"If you're sure, Kyouya-kun, then… " A glance around the area found nothing and no one of note. He curls his fist, the ring flares to life, and the feathers of his wings spread. And, of course, that confident smile stretches into a smirk.

Mun-san was truly willing to allow Haru to maybe walk to her own demise sometimes, isn't she? (Yes) Haru quietly approached Hibari once she found him, ensuring at least a foot distance between them. "E-eto-- hello, Hibari-san. Haru has to say that she's grateful that you care so much about Namimori, because it feels safe being around with you looking out for it. You're very reliable."

She double-checks the distance. She's totally safe and in the clear, yes? That was totally a compliment. She's completed her mission. Success-desu!

“... And that makes all twenty-six.” The swordsman drops the unconscious body of the goon, adding him to the pile of his comrades. Every body in the pile were covered in cuts and bruises, but mercifully alive.

Dusting off his hands, Yamamoto flashed the elder a sly smile. “Almost tied with you, too!” A care-free laugh escaped him, chocolate hues glinting. The other may not have known it was a competition, but Yamamoto enjoyed challenging himself.

With a shake of his head, he crouched before one of the goons, ripping their fire emblem off of their clothing. “Do you recognize the crest, Hibari-san?” Looking up at him, he extended it to the male. “It’s been a while since someone tried to ambush us. In our own manor, too.”

       WHY DOES   Dino get the feeling that Reborn calling him to Nami Middle was something of a  RUSE ??  chances are  EXTREMELY  likely that he knows about this inconvenience and wants Dino to overcome it somehow.  that sounds very tutor - like.

Chrome's hand stills, extended out towards him, at the sharp tone. A moment passes, a breath of hesitation before it draws back toward her person, head tilting faintly to the side as she regards him. It was unsurprising, that air of strength that practically radiated from him -- and yet, she doesn't find him particularly frightful. Not in the way that the rest seemed to.

( or perhaps that was a piece of herself that didn't originate with her. those lines blurred, now and then. )

"Oya...?" Her voice is soft, hands coming to rest behind her back. "...I didn't think... that you would be so concerned about a touch. I'm sorry."

Somehow, despite the sincerity, it didn't quite reach her tone.

Stealing

You ever had your car or apartment broken into and your most valuable or loved possessions just taken away from you? Let’s be honest, most people steal because they simply need to to survive, maybe some out of greed, but you do it out of pure malice. You take the last of your roommate’s ice cream, you steal your siblings favorite stuffed animal, you steal your classmate’s pencil box, if you steal money from someone you genuinely think that person deserved it. Your crimes can range from shoplifting to grand theft, and you fucking hate billionaires. The best things to steal aren’t money though, it’s things that people love or can’t live without. Many don’t know of this hate language, but if you’ve ever had the impulse to steal your enemy’s last soda, you now know why.

According to Haru-logic, as long as Haru didn’t crowd, she could be on Namimori grounds. It wouldn’t make sense to say she was never allowed on because she’s visited for a Gymnastics meet before. Yes, Haru is on the gymnastics team, and she’s pretty good at it, thank you very much. 

Alone, she made her way up to the rooftop somehow with the intent of using the higher ground to look for people. Instead, Haru in her avid love for cute things, got distracted. In a nest, she saw a small group of sleeping yellow birds. They were so small-- were they babies? Perhaps the parents are away looking for food to feed these babies?

Look at how cute they are! Haru couldn’t help but mentally coo at the sleeping featherballs of cuteness. As a professional babysitter, Haru would watch over these birds until the parents came back for them. Getting to watch these cute birds sleep was payment enough.

(    &. NATURAL BORN HITMAN    —    When the Rain got news of the death of Kyouya Hibari, the strongest member of the Vongola, he thought that it was a joke. A poorly made joke. For as long as he remembered the older, long before he even got sucked into this life, he had been nearly unstoppable. Whatever loss the Skylark had endured, he could count on one hand. So the idea of Hibari being dead was ... Laughable.

Regardless, Takeshi was on the first jet back to the manor the moment news got to him. He barely even finished listening to the urgent call from Hayato to return. The moment the words ‘he is dead’ was heard, he was on the move instantly, his mission abandoned; a part of him hoped to feel the bite of the Skylark’s tonfa for being so foolish.

Takeshi stood there in stunned silence among the other Guardians, Kyouya’s battle torn body laying peacefully on the bed. Calloused hands formed trembling fists at his side as he looked off to the side, eyes clenched shut. But no matter how hard he kept them closed, the tears still managed to escape.

It was a cruel realization that ... Kyouya Hibari may have been an apex predator in every way, but he was not immortal. He wasn’t untouchable. How could they have ever forgotten? How could they think otherwise? It was a humbling lesson. One that they had to learn the hard way.

Takeshi Yamamoto dressed in a traditional black kimono to mourn his death for well over a month—in his honor, and as a reminder. He will uphold the deceased’s pride in every battle forward.       )
