epic winter literally would've made so much more sense if the snow queen never got a husband & instead continued drifting absentmindedly around the kingdom. eventually realizing she had to pick an heir she grabbed a random ice pixie named crystal that she decided to make her daughter by adopting her & then doting on her excessively before completely disappearing & leaving crystal in charge. the reason jackie hates her is because it could've been any of them. why was it crystal? why her? why not jackie? crystal meanwhile has never experienced parental love before & becomes completely dependent on making her mother proud of her & gradually growing more bitter about her absence & eventually deciding to steal the four roses etc etc in order to get her attention. this is basically my epic winter rewrite idea

Snow doesn't come around often in the zones, and it's believed that Snow Daze, the deity of desert winters, requires certain offerings or special circumstances in order to convince them to bring winter to the zones. Not much is known about them, but if you look closely through the icy smog, you might be able to catch a glimpse of them before the sleet whisks you away.

Just don't try to go after them. They don't like to be stared at. And definitely don't provoke them. Freezing to death is a horribly unpleasant way to go.

First snow!

It hit when I was at work, and they let us out a half hour early because the roads were so bad. After skidding and sliding all over the place and nearly hitting a telephone pole (and the few other people on the road were doing about the same) I spent the night at my dad's.

I think after a few years of getting hardly anything, everyone got a bit complacent, and the plows and salt trucks kinda dropped the ball last night.

I think next time we're supposed to get this much snow, I'll just call out.

theyre actually my default file lmao,, i usually do rags to riches w off the grid + simple living lot challenges active. sometimes cursed + wild foxes and other stuff to try and make it harder.

its a set up w Izou, Salieri, Constantine, Dantes, Merlin, and Asclepius rn. I recently got a hair mod for Douman so ive been meaning to add him but currently im obsessed w my mess.
