What Percentage of all Roblox Games are Combat Games?
Roblox is a massively popular online gaming platform that allows users to create and play games created by other users.
Tumblr media
It offers a wide variety of games, including adventure, racing, puzzle, role-playing, and simulation games. Some of the most popular games on the platform include Adopt Me!, MeepCity, Brookhaven, Royale High, and Theme Park Tycoon 2.
However, Roblox games don't have a specific genre classification, so it's hard to know the exact percentage of combat games. But as I mentioned before, it's likely that a significant number of games on the platform fall under this category, as many players enjoy playing games that involve combat and action.
I don't have the exact percentage of all Roblox games that are combat games, but it is likely that a significant number of games on the platform fall under this category, as many players enjoy playing games that involve combat and action.
Roblox is a user-generated content platform and there is a wide variety of games available, from simple puzzle games to complex multiplayer games, so the percentage of combat games may vary. It's possible to check the top games on Roblox, and then check the genres of those games, that would give a better idea of the percentage of combat games on the platform.
Some other popular online gaming platforms include:
Steam - A digital distribution platform developed by Valve Corporation, which offers a large library of PC games and other forms of media.
Xbox Live - A gaming service for the Xbox gaming console, which offers multiplayer gaming, free games, and special deals for Xbox owners.
PlayStation Plus - A subscription service for PlayStation console owners, which offers online multiplayer gaming, free games, and special deals.
Google Stadia - A cloud gaming platform that allows players to stream games on their devices
WinZO Games - WinZo is a mobile gaming platform that offers a wide variety of games, including trivia, puzzles, and skill-based games.

Skill Gaming Could Help Grow The Indian Economy
Lately, skill gaming activities like esports and fantasy sports have been flourishing in India. The sector has encountered enormous development in the last 1–2 years. This is generally filled by the rising internet penetration in India and the developing interest of Indians in skill-based games.
As per a KPMG report acknowledged earlier, in 2022, around 420 million individuals will play online games in India. The report likewise anticipated that the esports market would expand up to 5x soon.
Indeed, even at present, the online skill gaming market is currently adding to government revenue. It is driving advancement and wealth creation in India by drawing investments into the startup ecosystem. As indicated by data from industry research, the online skill gaming market is at present esteemed at INR 150,000 cr. According to Ernst and Young, by 2025, this figure will have risen to INR 11 billion.
Nonetheless, one main consideration that smothers the development of the sector is the absence of legitimate guidelines. Because of the absence of policies to guide, the sector has been very unsteady as far as revenue generation in India, which is dissimilar to different nations like the UK, which has severe skill gaming policies and regulatory authorities.
The only Indian central gambling law is the Public Gambling Act of 1867, which came into place before the presence of online pay-to-earn sites or even the internet for that matter. Each state has been passed on with the obligation to control pay-to-earn in its jurisdiction. However, just Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have done so as of late.
The Push for Regulation of the Online Skill Gaming Sectors
Industry specialists and high courts across the country have started to highlight the insufficiencies of the regulations and urge the public authorities to foster administrative guidelines.
The esports section has been more vocal among online skill gaming organizations, requesting an explicit affirmation of the lawfulness of their service. For example, the All India Gaming Federation (AIGF) is stressing that games of skill are legitimate.
However, specialists are astounded at how the public authorities miss out on tax income and license revenues that could have been generated from these guidelines, ruining the development of skill gaming organizations simultaneously. While creating administrative principles will support responsible gaming, the potential for tax income and occupation creation alone ought to be sufficient to convince specialists to make up for the shortfall.
As of now, states that have prohibited skill gaming activities have smothered nearby organizations while not having the option to prevent residents from getting licensed offshore online skill gaming platforms. A few states, like Maharashtra, are presently hoping to make the entire sector lawful. The Karnataka and Kerala legislatures have been urged by courts to seek contemporary guidelines.
What’s the best way forward?
The best way to make progress in the sector is by introducing guidelines. The advantages of this are huge.
The sector, as of now, uses many individuals through a network of service providers and developers. These incorporate an informal network of private digital channels, applications, and sites that give tips, research, and backing to digital gamers.
The skill gaming industry is also assisting in the development of more talents in rapidly developing areas such as machine learning, animation, cloud, and AI. It is easy to predict that the thriving sector will soon propel India to global prominence

I had Wendigoon's Faith The Unholy Trinity video and gameplay in the background when I was working on my thesis film and you can say I grew fond of one sad and traumatized priest

i think maybe way too much about how useless Ch'en base skill is
Tumblr media
there's literally only 3 operators in the LGD, and it's herself, Hoshiguma and Swire. yes, Ch'en alter is affiled with Rhodes Island, and Swire alter is affiliated with Lungmen
as for our three LGD operators, Ch'en's only Control Center skill is this one, her other skill is in the Reception Room. Hoshiguma has no skill in the Control Center, she only has a Training Room skill, and Swire has one skill in the Control Center, that doesn't even affect the moral of operators
i guess you could slap all three in the Control Center for a marvelous increase of +0.15 morale/hour, and that'll be the only effect they'll have with the +7 order efficiency from Swire
Ch'en. dear. why

felix being referred to more or less exclusively as "your soldier" in-game speaks to how little the writers put into his character beyond his noggin full of sith secrets & his relationship with the consular; still, i do find it kind of sweet and funny, in a way. he's not a republic soldier, not even your personal bodyguard; he's your soldier. the consular is a small nation-state in and of herself
#accurate.#felix iresso#swtor#jedi consular#open tags for My Rant:#going back through rishi and doing the cute little holocron quest got me brooding - as i often do - on my best boy felix#that the writers could not think to give him anything in KOTXX that wasn't Torture Angst is deeply shitty but a little understandable.#all the other consular comps kind of have a way forward that isn't consular-related when the consular goes away#nadia has the jedi. zenith has balmorra. tharan has his old illustrious career. qyzen has little baby clan and also his religious directive#meanwhile felix isn't involved with your order or a supergenius or a politician or even someone with a lifelong goal#he was a guy doing his best at a dead-end job that turned into a far more enjoyable but still lowkey dead-end job#i would argue they could (should) have sent him to ossus but i can see them balking because Doc was already there#that's a little narratively redundant especially bc Doc has an extremely useful set of non-martial skills you would want to center#when telling a story about survival and persistence against the odds like with ossus#(also he was in the group of companions second-closest in proximity to the emperor in base game)#HOWEVER.#because i am immensely sexy and cool and have a huge brain i think i've cracked it#the way to give felix a compelling story post-consular is to put him the fuck in charge.#no longer your soldier or anyone's. his own. maybe even in charge of a large group of people in need of someone to follow#considering he used to be really good at that#a group like...idk...maybe the rest of the people incarcerated on his prison colony?#much to think about.

the thing with snufkin is that it feels like the team WANTED to do more, but just had to cut the content down bc of the nature of game development. like, if they had infinite time and budget, they would've added a lot more to it.
ok that sounds like a generic statement you could make about any game lmao, but I feel like it especially applies here. possibly influenced by it being a licensed property, so moom characters would've given them deadlines on top.

harry.......... (with shivers)
Tap to see the details
SO happy with how this came out. Two point perspective? Foreshortening? I got this 💪😎
[image description:
The first image is a digital drawing of the character Harrier DuBois from the videogame Disco Elysium. He is standing in front of the Whirling in Rags at night. One hand is in his pocket and the other is holding a slip of paper. He is looking up at the camera with a concerned expression. The windows behind him cast a blueish green glow on him and the snow.
The second image is identical, except for several red and white lines that have been drawn over it. Two red lines go from left to right through his head, meeting to make an arrow. More red lines cover his chest, outlining his shoulders and vertebrae. White lines reach out from the top of his head like roots.
End ID.]

i don't think sonic translates particularly well into open world environments so it probably would be for the best if future games didn't go the same route as frontiers HOWEVER. they should return to the formula of huge hub worlds to give us a space to run around and goof off in like in frontiers. i want them to take sa1 06 and unleashed and expand on what they did. maybe make seamless transitions from hub world into stage environments who knows!!
