the idea of spamton just being naturally short fits better narratively than him being dunked in acid, it’s the embodiment of people looking down on him and treating him as a second option. he wants to make it big to prove he’s just as capable as the other addisons. i don’t think he was dunked in acid.

like i understand where people would get it from with “I USED TO BE NOTHING BUT THE E_MAIL GUY, NOW I'M THE [[It Burns! Ow! Stop! Help Me! It Burns!]] GUY!”

but like. in the japanese localization, that line is specifically translated as "it's too bright, my eyes hurt!". he is 100% not talking about acid there, and the reason i think i dislike that interpretation so much is that the actual meaning of it is SO MUCH MORE FUCKED UP?? this is referenced again where he says that kris's soul is "burning his eyes". like. it's talking about light. his eyes were burned by light. and that acid pit idea is just completely out of place in spamton's backstory... it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with why he's so obsessed with heaven, or light, or the angel. like i suppose both could've happened but aagh it just feels really out of character imo, like it's just needlessly cruel and feels really out of place with the rest of deltarune. i dunno. i guess "they put some guy in the acid and now he's tiny" is just not as compelling to me as "guy sees the heavens and is blinded by divinity", and where his short stature is more symbolic for his inferiority at selling and “making it big” than anything.

things i'd love to know: if harrow can make huge fuckass skeletons from one smalltiny knuckle bone, does that apply to the skeletons she's already planted? i.e. if she makes a skeleton (skeleton 1) out of bone 1, can she pull a bone 2 out of skeleton 1 to make a skeleton 2? is this what regenerating bone is? How does it work

So this is a silly song my mother taught me when I was a very smalltiny, since she knew I loved silly songs and she knew I loved bears! I posted some of the words in a group chat earlier because it was stuck in my head this morning, and Smith and Jubbs asked to hear me sing it!

Most of the words are adapted from Dr. Seuss, except for the fifth verse (the second to last one in this recording), which my mother made up just for me when I was little, since I loved (and still love) polar bears and asked her one day why there weren’t any verses about polar bears!

it's okay don't get discouraged ,you can make smalltiny changes to become healthier that won't feel like climbing a mountain with no equipment. I started with small baby things and it makes a difference , and don't look at it as "I'm fat/etc" ,look at it as "I'm unfit, but I can become more fit and healthier " (because fat people can be more healthy than skinny people don't buy into the skinny=healthy bs) ,but anyway , a change of perspective always helps even if it's small. You can do anything

You’re right, I can become healthier with little steps. Thank you for your input! I have had a bad past with trying to lose weight and balancing exercise so I have a lot to work on.
