sectors of human experience. They could be a huge pharmaceutical company, an android and device manufacturer, or in charge of water distribution. Right now we are allowing up to five corporations available for claiming by players, who can add the corporation's unique details, plot, and members inside of our worldbuilding forums. Players can choose to operate at any level of the corporate hierarchy, but be mindful that CEOs bear the responsibility for setting the direction of the corporation during the course of the game, with assistance from the admins. Corporations are at odds with each other, and usually trying to influence government policy, and wary of syndicate interference.
Aubr
The Greater Lords
The Greater Lords, or monarchs of Aubr, are believed to be avatars of the planet’s pantheon. The planet’s priesthood use ancestral memory data and resonant traits to identify monarchs who have started their cycle of incarnation anew, and restore them to their posts as Heads of State. Young monarchs play a mostly ritualistic role in their domain until they’re capable of leading it reliably, and may be largely dependent on the guidance of ARCHETYPE, an underlying utilitarian AI that aggregates Aubrian data and produces government recommendations to the State.Five of the seven Greater Lords are playable characters, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Lesser Lords of Aubr refer to key ranking officials associated with a Greater Lord’s domain, including priests and ministers. As such, multiple incumbents may be addressed by the same title. There are seven total monarchs, but only five are playable.
Icrilles
Archipelago Leadership
After centuries of migration and conquest, Icrillean island chains have largely formed into archipelago nation states. Five of these empires are available for claiming by members. A member who creates or claims a nation state is responsible for deciding how its government operates — because of the varied history, some of these are monarchial structures, some are democracies, some are dictatorships. Heads of state may receive instructions or assistance from the admins as the plot of the game progresses. Many of these archipelagos have a history of conflict with each other, even if the modern situation is currently peaceful.
Sioclite
City States
Sioclite has three city-states available for player worldbuilding. Due to the unpredictable and hostile landscape on Sioclite, its denizens usually take shelter in large city states that have often been built out of the planet's strange minerals and crystals. A claimant of the city state is responsible for describing its governmental structure in the worldbuilding forum.
Stations
Because it is important that each city state be able to exhibit some degree of cooperation, Sioclite also has independent departments known as Stations, which are responsible for coordinating on various efforts (security, energy, research, etc). Right now, five stations are available for claiming and worldbuilding by members, though there are thirteen in total.

To give everyone a better grasp of what kind of magic we are working with here, we have decided to build a site grimoire. While there are some specifics in other entries of the Grimoire, they will, more often than not, serve as examples. So please don’t consider the entries here to be completely black and white. We encourage you to make submissions to the Grimoire as well (we will provide credits to your entry and work with you if any items in the submission may go against previously stated site lore or soon-to-be-revealed plot points). Keep in mind that a character’s culture will also have an influence on their magic, so feel free to include that in any submitted items as well. However, we do ask that any cultural points or traditions that are closed to those communities not be used for this purpose.

The Timeline
On Gracefully Cursed, our world is pretty much the same with the addition of the Immortal species of course! The point in history where the timeline diverges is called 'The Revelation'. As a reminder, The Revelation in our site lore is when the Immortals revealed themselves to humanity for reasons that humanity associates with the atomic bombs that were used by the United States during WWII. The timeline below covers all major world events from The Revelation up to the current site time of January 2022.
AUGUST 6TH, 1945
The first atomic bomb is dropped and successfully detonated on Hiroshima, Japan. Horrors the like of which have never been seen unfold, changing the face of war forever. In the dust that settles, the first immortal makes themselves known to the Japanese Commanding General and informs them of another attack. It is not believed.
AUGUST 9TH, 1945
The second atomic bomb is dropped and detonated on Nagasaki, Japan. Devastated and with the after effects of both terrible weapons still unfolding, the Japanese Emperor Hirohito heard the pleas from the Immortal that stepped forward three days prior, they advise surrender.
Meanwhile halfway across the world in the broken wreckage of Berlin, several Immortals make themselves known to the Russian and Allied command, demanding to speak to the heads of their respective countries to prevent any further catastrophic events like the terror still unfolding in Japan.
SEPTEMBER 2ND, 1945
Aboard the battleship, USS Missouri, the Japanese Empire officially surrenders, ending the last open conflict of World War Two. There are a handful of Immortals on both sides to see both sides maintain peace.
OCTOBER 31ST 1945
In broadcasts made simultaneously throughout the world, by different Immortals of different species and backgrounds come out of their hiding. They cite the atomic detonations that ravaged Japan as being cause for them to reveal themselves, the power of the atom a power no human should harness into a weapon.
Some countries look on the new knowledge with fear, but in countries torn apart by the recent war the Immortals are seen as guides and sages to help move the world into a time of peace.
In the United States, Immortals instantly have a place of respect and power. With many hailed as humanitarian and focused on the betterment of the world. Groups arise to try and push the influence of religious groups hail the Immortals as monsters but that group is quickly suppressed. The ease and speed with which those groups are silenced are brought up often in court cases post Revelation as the danger of letting Immortals into politics, but for the most part this instance is not brought up.
1946 - 1948
Tensions between the United States and The Soviet Union rise. The Soviet Union is one of the few countries in the world that is openly against any Immortal involvement/inclusion in their country. In direct opposition to the agreement of peace, the Soviet Union attempts to massacre the Immortals in place to see a peaceful reconstruction of Germany, after a brief yet tense conflict, the assassination of Josef Stalin ends that conflict abruptly. Its widely rumored that the Immortals within the Soviet Union killed Stalin, installed a puppet in his place and rule behind the human man.
Unsealed documents from the time have all but confirmed this.
JUNE 25TH, 1950-JULY 18TH 1951
In a bid to control and retain the whole of the Korean peninsula and fueled by clashes between the North and the South, war breaks out. The conflict that breaks out throws the whole world back into war, but not on the same scale. Its the first conflict that is openly influenced by Immortal involvement, which sees the brief yet bloody conflict end a little more than a year after it started.
Following the tales of malicious treatment of civilians done by the Immortal (and mortal) soldiers in the United States army, a bill was passed that barred the recruitment of Immortals into the Armed forces. It was a wide success across the worldwide media, but off the record all Immortals were moved to special divisions.
1953
Even after the resolved Bill banning Immortals from serving in the military, a renewed push to see all Immortals removed from places of power or influence. This caused a huge uproar throughout the Untied States, with multiple protests that Immortal friendly backers would call the 'new Witchhunts'. Spokesmen in Hollywood stood up to the pressure from non-Immortal friendly groups and put out pictures in support of all Immortals. The tide was turned when a prominent senator's son was rescued from human kidnappers by a Werewolf police officer.
The tension rising out of the Witchhunts prompts the FBI to found what comes to be known as 'Division X', a branch of the Bureau meant to deal specifically with issues concerning Immortals, and to study them and find potential ways to combat them if need be.
1960
Running alongside a progressive presidential candidate in John F. Kennedy, the first vampire senator was elected from California, this marks the beginning of the Vampire Elector Party.
NOVEMBER 22ND, 1963
In a move executed by what some would blame on Immortals, but others would blame on Humans against the young president's policies of increased friendliness towards Immortals, John F. Kennedy was gunned down while on a parade through Dallas, Texas. A gunman was arrested, but he was found dead in his cell before a trial could ever be conducted.
Many conspiracy theorists today still stand by the fact that JFK was actually assassinated by a thought defunct group of werewolves called the Gravetenders.
MARCH 1965-MARCH 1973
In March of 1965, the United States enters the growing and increasingly savage conflict in Vietnam. Motivated by intelligence information and a grab to try and lessen the power and influence of communism, the whole conflict was a disaster for the United States. Protests erupt across the country revolving both Immortal and Human that stood against war and called for peace. The United States withdraws the last troops in March of 1973.
The Sanctuary opens in Minneapolis in 1965.
Wrath and Wreckage opens in Reno in 1968.
1974-1980
The wake of the Civil Rights movement and the continued push for equality, saw the rise of more Immortal groups that mimicked that structure. While society has come to tentatively accept vampires and werewolves there's a renewed rise in religious outcry and that creates a Satanic Panic. Groups either cling to their beliefs and cling to religious values, or they embrace the Immortals and the alternative lifestyle they represent. After the ritualistic sacrifice of a werewolf done by a church in Montana, the hyper religious movement ends in lawsuits and disgrace.
Viral opens its first club in Orland, Florida in 1974.
The Mausoleum opens in Baltimore, Maryland in 1980.
1985-1990
Where the United States may have made peace with its Immortal residents, the same peace can not be said to be unified throughout the world. Multiple groups in the Middle East spring up out of a desire to regain control of their countries, feeling that the United States has manipulated Immortals into taking positions of power in their respective countries. Immortals are openly executed and extremist regimes take control of several countries, threatening the United States' supply on oil and pressure from pro-Immortal groups, the United States enters into conflict.
AUGUST 7TH, 1990-JANUARY 17TH, 1991
The conflict is violent and devastating both for public opinion in the United States on war in general, but also in terms of routing out the anti-Immortal groups. The war ends with a tentative peace signed between all countries involved.
After the war there was an investigation brought up into the potential involvement of Immortal strike teams on the ground. Once more, the investigation found no instances of wrong-doing.
1992-1999
Following the Gulf War, Immortals of all shapes and sizes begin to take over industry, both entertainment and technological. Law Enforcement in rural areas becomes non existent, leaving room for rogue Immortals and Human criminals to take control of small towns and sometimes small cities. The FBI takes a larger role in maintaining a semblance of control in these lawless areas, relying on members of a group becoming known as the 'Resistance' to help keep the peace. Propaganda begins to paint the Resistance as a terrorist organization.
The Marigold Tea House opens in early 1992 in Astoria, Oregon.
SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2001
The World Trade Center attack is the greatest loss of life on American soil from any terrorist attack. The cause is tied to anti-Immortal groups still operating in the Middle East, it sparks a quick response that sees the group that had taken responsibility for the attack eliminated.
2002-2019
The United States becomes a powerhouse thanks to the involvement of the Immortals in industry and government. On the surface, there's nothing wrong, but people have begun to see the cracks shine through. For the most part there is a tentative peace between Humans and Immortals, but there is a growing tension in smaller cities and cities outside of Franchise influence.
JANUARY 1ST 2022
The new year begins. CURRENT SITE TIME.

What we call "ponies" are actually 3 different species that have managed to intertwine with each other through centuries of love and friendship.
Earth ponies are unique in their strength and solid, powerful hooves built for running and moving heavy objects. Ancient ponies only displayed earth tones in their fur and hair, but even one pegasus ancestor many generations ago can imbue colorful hues to all their descendents.
Pegasus are completely covered in feathers, with long feathers forming crests much like horses' mane and tails. They are usually the smallest species, but some exceptions do appear. Hooves are usually small and cloven, with prehensile dewclaws for gripping branches and perching in trees.
Unicorns are much closer to deer than horses, and their horns are actually a set of two antlers that wind around each other from a single base. The coiled structure pulls magic from the world around them and concentrates it at the tip, allowing the unicorn to cast whatever spells it wishes, while the other species can only use magic for flight and affecting the environment.
