Help me make fanfiction decisions again <3

I've been planning to write a special chapter for my multi-chaptered fic 'Levi's Valentine', and I have so many ideas. I think I'll end up writing all these ideas eventually, but I would like you all to help me decide which one to write first!!

i don't wanna post too mush aot shit here because... yeah... and i hate the way they ended things and didn't address a lot of moments and MOST importantly, didn't properly discuss the wrongness of eren's actions (and how fucking horrible and egoistic what he did was). but after the latest episode i saw some people compare ch.121 eren and ch.139 eren and be like 'tell me that's the same person, i dare you' and im-??? yes. it's the same person.

'people are trying to make him look more redeemable, which he's not, so he can be with mikasa'... i don't know how to tell you, steven, but eren is fucking dead. he can't be with mikasa anyway. it doesn't matter if he's redeemable or not, he's DEAD. in fact, this makes even more sense for eren to act like this. because he's dead and there's no point in acting 'mature' and playing the devil anymore.

his actions are not redeemable. but hes still allowed to react and act as a young, very emotional 19yo who is literally dying. plus, it ties very well to the fact that he was supressing his emotions and dissociating during/after the timeskip and the rambling. ch.139 is him finally having his breakdown. but it's not a breakdown people expected, i guess???

well, surpise! turns out, people have breakdowns differently. eren cried saying that he doesn't want mikasa to move on from him, but this isn't the real reason why he reacted like this??? he acts so childish, because at that moment he's finally allowing himself to feel and act like a petty angry teen again - something he couldn't and wasn't allowed to do for a long, long time.

he isn't even that sad over mikasa being with someone else as over the fact that he's dying and everything went to hell and his plan probably failed and nothing will be same ever again - like, for example... when mikasa was in love with him. so yeah, eren from 139 is the same eren from 121, but when he can drop the mask and be that crying, childish boy he was in s1-3 again. because eren is a complex character who doesn't have a switch inside of him that makes him completely go from being eren to the devil himself. and again, this doesn't mean that his actions are redeemable.

i think what hurts about the ending the most is the fact that it ultimately took the realism route: 

there was going to be no happy anime ending nor was there going to be some yams bullshit “haha everyone lived” or “everyones dead” it had to end this way and it ended with subtleties that you really need to look into to understand. on the surface and beneath the layers, i think the overall message of the ending was based on the world of attack on titan itself: it’s kill or be killed, and eren and his character did both which left everyone else in the hopeful and yet shaky aftermath.

So now Reiner can never be better than Porco, because Porco won, by sacrificing himself for Reiner. He proved he’s better person that who can die for Reiner, and will always be better one. It’s so good and sad moment.

I cried a lot, but I like how Porco’s end was. Porco saved two people and died smiling. It’s so touching.

Even without Porco, Falco would probably live, by inheriting Armored. But Porco decided to be eaten instead of Reiner- to save both’ lives. And that’s so noble thing to do. I love him so much. RIP Porco

Hi! Hope you're doing ok. I was reading one of your recent responses on chap 126, I wanted to ask you about something. You said that Levi wants to fight for his promise and Hanji for humanity. Do you personally believe Levi is no longer for humanity's sake and only for his promise? Thanks in advance!

oh! no well yeah i do think Levi also wants to fight for humanity to a grade because we've seem him looking after humans' freedom and dignity in general, right?

I think I meant to say more like, the objective he seems to be focusing on atm, the last boost he's holding onto, is the mission he set for himself before erwin died (or at least that's what yams is letting us know for now, unless he's just being lazy to show another side of him right now) Levi literally almost died and the first thing that comes to his mind after waking up is Zeke 😂 (cannot blame his stubbornness because the monkey just kept running away)

I don't even know if he's aware that zeke is not as threathening as eren is to the world rn but if so, then that'd make me conclude he's in fact kinda obsessed with his promise; because someone who cares mainly about human life would think of stopping Eren first and not just about a mission that's way far from being accomplished.

This although, doesn t have to mean there's no room for other motives or hopes he might be keeping or that define the most human side of his character. I think it can be possible that his wishes remain on humanity's sake's side, is just that they're being overshadowed right now by his personal motivation (which makes sense because in his place, you'd think that focusing on your biggest goal is the best fuel to get up and keep going)

I don't think he doesn't care about humanity, I'm sure that if he could do both things he would. But he prefers to finish this one thing first before he dies at least (who knows, maybe he legit thinks that kiling Zeke will make saving humanity easier, but I doubt it-but that's just me)

so....so i’ve been seeing some stuff about Levi this chapter and I don’t think he’ll die, but I’ve heard people say they want him to either A: have Eren become his liege or B: “let him die” so he can rest and join his friends in the afterlife or something.

 The thing that’s nagging me most about those is the fact that both of those options would mean Hange (the closest friend he has left) would kind of be left straight up alone- and while I think Hange is capable of many things, I can’t see them doing all of this by themselves any longer.

both of them are in very sticky situations right now, but I can’t see them dying off without realizing the strength of their friendship. 

And I really mean the word “friendship” because this means a lot more to me than shipping. I just genuinely don’t want to see them both so alone anymore when their greatest support is right in front of them. And I can’t see Levi ever abandoning their bond of trust.

Okay, so a lot of people think Eren is going to die at the end of the story (something I hope will happen, even though I love him so much; it would make for a satisfying end to his character). Anyway, how do you think Levi will react? There are three overall different ‘ways’ Eren could die in my eyes, those being: Eren dying in combat, Eren sacrificing himself, or Eren being killed by an ally (Lelouch, villain- let’s say Levi’s the killer) Overall, how do you think Levi would respond to each?

Scrapping the "Eren dying in combat" because I think it's very unlikely and considering I have never watched Code Geass so I only have a vague idea of what you mean (I know Lelouch made himself to be the villain people could side against but I didn't know he died, though it makes sense in retrospect?), I want to make it clear that I suck at coming up with headcanons and stuff, so I won't do that.

But character-analysis-wise, if it came down to Eren sacrificing himself and ending his own life, I think the main cast would know what he's about to do, so I'm sure Levi would be distraught (he spent years with Eren, saving him, mentoring him, helping him, comforting him), but he would probably be stoic in his distress, like here.

Of course, he wouldn't want Eren to die, that much is painfully clear after everything that happened.

Furthermore, Levi hates sacrifices, so I think he would also feel...angry at the situation, at Eren for not finding another way. But ultimately he'd respect the decision, if really there weren't any other options.

But I think he'd always be fond of Eren, no matter what.

Headcanon territory but, If Eren became a hero like that, I would love for Levi to, I don't know, recall Eren's deeds and talk about him to the younger generations (like, Levi owning a tea shop close by the orphanage so that kids could get some cold lemon tea after playing is endearing on its own). 

If it came down to someone of the main cast having to stop and kill Eren (again, unlikely, imo), and if that someone was Levi, I think he would have to go through a lot of emotional turmoil before accepting to do such a thing. We saw the beginning of it in chapter 112 and it wasn't pretty. He utterly rejected his orders. I guess if he came to the conclusion (AFTER talking with Eren and trying to stop him in a safe way) that he has no choice but to kill him, he would reluctantly get to it, although I'm not sure he would succeed. I think he'd hesitate at the last second. If anything, I could see Armin or Hange doing that, I'm not sure why.

If the plan of killing Eren was discussed among the SC members, he would oppose it like in chapter 112, or oppose it at a later date. And since we're talking about this angle, I feel like plugging this godly fanfic (ereri), because it's something I could see happening, as far as canon events (and reactions to it) are concerned.
