Ive been writing a fanfic for Octo!König but had massive writers block and your writes always inspire and get me all giddy so I was wondering if you could share any headcanons or even just a load of word vomit about him bc he’s such a silly little scrungly and so mischievous too 🙏💞💞🗣️

🐙 first of all he's a menace to everyone around him, even you😭 loves to nudge and bump you whenever you are which can hurt like a bitch

🐙 CLINGY as hell and you have to deal with it!! Won't let you alone EVER, like you literally had to throw him out of the bathroom when you wanted to pee

🐙 speaking of which, you'll only get him out when you're doing your business in the toilet, otherwise you're stuck with him during baths! Octo König loves baths and he loves taking them with you!! It's a perfect moment to mess around in the water with bubbles plus it's his go-to moment to sit on your naked tits since he has the best access :3

Some things from the Turf War gameplay that I want to talk about

I cannot stress enough how skrunkly Lil Judd looks, look at him

Aside from the Name cards having customizable backgrounds and Titles (I want to be bringing big fisherman energy for my title), there’s numbers, kind of like Discords, so what I’m hoping is that we have a phone mechanic where we can either add people through it OR communicate (please!!)

Some critiques about the graphics/UI

I think the vectors for the specials and subs are really neat, I just think it’s a little to dark for the Purple team, which could be a problem for newer players trying to learn about the game. Also yeah... the chunky squid and octo’s is not doing it for me. Not really important but the ones from 2 gave a lot more personality and helped with identifying the enemy team. The next few things are kind of nit-picky LOL

I’m mixed on the new splatted logo LOL I really liked the action type bubble that Splatoon 1 and 2 had, though I suppose this is more fitting. Though it’s giving real Nickelodeon slime vibes. In regards with the tape, it just feels... boring compared to 2′s tape. The text was much bigger, but this sized it down for this one, and you can barely see the pattern, BUT I DO LOVE THE ANIMATION it’s funky

On Twitter, there were people complaining about overused gear and this is the reason. Half of the gear is ugly/generic as hell, my mans literally wearing 2 different shirts at the same time and it is not working. And my dude on the right is giving Squidward energy but that’s just my opinion on this ugly gear SFHSDFJSDFDVNSD we still have that headgear with the 3 glasses to look forward to 👨‍🦲 /lh

kirby forgor thoughts (just on general gameplay, no spoilers beyond what was in the demo)

Game is fucking great

Putting together what I’ve played so far, it follows the gameplay style and mechanics of the dark matter trilogy more than the modern era games but still combines elements of both

You’ve got your main puzzle dees (like energy spheres, code cubes, sun stones, etc) which was like the best part but you also have dreamland 3-style missions where the goal is not given to you, rather you have to discover it yourself first and go out of your way to mess around

The game rewards dicking around and exploring a lot which is excellent because I love the way Hal labs handles secrets

There’s also these mini-levels that are like. The ability levels from return to dreamland and Splatoon’s octo expansion levels combined. They’re super fun and get really tricky later on and there’s a LOT of them

Also the collection of abilities strays from the superstar-modern style of 1000 abilities with each a very fleshed out move set, rather it leans to the dark matter trilogy’s 7-12 ish abilities but each one can combine with something (in this game upgrades) to get a new loadout

This and dedede’s new design all points to dreamland 3/k64, which is weird because the setting has like no hints to dark matter

Splatoon for the "send me a fandom and I'll tell you my X" ask game?

Blorbo: CALLIE. I love her so much you don't even know. I'm a sucker for mind control plots they're my literal favorite and since I started with Splatoon 2 she quickly became my favorite. Even ignoring that she still would be I love her personality

Skrunkly: Agent 8. I love them so much. It's probably the better animation in Octo Expansion but they're so expressive and have so much personality it's great

Scrimblo bimblo: FLOW she's my mom. I love her design so much she's so good

Glup shitto: I don't know if this counts but the human scientist. The fact that he's like. At "fault" for a lot of things is so fascinating. I think he's gonna be more prominent in Splatoon 3 so y'know. I hope so it's so fascinating

Horse plinko: Agent 4 probably. I like hurt/comfort alot and it's either 4 or 8 that I tend to gravitate to. Or Callie but I've already used Callie and 8
