You should totally drop some facts about your characters. I'm SO here for hearing about lore or anything really, lol. -🌲

I’m waiting for a very specific question to answer and drop a very specific lore bomb~

(Hint: it has something to do with a certain AU that was going around in the yan community for a bit)

But until then, here’s a treat:

I’ve had Lilac and Reese as characters since I was in 7th grade, but they both had different names until I put them into SKGTP. I actually shipped them for quite a while and drew some ship art that has been lost to time

Lilac’s original color scheme was red and black, but I gave it to Vix instead because it fit him and I wasn’t sure I was going to add Lilac to the game

There’s very specific reasons for the color schemes of all of my characters (I’m going to make Ash’s secondary color green once I revamp his design and his eyes will be yellow/gold)

Vix was originally named Link and was supposed to be in a VN called Light In The Sky (hence the nickname Starshine). He was going to be a bad-boy who skipped classes to hang out with you and generally was supposed to be a bad influence on you. He was also very cranky. He underwent the redesign of the century

Reese was also intended to be featured in Light In The Sky and she went through a major wardrobe change and a few minuscule personality changes

I have a hard time writing Ash because he’s so unpredictable lol

I sometimes slip up in my notes with Reese and Lilac’s names

Okay, so that makes sense but Vix had a completely different personality before SKGTP, so why change him up? Why not have a completely different character all together? Not that I don't love Vix, I do and I'm glad you added him to SKGTP, but why change his personality and everything?

Lilac x Reese will be real??? HAHA. I was gonna marry Lilac but I'm def fine without her 👍. Oh also, do you have any art of Reese? It's weird trying to imagine them in my head without any idea of what they look like (I forgot what their pronouns are if it's been mentioned).

You see, I don't mind being degraded but Ash would literally kill me I feel like, which is scary enough for me to stay away jsjsjdjsj. He's too unpredictable, even for me./hj -🌲

Oh it was the untraumatized AU guessed by cotton candy jester. I said it was close because the two AUs were both active around the same time. But now you gotta guess the character I was referring to :)

Uh- I guess technically Vix and Link are two extremely different characters, huh? So does that mean Link still exists as himself? Damn that’s crazy 😲 I changed him because I wanted his design to be more distinct and recognizable (his old on was A Guy With A Hoodie and looked like every single character in existence lol) and I changed his personality so it isn’t Ash 2.0 but this time With Feelings™️

I don’t think Reese and Lilac will ever truly be canon, and in this game Lilac is single so you can probably attempt to marry her in the full game. I still have yet to actually… draw Reese in her new design. I’m not going to reveal any details for her design until then tho. Strange that I don’t have any art for her considering she’s my favorite character lol. Her pronouns are she/her!

Lol he definitely might kill you depending on the choices you make in the game :)

Was adding Vix to SKGTP a idea that you thought of doing for a while before actually doing it??? And what was the other VN supposed to be about?? Why do you no longer ship Lilac and Reese?

Also would the question have to do with maybe the mermaid/merman AU? I saw that going around, apparently but I wasn't in the yandere vn community at that time.

I hope you don't mind all these questions. I'm genuinely interested in hearing about your OC's though! I love hearing people talk about their OCS and stuff like that ksjdjdjd. -🌲

Ngl I thought I had upset someone with how rude Ash is in general and I felt bad having such a rude and apathetic character interact with people on this blog without someone else there to act as a cushion. I didn’t want to hurt anyone with Ash, so I decided to introduce Vix as a counterpoint. So now people can interact with Ash if they don’t mind being degraded and they can interact with Vix if they want to feel loved :)

The decision to add Vix to SKGTP was kind of a knee-jerk reaction, so it was very spontaneous! His original VN was very new and underdeveloped, so I only had a basic premise of “yan with a bad attitude tries to seduce the PC and is very cranky towards everyone else” ^^”

I don’t necessarily not ship them, it’s just that we don’t see them interacting a lot in the demo since the focus is mostly on the guys. Also I just wanted to take a different direction with it and so they don’t have quite the same history as they originally did. Don’t worry, they’re sure to turn up somewhere in my other works ^^
