Aslan, where have you buried all your children?
I listened to Harpy Hare by Yaelokre and thought this part of the song would be perfect for an edit with Susan.
Uses scenes from The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lovely Bones, The Greatest Showman and Reign.

when we lose another sibling
CONTENT WARNING: death. proceed with care and be kind to yourself.
when we lose another sibling
(and we surely will),
i want you to go outside
and cry
and cry
and cry
and cry.
when we lose another sibling
i want you to scream
at the top of your lungs:
THEY DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE.
when we lose another sibling
i want you to shout yourself hoarse
at this vast
indifferent abyss:
IT DID NOT HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS.
when we lose another sibling
i want you to gather flowers
and palm fronds
and fill the street with mourning.
when we lose another sibling
i want you to say their names.
when we lose another sibling
i want you to give the world
a warning:
THINGS WILL NOT BE THE SAME.
----------------------------------------------------------
SAY THEIR NAMES.
Over the past year, these trans and nonbinary people died under violent circumstances in the United States.

New question round! What are your OCs' favourite painting/mural/sculpture/any piece of art?
This took way too long for me to answer, I am so sorry for that! I really loved this question, but I didn't have an answer for it then. I was too new to making OC's so you planted a seed back then and now I finally have some answers.
Cynthia admires strong women who are confident in themselves so I see her liking in particular this "controversial" but lovely painting of Bella Goth by @kaastargaming which can be found on display at the Plumbob Ego Museum.

Bobi is a proud Afro-Latino sim and both of their parents are Selvadoradian. Their mom grew up there but their father was born in San Myshuno and is a second gen citizen of Sim Nation. The whole family prefers to speak in Selvadoradian but they are all bilingual to varying degrees. So all of that is to say, I see Bobi feeling connected to works by artist like Frida Kahlo. An in particular I see these two pieces speaking to them.

August's favorite works of art are literature. He's a socially awkward sim and often connects better with books than with other pixel people. So much so that, although he is in the conservationist career, he has a literature degree. I imagine his favorite works are Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman and Walden by Henry David Thoreau. They inform his love for nature but also, they, unfortunately, cap him in the career at the level of Historian because he doesn't have an advance degree in science like Skylar. I love that they both come to the same work with different motivations and passions. Here's an excerpt from "CALAMUS" that I find fitting for August.
IN paths untrodden, In the growth by margins of pond-waters, Escaped from the life that exhibits itself, From all the standards hitherto publish'd, from the pleasures, profits, conformities, Which too long I was offering to feed my soul, Clear to me now standards not yet publish'd, clear to me that my soul, That the soul of the man I speak for rejoices in comrades, Here by myself away from the clank of the world, Tallying and talk'd to here by tongues aromatic, No longer abash'd, (for in this secluded spot I can respond as I would not dare elsewhere,) Strong upon me the life that does not exhibit itself, yet contains all the rest, Resolv'd to sing no songs to-day but those of manly attachment, Projecting them along that substantial life, Bequeathing hence types of athletic love, Afternoon this delicious Ninth-month in my forty-first year, I proceed for all who are or have been young men, To tell the secret of my nights and days, To celebrate the need of comrades.
Skylar is a pretty balanced mixture of jock and science nerd. I imagine he would like art like this piece by Erik Abel.

I am going to skip the Dunn-Paks because they didn't exist back then.

an issue i have with the girlboss-ification of morally gray/evil female characters like amy dunne, jennifer s. body, pearl pearl, dani from midsommar etc is that it kinda just takes the way misogyny flattens female characters and turns it in a circle like let me explain a little
none of these characters are JUST bad or JUST good and i feel like trying to combat misogynistic takes on media that vilify women who stray from moral perfection in any way by deifying ones that verge on unforgivable kinda doesnt do them justice, it just goes to the other extreme. amy dunne does terrible, unforgivable things. so does pearl. their actions make SENSE from a narrative standpoint which just shows that they're good characters, but it doesnt make them morally good. these characters are ethically nebulous, even pretty solidly bad a lot of the time, and that's okay. those kinds of female characters should exist. it's good that there are well-written, narratively sound evil women in fiction!
that being said i understand why people do this. it's frustrating seeing people malign totally normal understandable female characters like, say, skylar white, so i totally get why people just fling in the other direction to fight back. and i dont think there's any harm in jokingly saying these characters didnt do anything bad. but i do think there's a certain section of people (typically young, objectively immature girls who embrace the female manipulator aesthetic) who actually believe this rhetoric in a way and kind of digest it as a way to romanticize their own toxic behaviors instead of working on them. i dont think this is some huge devastating social problem that needs to be quashed (misogynistic violence on the systemic scale is obviously a much more pressing issue than a teenage girl whos kind of mean sometimes lol this is a very micro issue rather than macro) but i think it's worth chewing on a little bit.
idk what my point was with all this i have a lot more i could say but i was just thinking about this on the way home from the grocery store LOL

Meet the other Scott family. Lucas Scott, Peyton Sawyer Scott, their oldest daughter Sawyer Brooke Scott (18), their son Keith James Scott (14) and the youngest daughter, which they later adopted, Elizabeth Karen Scott (11). Sawyer has recently graduated high school and hasn’t decided if she wants to stay and help with Red Bedroom Records or go off to college. Keith was definitely a miracle after Peyton had a difficult pregnancy. And he’s now on the basketball team with Dylan. Elizabeth is in the fourth grade and has her parents on their toes. Lucas is coaching the Ravens with Nathan and is working on writing the next script for Julians new show and his next book. Peyton is the new owner of Tric and still run Red Bedroom Records with Haley. She is trying to find the next big band or artist.
