On a side note Lady's character arc in 3 was perfectly done. I love her in that game. Her whole conflict with Arkham throughout the game is great but in this series, she kinda gets stripped of that? In the netflixmaycry the conflict it's just her main reason to get into that.. whatever team that fights demons is, and it plays a lot in her trauma, but.. the closure she gets is different because she decides to save some demons we are supposed to feel pity for? Because apparently dmc has always been about this "good" demons omfg.

Also Arkham dies when she's a child? she doesn't get to kill him like in the game.

Not to mention the constant swearing. I'm not bothered by it but when you hear her say "fuck" "fucking" every single time she speaks it kinda gets tiring.

The more I think about this the more frustrated I get. Sometimes I'm ok with changes on series and such when it's done RIGHT. When they actually make the story/characters better. But this is not the case with the netflix series.

The new netflix dmc series is just. so. fucking. bad.

It got worse with every episode, like it tried to cover a lot, and the result was a whole mess. Like on one side I get the message. Truly, I do. But my god is dmc really the franchise you would use for that???? Lady was done pretty bad, and WHAT ON EARTH did they do to Vergil??? HOW do you screw up VERGIL. Dante was just OK but even his characterization was not entirely consistent??

I did like that the white rabbit called Vergil "Dante's other half". I love that Dante said he'd live for Vergil. The animation in episode 6 was great. Some good action scenes here and there.

BUT VERGIL. THE STORY??
