my middle school english teacher: chapter uno

so, back in sixth grade i had this english teacher. and OH BOY here we go again. so anyways these three girls would always bother him bc he was one of those laidback teachers who “couldn’t care less” spoiler: he cared a bit

anyways one day i walk into english class, put down my books, and wait for class to begin. also i was kind of on edge that day bc they said they were doing earthquake drills (keep in mind i was like a 3ft 12 yr old rn) and the p.a comes on just to say good morning to the students and I drop like a sack of potatoes. my best friend, who’s next to me, bursts out laughing bc shes mean like that and the teacher looks at me. he likes to make fun of my height. so hes like “oh look, i found a 2ft mushroom!” everyone laughs and i just sit there like a pathetic blob. then he’s like “ok now get up i dont want no poop stains in my classroom.”  i refuse. i will not get up. you cannot make me. all these thoughts run through my head. then my best friend picks me up and says get up you stupid stupid child.

not that funny, im just still MADD that I DIDNT STAND FOR MYSELF LIKE CMON 2FT ME USE YOUR BRAIN YOU WON THE GOD DAMN SPELLING BEE WHY CANT U BE A LITTLE SMARTER

First day of 6th grade. Home Scholars Program. This may not be ideal, as I know he would love to see his friends, but since children under the age of 12 can't get vaccines yet, this is really the safest thing. Hopefully vaccinations for the 5 to 11 age group come through pretty soon and then Maige can get back to his regular school with his friends, but until then, Safety First. Downside, he doesn't get to see his friends in person yet.
