My most fave part of doing skincare is using facial wash! This Skin1004 product is my go to whenever I wanted to feel instantly refresh. It softly gently cleanses, my skin - Washes excess oil and Soothes my irritated skin.

The formula is dreamy. Cloudlike texture plus easy to rinse. No greasy feeling at all. I really enjoyed using it everytime! 💕💕

After we went to the beach last October my skin breakout. I looked it up and there are a lot of factors which probably contributed – weather change, air-quality change, and, of course, the saltwater. Fortunately, my skin has already recovered from that breakout after a few weeks. Right now, I am just working on brightening the dark marks left. Centella Asiatica in skincare is not going anywhere anytime soon. And if you think of Centella, SKIN1004 is definitely the K-Beauty brand that will pop in your head!

The brand gained great popularity with their best-selling Madagascar Centella line, specifically the ampoule, which I’ve listed as one of the most popular products in my centella asiatica post.

What I’m reviewing today is not the OG Centella ampoule, but an interesting serum from the Hyalu-Cica line that I’ve been trying out recently.

SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Boosting Toner 210ml

 Hey guys! its been a while since I posted a skincare review here! Today I'm gonna share my current favorite, my new discovery from the brand Skin1004! its their Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Boosting Toner.

Skin1004 is a Korean skincare brand that officially launched in 2012. Centella asiatica , more specifically that which is harvested from Madagascar is their brand’s highlight ingredient! The brand is passionate about using safe ingredients that are suitable for sensitive and irritated skin, avoiding common irritants like alcohol, parabens and artificial fragrances or coloring. 

I’ve been using this for almost three weeks na! Surprisingly this toner was lightweight and never irritate my oily to combination skin. it also didn't gave me acne breakouts! usually when I'm trying a new product on my skin I always get pimples for the first week! But this product was different! feels like water but with the benefits of Centella asiatica!

What I love about the toner:

*Suitable with my oily to combination skin! I also read somewhere that it is also good on sensitive/acne-prone skin

*No Artificial fragrance/No Artificial colorant (this is my favorite)

*MadeWhite (*brightening ingredients from Madagascar Centella Asiatica) is Skin1004 unique ingredient. 

*Non-Sticky and fast absorbing! My skin loves this very much.

*Can be use day and night. For the past three weeks I’m using this toner!

  Overall thoughts:

I literally fell in love with this “Brightening Boosting Toner” from SKIN1004! It helps my skin to absorb the next product on my skincare routine. The ingredient,  MadeWhite from Madagascar Centella Asiatica also aids my skin to brighten and evens out my skin! I love this so much that I see myself finishing a bottle and repurchasing again in the future.

If you are into skincare and korean beauty products there’s no way you haven’t heard of centella asiatica. This plant is also known as Indian pennywort or Gotu kola and has been used in traditional medicine for wound healing and treating other skin conditions. It contains 4 active ingredients which are included in skincare:  asiaticoside, asiatic acid, madecassic acid, and madecassoside.
