The sight of you was almost sinful as he watched you pull the cloth from the sudsy basin, following along the length of your arm, your fingers pressing to wipe up the curve and to the back of your neck. Osferh could smell the rosemary and the sage, the lavender and thyme, though it was muted by the wood ash mixture to create the soap. 

It still mixed enticingly with the skin that you had bared. The sleeves of your nightdress spilled off the slope of your shoulders, giving view of your dewy cleavage that now air dried. 

Osferth swallowed his torment. It was an inviting softness that his eyes could not tear away from, and he felt his blood pumping thick in his veins to below his waist. He shifted, willing himself to pull away and yet…

You had looked back, catching his hooded gaze and the swell of black that now eclipsed the brilliant blue of the priest’s eyes. The red stained his sharp features which made you smile, just the subtle curl of your lips that were silky from the taste of your tongue. You said nothing about his post at the door frame to your sleeping quarters, but instead you turned towards him, ruching your chemise to your hips and spreading your legs for him.

Osferth choked on his breath, now stricken with the vision you made. 

His whole life served an atonement for sins that were not his own; his devotion to the Christian God had been decided by the king who would never dare breathe the truth of his relationship to Osferth. 

But he managed to find comfort in his circumstance, in the written word ordained. Osferth sought salvation in the repeated mantra of prayers for his faith to continue to grow and that he remained steadfast, selfless, and pure of mind. 

This left him in that moment as he watched your fingers dipped between to stroke your bare cunt. 

He watched how you blossomed from your own ministrations, how your blood rose to the surface of your skin, and how you glowed in the amber light of the candles lit, your folds glistening with your arousal. 

This moment burrowed into his chest and began to split him apart, his desperation replacing the blood of his veins and his heart bruising erratically against his bones beneath. He felt the uncomfortable pressure against the crotch of his slacks that was gratefully hidden beneath his albe. 

You beckoned to him with a coy grin and his legs willed him forward. Osferth fell to his knees at the altar you made, tucked between your flushed thighs, welcoming the intimate scent that now fused with you. 

He trembled with his touch, his warm palms settling on your knees to hold himself. He released a shuddered breath when your hand reached for his, bringing it to your lips and suckling, your tongue tickling his finger pads before leading them back towards your core. 

The red thickened to crimson on his face and his neck as you mewled from his guided touch; your soft words encouraged him, “Osferth, please touch me further,” and your slick now covered his fingers. He tentatively curled his finger within you, a gentle prod to search for your pleasure, and continued when you cried out with the beginning flutter of your velvet walls around his digits. 

Osferth could only gape with how your body responded to his touch, how you were flushed, but gleaming and begging for more. You pushed yourself upright, reaching to curl your fingers around the cross resting on his chest, using it to pull him closer. When you pressed a chaste kiss to the corner of his mouth, it was met with a choked gasp, the stammered prayers of forgiveness spilling from his lips in response. 

This only spurred your actions further. You rolled your hips against his hand, chasing your pleasure, pushing to be closer, to reach beneath his albe and place your palm against his crotch. You could feel his heady warmth through the fabric.

Your legs lifted to knit around his slender waist, pulling him even closer to continue rutting against, coaxing his heavy length to rub against the inside of your thigh. 

This effort had your breath become an exchange shared with his exhale becoming your inhale, until you both were panting with your building pleasure. He dipped his head into the curve of your neck and your skin rose as his teeth nipped at your pulse. 

Your completion rippled through with your sweet sighs, until you were breathless against him. You held onto his broad shoulders to maintain how your hips rolled against his own and Osferth chased after this euphoria. 

He felt the heat pooling at his lower back, his own pleasure coiling tight at the base of his spine. It pulled him towards an unknown precipice, something he followed blindly with each thrust against the softness of your body.  

And it came with your touch through his sandy locks. He choked on his words, “Oh, God,” that was muffled against your skin, a pitiful moan partnered as his hips stuttered. His release came hot and thick, dampening the layers of his priestly garb. 

Osferth welcomed the warmth of your embrace after, your arms and legs wrapping around his slender frame. You enjoyed his weight against you and your fingertips drew soothing patterns on his backside until you felt his heart rate settle once again. 

Even then, neither of you dared move.

Writing update!

My muses have been all over the place lately, I've been writing a lot but nothing I can share with you guys yet.

I am so close to finishing the last chapter of Nine crimes and I'm really happy with the direction it's taking, I just have two different endings in mind and can't make my mind up yet on which one to go with.

I also picked up an old unfinished Eddie Munson fic cause I had the urge to write some Eddie this week (cause I still fucking miss him!) and I'm really hoping to finish it this time.

And after finishing season 5 of The Last Kingdom this week I started writing a part 2 for Sanctuary because I desperately needed more Osferth. (And the week before that I also started a smutty Modern Aemond drabble where reader wakes up in Aemond's bed after a drunken one night stand)

So, plenty of ideas, just need to finish them all now lol Watch this space I guess ;)
