Since it is sketchvember, I’m going to try to post more WIPs. This is a Tarot design I’ve been wanting to do for a while and have spent an hour and a half on so far. It is meant to be my swl character Omar as the Magician ^^. I’m not sure if it’s going to be in full colour or not yet, we’ll see how it goes.

Sketchvember day 6-12.

I’m gonna end my sketchvember for this year because it’s turning into an obligation while it’s just too hard for me to do while having my weekday pretty much work then school then sleep. Plus, I want to draw something else too so, ye.

Just like that, November's over. Kinda have mixed feelings about how sketchvember went this year but at least it got me drawing every day!

My boy Trigon... hands down the most badass character I’ve ever created.

Some Lore stuff under the cut.

I gave the trolls in my world - called Ether - this spiritual thing called a beast spirit (in that order, not spirit beast -- also since there are spirit beasts in WoW and you can tame those and I was like “okay I don’t want to call them spirit beasts LET’S JUST SWAP THE WORDS YEAH BEAST SPIRIT THERE YOU GO” I’m so creative u guys 100% original 2 the maximus).

A beast spirit can literally be anything, and some are more common than others, and there are mythical beast spirits which are not limited to chieftains and/or higher ranking members in a troll tribe. A perfectly normal soldier could have a phoenix, and a chieftain could have a goldfish. As an example. The usefulness of a beast spirit is almost solely relevant to how skilled it’s wielder is and the abilities it grants (ex. the phoenix can bring you back to life, but the goldfish can allow you and your allies to breathe underwater. A phoenix is good for single combat and/or taking down large amounts of foes, while a goldfish is good in the event you have heavily armored soldiers and surprising your foe by charging out of the water is your best strategic option. See? Different uses, phoenix is not necessarily better than goldfish).

Generally when Trigon uses his beast spirit, the scars (yes scars, not tattoos) that cover his body hover over his body like so as brilliant orange lights, and then....

You get attacked by an Ambush of Tigers.

Yes his beast spirit is an army of tigers, and that alone classifies it as mythical (and therefore, yes, a Murder of Crows would classify as mythical as well). No tigers here though because Trigon’s scars also do this when he lets himself tap into the magical gifting he inherited from his mother. It’s sad, really, Trigon would make a phenomenal archer - his magic type is conjuration so he conjures magical arrows - but he went down the path of the assassin because it kept him out of sight and out of mind.

And this is the second half of what I have completed for sketchvember so far. Remember how I said I went overboard? Yeah.

First we have Violet Aurora, (Noah, Amber, Izaak, and Ulrik), and the first two of Crimson Oath (Amber and Faris). 

Onwards to more sketches! Lets see how long I can keep this up, shall we?
