How’s your dnd game going? What’s your favorite character? Fav bit of in game lore?

It’s going well! On a little holiday hiatus (and also I have to finish writing something I’ve been promising the players for a while but I’ll get it done… promise lol)

Garron! (The half elf man in the middle of the picture I posted a while back). I’m super invested in him and he’s my fave NPC to role play and banter with the players :)

(I don’t want to bore you with long world building paragraphs after you’ve been kind enough to indulge me with questions about one of my favorite hobbies so I’ll pick something short!) A tid bit of lore is that I really enjoy is that tieflings actually have a home land in my campaign! And it’s thanks to the suggestion of a player (everybody gets to world build in dnd lol). They come from the islands south of the continent and are a sea faring culture. They’re rum drinking, shanty singing, merchants fisherman and sailors. :) Distrusted by few as the post tech world has become a melting pot of different races and cultures, only a small minority still hold the antiquated belief that tieflings are devils.

Thanks for the question! I really love this campaign and the characters, so someone being interested in it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! Lol

Bloop here’s the Secret Santa I wrote for the Jeanmarco Gift Exchange for @smilingkat ~~ it was a good time and a fun concept to work with!!

Marco pulled his binder onto his lap, pretending to be corroborating sources as he surreptitiously peeked at Jean from beneath his lashes, still reading through the project. His lips moved every now and again, mouthing the words Marco had written, and every so often the index finger on his right hand twitched. He had such long, spidery fingers, making each time he flipped a page look almost elegant, and they were close enough for Marco to smell the lingering residue of alcohol and nicotine and heat that clung to him. He definitely smelled like he’d just been at a party.

"Finishing projects" is such a odd thing to understand, like what even is it exactly, you know? I think I heard “finished projects” are cryptids only seen in the forests of Wyoming during a full moon…. or so rumor said, Lol. I’m terrible at finishing things. I need to make it a habit to finish one delayed project a month or something so I can get them all done. All of the comic book collecting! :DDD (sorry for the long wait; uni work has kept me busy :3) I think after spending so much time in the bitter side of fandom, it's very refreshing to just embrace everything. There's very little ships now I disagree with, unless they're plainly misogynistic like Jessica/Kilgrave or Reylo or Reylux. And I love the idea of people seeing characters with different sexualities :D It's like I get to discover theirs along with my own, so I feel less alone :)

Yes! I have added so many to my collection since our last messages! (Which btw I’m sorry for the long wait for my response, I felt bad telling you I would tag you in that comic months ago and still not finishing it. I was trying to wait until I posted it to respond to you but I failed again and I can’t wait to talk to you any longer!)

It is very nice to finally be part of a fandom that seems so friendly. I have yet to run into any assholes and everyone seems just as open minded its great!! I totally agree about the feeling less alone figuring these things out through characters, it’s very cathartic. :)

(Also sorry for being a constant disappoint with the lack of art, but now that things have calmed down after the holidays and work problems have subsided I’m going to try to get in a daily schedule so hopefully I’ll posting things soon and often :))

Dude, it's totally fine, don't EVER apologise for lack of work :3 Coming from don't talk to me or my 400 unfinished projects ever again, I completely get struggling to finish things in a limited time frame. Like, heck, it took me a whole year to write my stormpilot fic and I still ain't finished lol. Awwww thank you, I still want to be tagged in stuff when you do finish it :DDD And yeah this fandom is kinda nice but every fandom has its ups and downs, so you still gotta be careful sometimes :P

Yeah I’m honestly really surprised, I’ve never been in a fandom this long without happening upon discourse. It’s kind of eerie really, like the calm before the storm…. (hope not but you never know..) Maybe I’m just staying in the right side of the fandom and tags so I’m avoiding all of that this time around, haha!
