we need lore friendly skyrim animals mod list

so excited to compile this list as i've been having a blast playing with these mods installed!

variant mods:

dynamic animal variants, which makes animals spawn with different texture variants; every animal you meet will look a little unique

infinite dragon variants, which makes every dragon in the game visually unique

new fauna:

mammoth expansion, which adds bull and calf mammoths to the game

rhinos of skyrim, which adds woolly rhinos to the game

reindeer herds, which adds herds of reindeer to skyrim's northern tundra

wolves of cyrodiil, which adds cyrodiilic wolves to the forests near skyrim's southern border

boars unbound, which adds boars to mainland skyrim (i recommend using it with 'bristleback boars,' linked below)

crows and ravens, which adds crows and ravens to the game

seagulls of skyrim, which adds seagulls to skyrim's coastline and coastal settlements

birds of prey and felsaad terns, which adds new birds of prey to skyrim's skies

ring-necked pheasants, which adds live pheasants to the game

pigeons, which adds flocks of pigeons to skyrim's cities

chicks, which adds chicks to skyrim's farms

housecats, which adds domesticated cats to skyrim's cities and villages

sea of spirits, which adds sea life (whales, sharks, fish, etc) to the sea of ghosts

kagouti and guar, which adds both wild and domesticated kagouti and guar to solstheim

nix-hounds, which adds both wild and domesticated nix-hounds to solstheim

cliff racers fly so high, which adds cliff racers to the skies of solstheim

custom skeletons, remodels, and retextures:

savage wolves, a custom skeleton for wolves

savage bears, a custom skeleton for bears

bristleback boars, a custom skeleton for boars (makes them more closely resemble eurasian wild boars than african warthogs)

heartland horses, a custom skeleton for horses

immersive smilodons, a custom skeleton for sabrecats

rabbit replacer, a custom retexture for rabbits

nocturnal's birds replacer, a custom remodel and retexture of nocturnal's ravens

Why do Skyrim Modders want to make all the Regions look the same? It’s silly.

I like my Yellow Tundra.

Skyrim foliage fans will quite cheerfully turn the Whiterun tundra into fields of wheat, lush green meadows, thick banks of lavender or a gigantic pine forest, anything except the scraggly red, yellow, green, brown, orange and more yellow symphony of tundra it's meant to be. Kynareth is crying. Are you happy now?

KCCE - Khajiit Character Creation Extended, is an addon for RaceMenu that adds a bunch of new sliders for Khajiit characters. So this was a little project that started when I was working on my Sphynx Khajiit mod. I realised that there weren't a lot of character creation options for khajiit, and a lot of those options revolved around fur colour (which doesn't really work for Sphynxs). So I decided to do something about it and a few days later I had made around 40 new sliders for RaceMenu. Please let me know if you have any issues or you think a slider looks a little weird. I'm also taking suggestions on possible new sliders to add, so if you have any ideas feel free to mention them.

What is a good tutorial for explaining how to use SSE Edit to people?

I haven't really needed a guide since, like, 2016, but I want to have a link for people who ask for assistance with it.

I tend to send people to GamerPoets for help setting up programs and DarkFox127 for Creation Kit tutorials. Are there any other similar handy guides I should recommend?

Recently released a Skyrim mod that at this point I have put a ridiculous amount of time and effort towards, Diverse Dragon Priests! It adds a huge amount of variation to Dragon Priests including 35 new custom made models, HQ 4K textures, and multiple options and compatibility patches to make sure it works in as many people's load orders as possible <3 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/105519

This is only a WIP. It's doesn't contain many sliders. I just thought people might appreciate me publishing the WIP & updating it along the way. The name of the esp & all might change as well along the process. This is really just a rough WIP atm. 

I mainly already publish it in this state, because of the nostril depth slider I added. It saved my sanity in the short amount I added it already so much. And I can imagine others might feel the same. I HATE editing the nostril depth ingame. I never had issues working those in Blender, thou. So I made myself a slider. Because I hated as well to be forced to edit it FOR EVERY SINGLE NEW sculpt. 

For now it's only women, because I always start with those & then work my way to what I wanna do, then I add it to men, too. But I can't promise anything. This is just really a WIP. Maybe I continue it, maybe I don't. But again, I thought maybe people appreciate it, that they can use it.

meanwhile xelzaz, still connected to the hist and immune to hysteria, would be loudly and increasingly angrily screaming "what in the fucking oblivion is so funny?!"

Elves Overhaul Mini Update: Teeth

I've decided to do some teeth variety after all, based on Teeth Mod (for the glossy meshes) and Miggyluv's Natural Teeth.

The 'demo,' 'sharp,' and 'bad' styles are directly from Miggyluv's retexture page. I'm avoiding 3D teeth, because I think it's excessive for NPCs and limits the customization I can do.

Might do some more alternate missing/gold/crooked teeths?

Finally done with the male skin, at long fucking last. That being said there's still a lot that I need to do, mainly finishing the female skin; then I have to convert both texture sets to the vanilla bodies, fix up some stuff on the back end of things, and create some patches for a few mods. There's also a few miscellaneous cosmetics I'm thinking about adding, like some optional whiskers and some custom makeup/colour overlays; but we will see if I get to that.
